Hey guys welcome to my youtube channel today, I'm gon na be sharing with you guys, a huge hair transformation. My client wants to chop her hair off and we're gon na be bringing in tons of one. So I'm gon na be sharing with you guys. My boy Leon technique and my long bob technique, so that's something you're interested in stay tuned all right. So this is our. Before she's got this nice beautiful long hair, it's pretty much all virgin hair, meaning it hasn't been colored, but we're actually going to chop this off she's going to donate some of it and then we're going to give her a nice, a beautiful foliage. So I'm so excited to do this, and I can't wait for you guys to watch this amazing hair transformation so for her color we're going to mix up well a blonde door and we're gon na make it 25 volume. So we're gon na mix equal parts of 20 and 30 and then I'm also going to add in some old lengths to ensure that her hair stays nice and healthy all right. So all of my sections - I have done two diagonal back sections and then one straight across so as we're starting this section you guys can see all our hair is all virgin, which is the best campus to have. But what we're going to do is I took my sections about half an inch thick. You guys can see that there and I'm going to weave out my section that I want to be lighter. This is going to remain as almost a low light and to just create dimension. Obviously we don't to color all our hair, so this is going to be our like low light, / dimension piece. Then, once I read that I'm going to tease it up into the root - and this is going to help us just create a little bit more of a blend, so it went well I'm using these longer foils. I just like it so that I got more of a surface to paint on it makes it a lot easier for me what I'm going to do to right of just below the teased area, I'm going to apply a lightweight conditioner. Now this is the gold. Well: dual senses conditioner! It'S really lightweight the best thing that I found that works for this technique, but what I'm going to do after I've applied that conditioner as I apply my Lightner and we're just going to kind of blend it up into that conditioner, and this is going to create A really seamless blend all of my clients I try to create blend within the section and not have to go back through and do a root, shadow or reshape or like a color melt, or anything like that. My goal is to not have to add more color onto their hair, so especially for someone that care you just have virgin hair. We don't want to be adding an extra color in there and try to have to like lift through that or have it fade or anything like that. So we're always doing that to just praise the soft just blend as possible. Then I go in with a clean brush and I'm just gon na erase any lines that could pop up it's just kind of again. It helps to ensure that I get really good blend and then I just place a small foil on top fold up the ends, and this is gon na incubate. It really nicely for us kind of lock in that corner and that's basically how I do my balayage boy Liyanage technique. Well, alright! So now we've got to the front of the hair. We just finished all the foils in the back, but what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na do her front hairline now she doesn't want it super close to her hairline, but we want to still create some lightness right around her face, so we're gon na. Take about an inch away from the hairline, maybe just a little bit more to add some brightness in so I'm just gon na section this out across her part right about there we're going to clip all of this hair away. You guys, since she is a little bit of a finer hairline, we're gon na kind of pick up some of these pieces, so we got a little bit of brightness but we're not bringing the brightness up into it. So it shouldn't matter too too much, but we're gon na just take almost like a highlight section and I'm going to weave this guy. You know I don't tease these pieces because it is such a fine piece anyways. So if you want to so use my long foils just so that I have a nice surface to paint on I'll, walk that in and take our lightweight conditioner and we're gon na drag it down now. If you only wanted a tiny bit of root, we would only do a conditioner about two here, but she wants a little bit more route around her face. The way I'm gon na drag this down just a little bit more down here I was gon na start like in the mid shot, and then you know paint to the end. We get that fully saturated and - and I go back through and kind of blend everything in I like to do with a little bit like cleaner of a brush, so it has a less product on it. So I'm not like swatting a ton of product, so I always kind of start poor at that bottom area. First, I think I'm just kind of blending this up into it and I will take my brush to just kind of smooth it out and we're gon na pull this one into thirds. Now you want to be real careful when you are folding this to not hit anywhere above there, because there's Lightner, there's gon na kind of hold that like that, and that will lock it in place and we're gon na do three more of these to complete the Front hairline, I am skipping a little section here again. This is gon na be our dimension piece. You don't want to make her super super flan. Then we could go back in and ship this out if she wants to which we might, but I kind of just feel it out. Do you, like kind of where the hair is laying on the client? This is going to be our last section and I'm going to kind of do a deeper weave here, just to make sure we're picking up pieces on the hairline. This one I'll do a little bit closer just so that when she wears on her back its feathering that and really lightly just with kind of a tip of my brush, can I go back through and kind of rape that little tiny bit right there, I'll lock. This guy into place, and then I always kind of separate the hair on the clients - face. That'S not hanging out in their face those little baby hairs. I'Ll, be careful about that. Then we aren't gon na. Let this oil kind of hang out down here I'll. Take these guys down and part it where the hair was parted, bring this back down when these coils are just gon na kind of hang out right there. I will kind of fold them up like that. So they're, you know a little visor for the client. Okay, now we'll separate the hair back and we're gon na tackle each side will do the hairline and then kind of diagonal back up into the corner. So now we are working around the front hairline and you guys can see this section. It'S like just a little bit about a half an inch thick, but I'm going to just kind of weave it out. She'S got fine hair. So on some points I would do a little bit thinner of a section but she's her spine enough to be able to do this, and I just weave it and I'm not going to tease these pieces around the face. Usually they're fine enough to not have to do that. I am still going to use