RaDona's videos are specifically for those that are wanting to learn how to cut hair, learn new skills as a hair stylist and to be able to show your own hair stylist, the hairstyle and cut you would like.

Hi i'm rodona from boys and girls hairstyles. Today i have my beautiful mother with me and we thought it would be fun um to show you. I get asked a lot, so i thought it'd be fun to do a video on how to make your hair look. Fuller, if you have fine thin hair, so i'm going to show you a few things and how to round brush to make it look fuller. So my mom, if she was to let this dry, we have really straight straight fine, thin, hair, so anyway, um and then people that see her think she has a lot. So i'm just gon na give you and show you a few tricks on how to make it look. Fuller um, first off a lot of people will say to me okay. So this is a root lifter, so you just spray it into the root and then rub it around, but a lot of people um, it's kind of cute they'll, say to me: oh my hair. Just won't do anything, so i start going through the process. Okay, um. What product do you use? How do you blow dry it and i start going through a little list of things and a lot of them will say. Well, i don't really use product in my hair and then the other thing. Is they either? Let it air dry or they have a hard time drying it? They they don't really know. So i try to help them learn how to dry it, because it makes a huge huge difference. So um, product and drying is a really. Those two things are are big um. Of course the haircut helps also okay, so i did the root lifter. I'M gon na. Do a little bit of mousse mousse is lighter on fine thin hair, so mousse is better to use than like a gel or something like that. If you use gel and that works for you that's awesome. I just have found that if i use mousse it's lighter on the hair, it makes it fuller, um, okay. So then, after that, i like to use the volume and lift spray. This will help expand the hair strands um when you dry it to fill and look fuller. So not only like look fuller, but when you take your hands through your hair after you dry it with this, it feels um thicker, so, okay, so i put that in and now i'm going to show you how to dry um the blow dryer is also another Key um to a good style. If you have a really hot blow, dryer, that's not the best so get rid of that. I love low, medium and high. That way you can adjust so one that just turns on um try to get one with low, medium and high. That way you can adjust. This is a cool button. If you need to cool it, um and i'll show you in a second about that so um. I just start drying and with my mom's style, we just dry it down in the back here notice, how i'm moving my hand back and forth, and the blow dryer go back and forth back and forth. Okay, so same thing up here: okay, now for the top the front and sides, i'm just kind of going back and forth like this, what i do want to say is: sometimes people will be in a hurry or and which is fine, but they they dry in One spot when they think they're moving it so just be aware of that, because sometimes when you dry you're gon na have a part, that's sticking up in one spot um. But it's because it's it is harder on yourself to do, and so, when you're doing this, if you're doing this, you know it's what if it's like drying up this way, so just watch where you're drying um. So you don't have one spot. That'S like sticking up because the blow tire is in the same position: okay, so back and forth. Here too, i just kind of moved it back and forth with my fingers, okay and then, when it's about eighty percent dry, so they're still it's damp. Obviously, because you don't want it dry, um and if it does get too dry and it doesn't go in that spot, just wet it down and then just go over it, okay, um! Now i want to show you guys this. These are technique. Um. I know round brushes are ginormous in styling, so if you want fullness um round, brushes are the way to do it. Um these technique are amazing. It has the metal on the inside, so it helps when you're round brushing it helps heat it and another thing: if you guys have noticed, i'm sure some of you out there will know what i mean. They'Ve bought a round brush, but it doesn't hold the hair in the round brush that slides out. So it's very important what type of round brush you get. So these are the technique. I can move it that way. Um and i these are my favorite. These are what i buy and they have all different sizes um. I do like the 350 for my mom's hair, okay, so i'm going to start down here, because i don't need to worry about this. So just where the middle, you can see that i'm just rolling you can leave it for a second to cool and you'll. Get used to knowing how dry you should have your hair before you start to round brush. You don't want a round brush when it's stopping wet, that's going to pull your hair, and so that's obviously not healthy on your hair and i'm sure a lot of you out. There are saying i wish i could round brush, but i just can't, but honestly it just takes practice, so just keep doing it even even though you feel like you can't don't give up, it just takes a little bit and then once you're used to it. It'S super fast and easy so for my mom's style um. I, like you, know this coming this way and then we we do this this way and then we kind of we don't have a permanent part, but we go to this site. So everything from here i'm going to round brush over, feel good mom, that's good and with my mom i have it on medium heat, but i have it on high. If you're just running, if you're just learning to round brush, you can turn it. You know just down on low just to get so it doesn't have the hair flying everywhere. While you round brush um that might help you, okay and then i just always go through make sure everything's, good and dry okay. So the fullness in here um is awesome because, like i said, if she was to put even in the product and just let it air dry, it just wouldn't be this full this. It really gives it um the fullness. So then, i just take a little bit of my clay and you can leave it soft. Obviously, if that's the way you wear your hair, i like this because i feel like it helps the style hold and it pieces it out a little bit. So it gives it a little different look than if i would just dry it, and then you know poof. It a little and spray it. This gives it a little extra look especially kind of during you know, like the sides can kind of piece those out in her front bang. So it's fun my mom and i live in the same town. It'S actually really cool um. All my siblings live in my town, which i have one sister and two brothers. Yes, it's amazing and my husband's family live here, so we're kind of spoiled it's awesome. Okay, then, to back comb is very important too. If you want it to stay um. I definitely would get a good comb if you don't have a pin comb with three layers of the teeth. Then, if you have a comb like this, i recommend using the the small teeth: okay, um. In fact, i'll show you both i'm going to hold up you're going to hold up to the top, and you come in down and out kind of like a c c-shape. So it's not up and down up like this, see how i i do that and then i always like to spray under the back combing, so back comb in down by now. It just needs to be a little. You don't have to like. Do this just a little motion, okay and then after i spray it, then i just take my comb and just pull it into its place. Okay, now i'm going to show you with the other comb in case you don't have a comb like this. You can um. Do it with both, obviously okay, so the side i'm going to hold this up and down and out see how it gives it a base. You can see that base there, we go just spray under there same thing. Just a little c shape little c shape here and there um, and you guys can do it. However, you like i always like to start in the top crown, go back and then do sides and then kind of put it all together. Okay, so then just take when, when you go to comb this part out, i would use the bigger teeth: okay, just kind of put that into place okay. So after i do this other side, then alternative front to see what i'm doing. Okay, i'll i'll just finish with this one in case you guys have this comb. Okay, it's pretty! Underneath you can see i'm using the bigger teeth. Then i just kind of come on top and just kind of do this put it in place. Sorry mom no worries. Okay, then i'm going to turn her to the mirror, so i can see what i just did: okay, my gorgeous mama. What'S awesome is she's as amazing on the inside as she out. Thank you. I'M embarrassing her okay. So then i just spray and then after i spray, then i love whoa, oh as i put the lid off the shine spray okay. So that is a way to get your hair to look fuller, and i hope that helped you guys, as far as like the blow drying techniques and stuff um. If you have any questions about it, let me know, and thanks mom for letting me show them your style and uh. Thanks for support and we'll talk to you next time see ya, you
