In this heatless hair tutorial I'll share with you my trick to get bigger and fuller waves overnight and volumize my hair without heat, curlers or a curling iron. All you have to do is create a french braid adding either scarves or hair extensions to your hair and go to sleep :) This technique works equally great for medium hair and for long hair. It is perfect to add volume to thin and flat hair, but if your hair is naturally thick, you can still use it for create even bigger waves.

This is a quick and easy technique to add volume to thin/fine flat and straight hair without teasing, heat or curlers. Of course, you can blow dry your hair too if you find it necessary - it will take you 15 to 20 minutes.

The waves produced by this technique are very long lasting and give your hair a great voluminous texture for various hairstyles that are not that easy to do on thin, soft and straight hair.

Hi guys, you may already know that one way to create heatless waves is to leave your hair overnight in a French braid. Don'T listen is that if your hair is a same as mine, it will turn out looking rather crimped and you will never get those big, beautiful waves that you might be dreaming about. So today, I'd like to share with you my tricks to create fuller waves using either scarves or hair extensions to start with I'll brush my hair, through trim of all the tangles, I'm going to use a set of glam time. Hair extensions set up with the hair bands right under the clips. I sprayed the extensions with some water and brush them through afterwards. Then I do the same thing with my own hair. It has to be just slightly dampened, so don't spray it too much. Now I'm going to create a regular French braid, incorporating the extensions into the braid the logics behind it is that the thicker, your braid is the bigger your waves will turn out. So I take the hair that lies right above my forehead and divide it into three equal parts. Then I merge the sections with three equal parts of hair extensions. At this point I can just keep on placing the outer strands over the middle one. Add an extra hair from the sides, as I prayed from now on. This is just a regular French braid that I'm going to secure at the end with an elastic you once the braid is done I'll spray it with some more water and go to sleep to wake up with beautiful waves the next morning, instead of extensions, you could Also use two scarves or t-shirts of appropriate length, aside from tying them together in the middle I'm going to need only three of the four ends, so I'll just wrap one end around the knot and secure it over there, as you might have already guessed, I'm going To incorporate the three ends of the scarf into my French braid, just like I did with hair extensions, I add each end of the scarf to each of the three initial strands of hair and form a regular French braid. So I keep on adding extra hair from the sides as I go, and once I reach the ends of my hair and use a hair band to secure the end of the braid together with this car makes me think it could already be a nice hairstyle for A little girl, especially from top you'd, create a nice ball instead of a simple knot. This is what it looks like once, I'm done by the next morning. My hair is dry and I can undo the braids one thing I love about this technique is how time efficient it is, and another thing is that this waves last much longer than any curls from a curling iron, not to mention I don't have to damage my Hair with heat - this is what my hair looks like right after I run down the braids now I only have to open up this waves, so these are the results scrunch in your hair, like so we'll help, you redefine your waves for extra length and volume. I can now attach my glam time, hair extensions but good curled at the same time with my own hair, and that's why I match it perfectly. I start from attaching the wider waves at the back of my head, so 3 clip webscoe, first and 1/4. Clip weft is placed right above them, then I place the smaller tulip rafts at the sides and voila. This look is now complete. I'Ll, show you what these waves look like from different angles. sierramist066: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO, I NEEDED IT SO MUCH. I have super thin hair and I've had problems with it forever. My natural hair is hideous and it's too damaged to use heat on it everyday but its also too thin to braid, so the scarf thing is just what I need!! Totally gonna try it, THANK YOU

LerinaMelissa: never thought of doing something like this! I never liked braiding my hair for waves because of how thin it is (looks crimped instead). very helpful

BuBBaHuB1912: This is a perfect way to do my hair! It is not entirly wavy like this, it is more wavy underneath and more straight at the top of my head. This way I can make it look all wavy + get my extensions to match! Thank you!

catholicathy: If you have thicker hair and are then able to use thicker sections of hair in your french braid then you can get these waves without the scarf. But as she said in the beginning of the video, this technique helps people with thinner hair get the long, soft waves rather than tight kinks. Hope that helps! :)