my cleaner and then we're just going to kind of blend this Lightner up into it, making sure to fully saturate those ends and then just blending it up into ten conditioner area. Now these are going to be the pieces that are on the face, so you want to make sure that they're super super blended. But the cool thing is doing this technique because the clients hair you're painting it this way and then, when they wear their hit. This way back away from their face, it actually creates a really nice blend, but you still want to make sure that you're going back in there and feathering it through and just cleaning it up, making sure that there's no spots or anything just being really cautious about That, because that is the piece right around their face, they will take some tests if there's a spot or something so we lock this one into place and then I am going to do two of those kind of sections around her face. Bringing this one up. A little bit higher into that temple area that she has kind of right here. Every clients hairline is different, so you have to really customize it for each client weave it. It was, can see. I'M pulling this section now now she did have these pieces that were hanging down from the front hairline I clipped those away because they don't want to lighten those so again we're making sure to cover that little spot, but she doesn't get a black hole in the Front, I just want to be lighting this all the way around, and you guys know the finer this section, the better the blend, so, if you're in doubt or you're having issues with your sections mean lines or just having issues with it. Take finer sections that usually seems to fix the problem anytime, you have a finer more of a baby light section. It'S always going to be better for you then trying to take too much hair in the foil, and I would rather you guys, take less hair and take two sections versus doing it all at once. So I'm gon na take this brush. You guys can see the things if there's little spots right there, I'm just gon na kind of clean that up just like my little eraser works great now just kind of fold, this up right here and making sure not to cross over that conditioner line again, because We don't want to get lighten up there and then cause another spot. So so that's how I do the hairline now we're just going to continue all the way up into her hair, we're going to do kind of diagonal back sections all the way till we reach to this corner all right. We just finished putting all the foils and it looks a little messy, but in comments there is a method to the madness. So with each section in the back, I did two diagonal sections, one straight across section and again with all the sections we leave T's and then add the conditioner and when I finished with the back, I always go through and kind of check just to see how It'S lightening up, you guys can see it's lightening up beautifully and look at that one. It looks so good so smooth and that's even with teasing. So it's going to be even a smoother blend once we rinse that out and then for the front we do the two. You know three front hairline pieces, the two in the front on the sides and then I do diagonal backs all the way up into this corner and I do the same on the other side. So this is just a really great technique. It seems to work really well for me. You could also go back through and kind of tip out some of these ends that are in here, but we're not going to, because I want to make sure we have tons of dimension for her. So this technique works really good and the placement seems to work good all right so for her toner we're gon na be doing nine and 99v shades eq. I'M gon na do half of that formula, so equal parts of all three of those in one ounce and then one ounce of clear and then two ounces of developer. This is pretty much my go-to formula for a lot of my balayage is it just? Is a really easy color you get the natural in there, but then you also get the toning effect as well, so we're gon na use that on her today, all right so we're gon na start the toning and I always start underneath the head. The reason why is in case it gets too ashy or too dark. I can always rinse out the bottom instead of it having it be right, I help my clients face, so if anything gets too ashy or anything like that, you always want to have it be. Underneath them in the back first is around their face. Obviously, all right so we're just gon na apply it and usually I kind of start applying it to like more than root area, and I kind of leave the end up I'll apply it to that afterwards. Now she doesn't have to get a ton of toning because she got pretty light and she's not too too warm. But we are going to just kind of take out some of this a little bit of warmth and kind of cool it down a tiny bit. And yes, I'm not using gloves, don't do this at home guys you should use gloves. Okay, just claimer use bubs once I got that fully applied through the hair, I'm just gon na comb it through. I love this comb, you guys it's called. It'S called the bow comb. It'S a great comb for being able to disperse color throughout. But the great thing is it has this little roller inside so it doesn't drag the color down as you're coming it through. So it's perfect for root shadows, rich shades, color melts things like that, but it's also just great to kind of comb through your toners because it doesn't hold the hair and it kind of almost detangles while you're doing it so definitely been getting that comb. Alright. So you guys can see it's been sitting on for about five minutes and look at all those beautiful tones. It'S like a perfect ash blonde, but not to Ashley where it's like gray or anything, there's still some good warmth in there. But we got rid of kind of that yellowy. Look that almost like the Sun in look. So this is my favorite go to Tony formula and I like putting in a little bit of clear so that it doesn't get too dark, but this is really good. So it's it's pretty much ready to rinse all right. Here'S our final product! Look! How cute it is! Oh, my gosh that beautiful color like I said she had the perfect palette to start with, but so you all right guys. I hoped you liked watching that process. That is basically my signature boy Leo's technique. I loved how her hair turned out. It was such a fun transformation to do, especially on somebody who had long virgin hair to begin with. It was so fun to cut short and just give her some brightness. So if you like videos like this make sure to hit the subscribe button down below, I'm going to be doing a ton. Brit Bemis: I have watched so many of your videos and I love the color results using your technique. My hairstylist is older and im not sure they are up to date with new techniques. what is the best way to approach my stylist about doing this type of balayage? if they are not able to do it, how would I find another stylist I can trust who can accomplish this? I appreciate your help!

