Hi everyone i'm rodonna from boys and girls hairstyles today i have megan with me and i'm really excited i didn't know when she come when she first showed up that we was going to cut her hair. So i appreciate her letting us do a video on it. It'S going to be really cute um. She was all blonde before we put some dark around her face to pop out her eyes and then dark underneath to pop out this blonde color on top. So we are doing a short bob here and this will make her hair look so much thicker. We even brought the length up last time some, but this is going to make it look even thicker. Okay, so we're going to come down here on her neck and you can always um, you know, go shorter, so i kind of leave it just. This is about the length, though, that i think you're gon na love, okay bring this down on the neck. So it's down flat! Oh my gosh, are you excited? Are you kind of freaking out it's so cute, okay and then i'm going to tilt her head kind of back and up, and i think it's really fun, because she's they're actually getting pictures done was it? Is it yeah it's next weekend, huh, so that'll be fun. That'Ll give her a good just over a week to sit and style it and have fun with it. So it will be good and the color. I think, you're going to absolutely love to have the different. You know colors in there it'll give it some dimension and stuff. Okay, i'm going to tilt her head a little bit again, just bring it down on her neck that'll be cute with all your sweaters, this winter and your hoodies. I just want some more body yeah. Exactly - and this is such a good cut to make your hair look thicker and have more body for sure. Okay now make sure their their chin is tilted up and their heads kind of over okay. So now after we have the length, i'm just going to fill the length and make sure we're even on on both sides and then what we're going to do is come back here. I'M going to hold this out and you can see where the hair is dropping out. That'S the length. So that's that's good. Let that drop out and then we're just going to take and point cut into this bottom area. Just for a little bit of layering. We don't want a lot of layering. She wants the look of just kind of more of a blunt cut here, but a little bit of layering in the back. So it's not so heavy and it doesn't look like boxy back here. So yeah we'll just take this and pull this back because we obviously want it to fall longer. So if you pull it back, it will fall longer. Okay and this side, and then of course, once you dry it you can check and see. You know how your like, if you need it shorter in spots. Okay, now this i'm just gon na hold up here just take these little ends off all right, meg, it's feeling good! Are you feeling like? How are you feeling i'm looking at my hair on my cape going? Oh my gosh, oh it's gon na be so stinking cute and i was even telling her. You know she can um do a loose curl with this. That would be super duper cute. Okay. So i'm gon na take from come back here. Take from the front i'm going to comb all this back. Just take that little bit there so same thing over here. I'M just going to hold this all back this way. Okay, then we are going to texture and that's obviously going to give her volume two and like. Let me just show you this when you hold this up and it right where it bends. That'S where you need the body, that's showing you where it's heavy, so you can just go in there just coming up through the crown area. Um, i don't want unless somebody's hair is really thick and they want it way. Piecey, i usually don't um texture, just the ends i like to texture up through here. So you have that body and not too wispy of ends. Sometimes it makes you look like you have thinner hair if you do the ends. So if you do up in here, not buy a part for sure, but up in that really helps so. Okay, now for styling, we are going to use the root lifter and one squirt of mousse for volume up top and then blowout cream just a little bit, and this protects from the heat and the blow dryer. Okay, so to blow dry, i'm going to go back and forth the directions to give it the body and then i'm going to round brush when it's about 80 dry. So no really i love that that's the best. That is definitely the best. I always think i'm gon na do something when i'm like yeah. No, i don't care. Oh that's right, she's, going daring. She has family pictures coming, okay, okay, you guys! Now, what i'm going to do is take a couple um little drops of the oil and rub it in you can see there's little flyaways here a little bit. Almost everybody has those, but i love it and we love that we put the dark right here. It just pops your eyes, but yet she's blonde and then there's the dark in the back. Okay, so we're gon na do that and then i'm gon na just let's see where's my here's, my dry texturizing just gon na spray that up through here this is kind of like backcombing in a bottle and that smells phenomenal. This is my boy's girlfriend's mom. By the way she uh. I guess i didn't need to say that, but yeah we just love them. Okay, that is adorable. Okay, okay, i'm gon na turn her around this way. How poofy do you want it? Do you want it kind of poofy yeah? You can do it. Okay, we're gon na. We are gon na back comb out a little bit with that comb. I'M all about back home right. We like big hair, come on. I have to have big hair, some of them out. There are saying, no, you don't. I know some of this love it. I just feel like if we like back home up like this you're gon na, be able to see like the picture that you showed me. Okay, so i did the dark window underneath and i did about two um brown throughout here and then i did the whole front. The brown, the dark a5n, is what i used. Okay now i'm going to turn her around and then we'll see her in the mirror. Oh, my gosh, that's so cute! It'S so cute! Do you like it yeah, it's so cute, see, isn't that fun with that little bit of brown, i'm gon na brown through your front yep. I know like it's it's like when you go like this and it stops right, say it's so crazy, it's so cute. It is so cute. In fact, let me take this off and you can see that everybody's gon na be like what in the world i go. Huh, oh so cute yeah. I love this part right! Isn'T that cute?
