Hey guys, how are you it's Leila here and today's tutorial is a highly requested? Look that Kim Kardashian wore and one of the last episodes from the Keeping Up with the Kardashians the show they were in Bora Bora with the whole family and she wore this. Look to a dinner one day and I totally fell in love with the look when I saw it and I meant to recreate it. But then I kind of never got around to it and then a few of you guys sent in the pictures like screenshots. Of that look, so I I knew that I had to recreate it for you guys so today I'll be showing you how to do it. It'S really really simple and easy, and anybody can do it. So if you like this look - and you want to know how to recreate the look then keep watching and I'll show you exactly what you need to do. Okay, so for this tutorial I am using my lucky hair extensions in 160 grams set and in a minute I'm going to show you how to clip in the front pieces everything in the back stays the same, but the front pieces are a little bit different. So I'm going to show you how to do that. I have those pieces here. So another thing we're going to need is just a regular paddle brush some small elastic bands that match your hair color, and definitely this is kind of like the main star of this tutorial is a contrasting color in either a ribbon or a thin scarf. Today, I'm going to be using a ribbon, which I got at a dollar store. This is how it comes what it looks like and for me it's kind of like an ivory sort of color, which is going to go really great against my dark hair. So that's pretty much it so, let's get into the tutorial and I'll show you guys if you're, not if your hair is naturally long, then skip to the part where I'm showing how to do the braid. But if you are wearing extensions, then this is a step. You want to pay attention to so. The only thing that you need to kind of worried about is the front sections which I'll show you guys how to do so we're going to start off with the two clip weft and going to section off the hair. Actually, I should mention also that it's on Kim it's a straight party, so I just divided my hair right in the middle, and you can do that with a rat tail comb if you prefer so once you've separated, you know, created your parting. You want to separate the hair where you want to be putting in the weft, and so I'm going to separate my hair at the temples and then I'll grab. My two clip back just hit apply it like you would normally just really close to the hairline up here and away from the hairline right here. So I'm going to grab my section of hair about an inch in words. Hope you guys can see and then clip in the other one underneath the hair there lift it up. Just like this, okay and then we're going to release this portion and then I'm going to clip in basically these two clip wets one on top of the other. Just like this on the head, okay separate a portion and again you want to go away from the hairline. So when you put the hair up into a ponytail, it's not going to be showing you the weft. So just like this there's one and then the second one is going to go right below that. So we're going to separate that section with our fingers grab the last left and just below you want to just clip that it. So that's it once you release the section the weft are covered and we're ready to start reading. I'M going to start with my left side and with my fingers just going to separate a section about this thing. What you want to do is just put this up into a ponytail, so we're going to brush out the section first and then grab one of these elastic bands and just put this up into a ponytail. And then we want to do the same thing. For the other side, again, you want to make sure that the section is the same like this. Make sure that there's hair here covering the two clip weft and again we're going to grab an elastic band and just put the hair up into a matching ponytail. So, like a mirrored effect right so once you have your hair in the two little ponytails and you look like a little kid, because that's what it looks like right now, you want to grab your ribbon and what I've done is I've sort of measured it? This? Okay, I'll go back a little, so you can see you want to make sure that the length of the ribbon is going to be. You know the same as the length of the hair. Okay, so from one side you want to start measuring it and then make sure that obviously it's the same length on the other side. But I also left a little bit more just because we're going to be tying it right here and I wanted to make sure that I have enough length. So, at the end, if you end up with too much on one side, we can just cut it up and that's it so for this side, you want to make sure that you have enough length - and I know I'm out of focus, but you guys can pretty Much see what I'm talking about, you have a little bit more a little extra, because we are going to be tying this right now, so he might get shortened up a little bit and then what you want to do is just tie a little knot and I'm Going to separate the hair and put it in the back, so it's out of the way and then what you want to do is basically just tie a little knot here. So basically you're tying the ribbon around the hair they bring that through and then make sure it's really tight. Just like this and then now we have this one side and I have extra on this side. But that's okay, because I can just cut that off. So leave this portion alone for now and then what we're gon na do here is basically it's really really simple: you're going to braid like a regular braid, but instead of for the third section, you know how you have three sections in a regular braid for the Third, section you're just going to use the ribbon as your third section. We'Re going to do is just separate the hair, the section of hair into two, and then we have one section for the braid. I mean for the ribbon and now we're just going to start. Braiding, just like you would with a regular braid and having the ribbon there just creates a really pretty pattern, so we're going to do that all the way to the end of the hair. So when you get to the very bottom of the braid, you want to just tie that up with an elastic band, so now that we have one side completed, we're going to just repeat the process on the other side, so this portion in the middle it looks Like on Kim is left there and it kind of creates a look of a headband almost so we're going to do that as well, and then what you want to do is just wrap this ribbon exactly the same way and just tie it around the ponytails. Okay. So once you've tied the ribbon right here, you want to just repeat the process, basically separate the section of hair into two just like this two equal parts and then use the ribbon as your third section and just do a regular braid going all the way down. So again, when we get to the end of the braid, we're going to grab an elastic band and just tie the end, so when you have the braid secured, all you want to do is just cut off the extra ribbon there. So just separate your hair from the end and cut that carefully. That'S it guys once you've braided both of these braids. Your look is finished because on Kim the hair is left just straight I'll, go back a little, so you can see. So that's pretty much! The look it's very simple, and anybody can do it. It'S just a regular braid with some ribbon in it. So I hope you guys enjoyed it and give it a try if your hair is naturally long. This is like super super easy. You don't even have to worry about the West or anything like that. So yeah. I hope you guys are having a fabulous day and I will see in the next tutorial bye. You