Liam Harley: Beautiful as always!!!! Had a guest with natural dark hair wanting a heavy blonde balyage effect, used this technique and looked great, thankyou for being so inspiring!!! Thickest hair I've ever en countered, took me three hours to weave it all out where I had to piggy back all the underneath for the heavy blonde ends (she was going to uni and didn't have the time to build the blonde through the ends in sessions), any tips for a more time effective way of doing this, or am I on the right track and it's just a case that it's a LOT of work, especially on super thick hair? Many thanks!!! X

Dave Edward Diaz: How much do you charge for the Foilayage with that length? With how you're treating your clients. It's definitely worth it.

Lisa Blood: Beautiful Work, just one suggestion, I used to work for Redken. Training in salons. Shades EQ should be toned on dry hair for the best long term results up to 20min. It also has a shampoo in it so the more you manipulate it , it becomes soapy and diluted. Wet hair dilutes the product so your toner will not stay or be there very long a few shampoo's and its gone. If you think about it your washing your $ down the drain and the overall color wont last,Keep up the great work

Always Inspire: Wow this is just beautiful!!

Kevin O: Love this toning formula I use it as well

Silver Mont: Beautiful ! Could U have used one single go with the right permanent colour chosen though instead of bleaching ? In your professional opinion please share the reason for it ? I’m simply curious. Thank you for sharing ❤️

brandi wood: BLENDING WITH CONDITIONER?! You’re a genius!!!

Kayla Williams: My stylist basically used this exact same technique except she brought it all the way up and left like a half inch of root and now my hair just looks like it was blonde but has grown out lol. She also separated the sections with a comb and left the "low lite" pieces like you said but i think she made those pieces too big because it's kinda reminding me of early 2000s highlights

Mayra's Life-Style: Girl I'm gonna learn a whole lot from you

Leticia Martinez: I love your work thanks for sharing your techniques

MUA Nay: Tried this technique on my client yesterday she loves her hair ty so much!

I Abram: Fabulous tutorial and you are a lovely personality.

Andrea E. Dinwiddie: I love your work ❤️

yes you: Amazing!!! I wish someone like you could do my Hair.....:)))

Jessica Peace: It's beautiful!! Love it! Would have loved to see the face frame area pulled back though! But you are amazing thank you!

Miriam Hernandez: Gorgeous! What type of color brushes do you use?

Paris McIvor: Hi Jamie what was the name of the Goldwell conditioner? Thanks in advance ✌️❤️

Sara: Thanks Jamie great video❤️

mila mehmetj: Can u please do a video expalining toners ?? And what best formulas are for each level ...like for each level what a good warm one would be a neutral and a cool ? This would be sooo helpful

Allie Mosley: I have auburn hair and i did a natural looking ombré/ balayage on myself and it’s alright but i think it’s a little warmer than i want it to be. i didn’t use toner at all, i don’t know what toner to use either. i don’t want a white blonde because i have auburn/ naturally reddish hair but i also don’t want it too golden because i don’t think it’s flattering on my pale skin. idk what to do lol

Melissa K: Where can I buy this brush in Australia this is a must for my kit!!

zona999: Gorgeous!

Megan Cassedy: did you leave the toner on for the full 20 minutes like the directions say to or do you just watch it until you feel its ready to rinse?

K: Love your videos! In the future can you put the products used in description box so we don’t have to stop video and write things down or try to go back and find them.

Hannah Mullikin: Does this method work with any conditioner?

Lissette Ortiz: Thank you «3

Becky Boyce: How did you get so quick? It takes me nearly 2 hours just to apply lightener :(

Aninha silva: very good, but I don't understand very well. what did you use for virgin hair ?

Mimoza Krasniqi: So happy I found you

Sydney Judd: Do you think if I were to have my hair to soak coconut oil the night before and keep it in during the process it would act as the blending agent? Im just wondering if it would mess with that because I was planning on applying it as an extra protection to my hair shaft.

Reygan Starr: can someone tell me what those metal clips she uses are?

Bethanie Burns: Beautiful Job

Dwi Putri: Your cool technique with that foil and brush's stick :"
