Texturized Braided Hairstyle | Mother'S Day Hairstyles | Dutch Braids | Twist Me Pretty

Lately I've been obsessing over this braided hairstyle, isn't it pretty? I wore it a bunch last week and several of you asked for a tutorial -- so here it is. In all it's texturized glory ! It's super fast and easy to style + the dutch braids keep your hair out of your face so it's great to wear with the kids or if you have a busy day ahead of you at school or work. I'll let you be the judge of when/where to wear it but it would make the prettiest hairstyle for Mother's Day... just had to throw that one out there !!

To carry hey guys over here welcome back to my channel, so today's tutorial we're going to be doing this really pretty braided hairstyle and, as you can see it very well lots of texture, really big bouncy curls and I am so excited to be partnering with kenra. They actually are coming out with a new product line. This is the grip collection and you guys are going to be all the steps of it. So it's basically product that helps. You add texture so that you can grip your braids and your updos better, and I'm really excited to show you guys how to use it so make sure to subscribe below and let's get started, we're going to start off by curling our hair and I'm just taking Small sections and curling them with a one-inch one. You want to make sure that you're going away from your face and then I actually like to leave out the ends so that the curls way nicer and then just take a layer of hair at a time. And then, when I reach my ears, I'm just going to be throwing in a weft of extensions. These are laced hair extensions and I love them. They'Re super comfortable to wear the hair is really beautiful and the colors blend just really nicely. So you literally cannot tell that you're wearing extensions, so then you're just going to brush through all the curls with a paddle brush and add a couple of curls on top and then we're going to be using some of Kendra's ere grip spray. Five, this spray is ultra lightweight. It'S not going to weigh the hair down at all, and it's just going to add definition and volume to the hair has a really flexible, hold and not finished. This is seriously hands-down my favorite product right now. You guys it just gives the hair such a pretty texture. I love spraying it into my curls and it's perfect for braiding, so I like to spray directly onto the hair and then also I like to spray them onto my fingers almost as if that were all made before I start so split the hair down the center And then we're going to take a small section from the front to bio, section industry and then we're going to be doing a Dutch braid. So the top strand is going to go underneath the center and then the bottom strand is going to go underneath the center strand. Now we're going to add new sections of the hair to each side so add in a new section of hair to the top strand and braid it underneath the middle strand and then add in a new section of hair to the bottom strand and braid it under The middle strand and then we're just going to repeat these steps until we get to the back of our head, I'm going to be adding a single left for a link, don't worry if they show, because when we pull apart our braid at the end, it's going To cover the weft up so just continue braiding down as if nothing ever happened. You want to make sure that you're, not adding hair, will be below your temples. You want to keep the line of the braid pretty high, so just keep braiding all the way down and when you reach the back of your head, you're going to finish, the braid is just a regular three strand braid. Before tying it off we're just going to pull apart the braids so that it looks nice and big. So I like to hold the bottom of the braid with one hand, pretty tight and then with the other, I'm just gently tugging on the sections that full of them up and then you're just going to secure the braid with a clear elastic. I'M going to be using the high group spray 20. This is just going to give the braid a really pretty definition in texture. It'S seriously like a miracle spray for braids. It just keeps all those pieces where you want them. So if you have issues with like sections from your fishtail braid or whatever falling out, use this right, you're going to love it and then we're just going to repeat on the other side right here, I'm spraying the airgroup spray onto the braid. Before I pull it out so that none of the pieces fall just gives me extra grip on the hair and then, if you can tell I'm just gently pulling on those sections, just one section at a time make sure you pull enough of the hair out that It stretches and pulls that braid, but not so much that the braid actually starts falling out again and finishing off with the high grip spray 20, and I actually really love to put it in the curls to kind of scrunch them up a little bit. And this is a lightweight spray, so it's not going to weigh the curls down by any means, but it's just going to add a really pretty definition and texture to your style. So this is the final look. I love this hairstyle, some of my favorites and then for those of you that have stuck around. I want to show you one more way I like to wear these braids you're just going to pull the braids up and out of the way and then put your curls into a ponytail and then you're going to release the clip and crisscross the braid. So the braid on top you're, going to wrap all the way around the ponytail until you run out of hair and then you're just going to secure it on the bottom by adding another clear elastic to the ponytail, that's all I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed this video make sure to give it a thumbs up if you did and then please combine me over on Instagram at twisty pretty or you can always find me on my blog at twisting pretty awesome.
