Hey guys welcome back, thank you so much for your comments in the last. Video really means a lot to me. Make sure you keep them coming. Hey listen today, we're going to check out the Lucy Hale barb, how I would approach it we're gon na. Do it in some simple steps and the fun thing is either do the whole thing and then I'm gon na check back in with you once I'm done. So let's get started okay, so, as you can see, I finished the blow-dry. It was just a finger. Blow-Dry started out by just gently twisting the hair as I blow dried, and you can see that I get a lot of movement. The whole goal of this particular look was to have a nice blunt finish, and you can see that I've got that all the way through in this area like so and here, but I finished off with the razor I love using a combination of tools. Let me turn her around, so you can see exactly what I have done. I started out very first section. These were cut using a slight point, cutting technique as I took the hair and coming up from the underneath and just moving that thumb to get that slightly broken edge, but at a very low degree of elevation. I did that through until I could include the side. So we're going from this point down it's nice and blunt at that point, I went ahead, moved her around and started in with a very soft layering technique. This was very, very easy. I did not bring the hair straight up. In fact, what I wanted to do was just really meet the perimeter length that I established with the scissor and came in from the very top, and then gently shattered and lowered that hair. That way, it gave me a slightly broken up edge. It was never the goal to get a clean line. I always wanted this to be a little bit broken then, with a little bit of breaking the line up came in again with the razor to go in and just cut into, because, as you can see, the mannequin just like Lucy has quite a thickness of. I didn't want to destroy it, but I did want to break it up and, as you can see, she has this really great finish where it's not a perfect line, it was never intended to be, but it retains the thickness of her hair. A couple of styling options very, very simple: either a center part which gives us that symmetry of the line or as they come in just with a wide comb just going in and just flipping that over which what will give us. This kind of breakup and movement around the front. We can still see those layers coming to work here, pushing and directing the hair back. We can finish with any kind of texture, pace or kind of gloss serum to give us the perfect finished, Lucy Hale inspired kind of look. So I really hope that you enjoyed that Lucy Hale inspired soft and sophisticated bob. It was my pleasure to share it with. You. Remember, leave comments below any way that I can inspire you in any way with your hairdressing journey, whether you're a stylist or whether you're a guest.
