Hello, my lovelies, so today I'm going to be showing you how to create this beautiful and what's going on classic French braid, with this beautiful classic French braid using clip-in hair extensions. Now I did do a tutorial on this about two and a half years ago, when I first started my youtube channel, but that video was so horrific in so many different ways that I just felt I had no choice but to do an updated version on it. Maestro play the clip when you reach the nape of your neck, and there is no more hair after the braids continue with a regular three strand braid. Until you reach your desires and voila, you have a chic classic French braid in a matter of minutes. What the? Oh God, no! So yeah! Now you guys know what I'm talking about. So I've been getting a ton of a requests. New requests from you guys to show you how I French braid my hair with my clip in hair extensions, because some of you guys are having a difficult time disguising your clips under your natural hair. So I thought I'd show you a few of my tricks that I use to create the perfect French braid every single time, and even if you don't wear clippings the tricks, I'm going to show you can be recreated on hair. That'S shoulder length or longer and some of the tips I'm going to show you. I didn't even show in my old French braid tutorial, so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to redo that tragic disaster, voila voila yeah. So without further ado, if you guys would like to see how I recreated this beautiful classic French braid using my clip in hair extensions, please keep watching. Okay. Ladies, so first I'm going to show you how I clip in my hair extensions when I'm braiding a French braid, so I will be using my 240 grams set of fancy hair extensions. Now. This set typically has 12 pieces total, but I will only be using these seven for today's tutorial and the reason I'm doing this is because one I want to make sure that none of my wife's are visible and I only want to clip them up to my Ear level, otherwise it's going to be much harder to disguise them and to I find that these seven webs still give me enough coverage to blend with my hair type, to make the added length and volume look natural, so the seven wets I will be clipping into My hair are my four two clip wafts, my two three clip wafts and my smallest four clip weft, I'm starting off by clipping, in my smallest, two clip Watts near the nape of my neck and then clipping in the rest of the wefts. In order of smallest to largest until I reach my ear level, two clip in my wets, I'm simply separating a section of hair horizontally, tying away the top section of hair to get it out of the way and then moving each clip in a circular motion against The roots of my hair to create a little nest before clipping them in place. This will create a foundation for the clips to grip onto without teasing my hair, which could be damaging to the hair. This will also allow the clips to stay in their place longer without any slipping. So after I clipped in all of my wife to my ear level, I'm then gathering the hair around my crown area and tying it into a half a ponytail with a small hair elastic. I'M gently pulling out some sections of hair around my crown area to create a little bit of volume and give this area more shape. Once I'm happy with how that looks, I'm going to start braiding, my French braid, so to begin, I'm picking up the ponytail that I just created and a section of hair from the left side and from the right side. So now I have three sections to work with: I'm crossing the left strand over the middle strand and then crossing the right strand over the middle next, I'm going to cross the left strand over the middle strand again and this time I'm going to pick up a Section of hair from the outside of the left strand and incorporate it into the left strand now crossing the right strand over the middle strand and picking up a section of hair from the outside of the right strand and incorporating it into the right strand and again, I'M crossing the left strand over the middle and incorporating a section of hair from the outside of the left strand and combining it with the left strand. So hopefully, by now, you guys get the gist of it. I'M simply repeating these steps again and again until I reach the name my neck and notice that, because I clipped in my hair extensions below my ear level, none of my clips are showing through because there is enough hair on top to cover them up completely. Once I reach the nape of my neck and continue to braid a regular three strand braid until I have a few inches of blues hair left at the ends, at which point I'm simply going to tie off the braid with a small hair elastic. Another thing I like to do is feel the back of my head with my fingers just to make sure that there are no wefts or clips peeking through my hair, and if there are, I just unclip the clip and clip it back into my roots, so that It'S hidden and I'm also going to gently pull apart the braid a tiny bit just to make it appear a little wider and the last step to finishing off. This look is to carefully cut off the elastic at the top of the braid that I originally put in to put some shape into the hair around my crown area. If you're doing this on yourself, you first want to feel for the elastic using your fingers and pull the elastic away from your hair as much as possible before cutting it off to make sure the huge won't accidentally cut your hair. You really want to take your time with this, so you don't make a mistake or better. Yet if you have someone at home who can help you with this, then put them to work? Okay, my love, so that wraps up my updated French braid tutorial. I really hope you enjoyed it and learn something new. If you like this video, please give it a big thumbs up and subscribe to my youtube channel. If you haven't already. Thank you so much for watching. I love you guys and I hope to see you in my next video

Ceci L: I have such a hard time French braiding my hair.. basically whenever I take the hair that I'm adding into one of the 3 strands, it ends up getting all messy looking like a web of hair. My hair is pretty healthy, but I have a lot of hair and it's very thin. I've never successfully French braided my hair. Does anyone else struggle with this problem, and do you have any ideas to help?

Kaitlyn Reesey: I've honestly never thought of using extensions in a French braid, I soooo going to try this for work! Thanks for the tutorial<3

I have curly hair and if I try to go more than 3 months it starts to tangle and knot. I don't blow dry or use heat appliances so there's little to no damage.
