How'S It Holding Up? | Isioma Box Braid Wig! | 4 Month Update | Citi Beauty World

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today I have a very quick four month update on this box, great wig, that I bought from City Beauty world back in November. So I'm just gon na just tell you guys like how I feel about it and things that I've noticed. If you follow me on Instagram and you watch my IG stories, you've already seen me talking about this wig and if you don't follow me on Instagram following me, yet I fancy cupcakes. I bought this wig back at the end of October and I reviewed it in November this week. I think it costs like two to 3232 or something like that. That includes the DHL shipping. The shipping is about thirty thirty dollars or something thirty-three dollars. Yeah and the wig came really fast, but if you want to know specifics, I have like a like a very detailed. I have a very detailed, like original review that you guys can watch I'll put that on the info card, for you guys, but so a lot of my wigs. I do not wear them like all the time. So, that's why I don't do updates, and sometimes I do updates just because that's what I'm obligated to do with certain companies, but with this one. This is not sponsored or anything. I bought this on my own and this one is just a wig that I wear on days, where I'm not doing we reviews this is in my rotation, like I have a rotation of wigs that I wear when I'm you know running errands or I just really Enjoy wearing them, this one right here is: what's on my favorite weeks of 2018 and I've been wearing it for the past three days consistently, and I really love this wig. This is, this is one of the best investments I made with a wig prior to buying this week in November. There was a like to your stretch of time where I didn't have any great at weeks with reviews on my channel, because a lot of rated wigs, that from well-known synthetic brands, like sensational or or whatever those weeks, tend to look pretty good, but usually in the Back they look pretty unnatural or they'll have filler hairs or they're just not well made. Some of them are nice and I have seen some really nice ones from I think sensational, but I haven't tried them, but I feel like the weeks that you can buy the more high-quality weeks that you can buy from African, braiders and stuff, like that. I feel like they're just overall just better, so I'm probably not going to be buying any of the ones that come from the well-known synthetic brands unless I'm just trying to help. You guys decide on which one is the best. But these are amazing and this particular company - I can vouch for them, because I bought this one on my own and then I have Mandy de that I reviewed I think last month and it was very nice as well. I'M probably gon na be selling Mandy de just because I really like this one more. I like the versatility of being able to put this up in a ponytail if I want to, but because that is a cornrow style, braid braid it wig. I can only do so much with that one very pretty and it's probably gon na be in my next week. Sale, I'm still getting that together for you guys this is braid. It really well and tight. So you guys know even with braids, since you actually get like braid it into your hair. The braids can be stiff and hard to put into different styles when you first get them and because this is a braided way, the braids always are gon na. Look like fresh braids when you first get them so um. I had to the more you wear it, the more. The less is gon na be stiff, and that's with you know, regular braids as well, so I have put it up in a high ponytail. I haven't put all the hair up because I would have to think about the back of it and depending I would have to get like one of these huge elastic stretch, bands to put it all up at time. I don't feel like this is a super full breda twig, which is perfect for people who want to put their stuff up in ponytails and stuff, because if you have a ton of braids, it's hard to put up and Bunce like it looks cute. But sometimes when you have too many braids or they're too big, you can't put them up in buns and stuff. So only kinda have about this week is the color of the lace. The lace is like a medium brown and sometimes it's a little bit hard to blend into my skin tone. So I have to constantly kind of edit the lace on the front and trim it up, because if I leave a little bit too much lace on the front, it's going to be obvious in sunlight. So since the original review I have had to trim it up. A couple of times just so it wouldn't look so obvious that it's not actual braids, but I think this looks very good and if you don't buy anything that I have ever featured on my channel, I really highly recommend that you guys check out city mini world And other braided with companies out there I feel like this is an investment you guys know. I do week, reviews for a living, and I do other things on my channel, but mainly wig reviews. So I cannot wear the same style for weeks on end because I have to do wig of use. So breaking wigs are a perfect option for me and it's it's a good option for people that don't want to put too much tension on your edges and stuff because I just have got to be glued on my edges and all you have to do was got To be glued, it's just put water like saturate, the laceless water and it'll, lift up without damaging your edges. So and you don't have to sit for nine hours, sometimes eight or nine hours, and I have to deal with the pain and everything of tight braids and everything. So I feel like gradient. Wigs are perfect um. Now, if I was going on a vacation like - and I was gon na be in water and stuff, I would opt for actual braids, because this is gon na lift if you saturate your whole head in water, this wig is gon na come off. So if I was going on vacation, I would get like actual braids and not wear braids. It wig, but I don't go on vacation all the time and I'm not swimming on a continual basis. So yeah, and one last thing I wanted to mention one last thing I wanted to mention: you guys see this thick elastic here and I have shown you guys this, because I used the elastic band method inside of my wigs to get a better fit. So I was watching mist naturally marry and you guys may know her. She is a beautiful youtuber. She has a great channel. I saw her. Do a wig review a human hair like frontal video application, video and she you know how I some people put like the silk scars on the front of their wigs Wow. So they can like melt the lace into their scalp or whatever, but she used elastic instead and it was her. Lace was blending in so well. So I was like I'm gon na try that with my braid at wig and I did and it had the legs super flat like even on the sides. I have some lifting right now because I've been wearing this, like literally for a day now, but this side is super flat. The lace is not coming up, so I just had it all around the perimeter and then this has that stretch. It has a really good stretch: the silk scarves. Don'T have the secure like firm stretch and hold like this does so I really like using this opposed as opposed to the silk scarf, so I'm probably gon na be using this with my frontal wix's will. So that's just a tip I learned from her and I'm gon na be implementing that. Like every time I wear wigs and stuff now yeah that was my 4 month update on this box. So far, I've only tried this company and I just bought a full, lock wig from Annelise real. I haven't tried: I've tried that wig on one time, but I haven't like cut the lace and stuff that review is coming up soon because that's another week that I bought myself so um look out for that.
