There are two types of wefted weaves available at PerfectLocks.com, machine wefts and hand-tied wefts. Machine wefts are one continuous track that your stylist can be cut according to the length you need. The track is a bit thicker than hand tied, but it's not thick by any means. Machine wefts are the more common of the two. However, many customers prefer the thin and undetectable hand tied track.

Our machine wefted Virgin Indian Hair Extensions are made by skilled workers at our factory in India. Raw Virgin Indian Hair is used, and three people are required: 1 person who takes the bulk hair and starts sewing the track, the middle person keeps the hair free from tangling, and a third person to tidy up the track at the end.

Fina Khan: Cuticle hair must be in the same direction, root to point. You can use a regular machine, however you must place the hair on tissue paper gift wrapping kind, start sewing 2 inches from the root, paper to be extended as well, using your right hand to gently move it along from the back, stitch 2 rows, remove from machine then fold the 2 inches over with the paper flat iron to create the solid stable fold close to the stitching and stitch down sew 2 rows, more than 2 inch fold of cuticle hair will create matting as the cuticles are now reversed.
