Braids are really in trend these days and in this summer 2013 hair tutorial I'll show you step by step a quick and easy braiding technique that many of you have requested. This side swept hairstyle is basically a triple wrapped ponytail and it works best on long and thick hair. It is versatile enough to adapt to any outfit. You can wear it as a casual everyday look for school/college/university/work or even for special occasions and formal events.

Hello and welcome to another hair tutorial, follow your requests recreate this I Cajun brain today, I'll show you how to do it in a matter of minutes feel free to also check out my video on this fresh summer makeup with a subtle pop of color. As you can tell, my own hair is way too short and too thin for this hairstyle, so to be able to recreate it I'll be using my clams and hair extensions, they're attached to my own hair, with very small but secure clips for extra texture and dimension. These days, I'm using two sets of extensions one in light blonde mention my own hair and another one in dark blonde, given an effect of instant lowlights, attach them alternating the weft of different colors and making sure that the very top weft will be the one matching. You can watch my earlier tutorial on highlights and lowlights with clip in extensions now that my hair is way longer and thicker I'm going to brush it through to remove eventual tangles, then I'll split it into a thick and thin sections. I'Ll take two strands of hair from the same section and cross them over the thick section, then I'll cross them under my fixed section and again bring them to the front I'll keep on wrapping this two strands around my main section crossing them over and under it. As I go, and once I reach the ends, I tie my braid with a small elastic. Next, I grab two more strands from the thin section and wrap them around my braid in the same manner. I only make sure to cross the new strands right above the previous ones. This is exactly what's going to give us that intricate braiding pattern that we're going for. We could have already stopped here or you could continue and crisscross the two thin strands that remain so depending on whether you're going for a double or a triple crossed pattern. In the beginning, you have two section, four or six tiny strands of hair to form your initial thin section. Now this look is finished.
