I Bought A Braided Wig From Etsy! Hit Or Miss?| Etsy Hair Review

Hey um, welcome or welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, lubisi, and i'm back at you guys with a new video today and this video is actually going to be a wig review, but not just any old wig. First of all, it's from etsy! If you didn't know, etsy makes tons of wigs well, not etsy itself, but different sellers on etsy make a whole bunch of wigs some affordable, some on the higher priced end. But still you could find so many different wigs like wigs that you'd be looking for on aliexpress. You could find on etsy, so these past couple of weeks, i've actually been really into cornrow, wigs like for some reason, i'm just like oh cause. For me, i don't know if this happens to anyone else, but i stopped getting cornrows when i was like a little girl and cornrows with extensions not like with my own hair, just because my hair used to bruise bleed blister all those stuff, bbb, okay, bruce bleed And blister um, and so i just stopped all together, and so i haven't really had cornrows like extensions since i was a little kid like i said so when i found out like they make wigs like that, and some of them are really like top tier wigs. I was like oh now's, my chance to be a cornrow girl again, okay, like i'm, seeing everyone with their lemonade, braids and stuff like that, and i'm just like. I can't do that. I'Ma stop rambling and i'm gon na show you guys the way that i got so i was searching and i saw that a lot of the wigs like especially the cornrow, wigs or the braided wigs their prices would go from like 140 and up and for me, I'M, like man, that's really expensive, so i came across a seller. Um called fabiolax. I don't know how to pronounce that right, um, but it's f-a-b-u-o-l-a-x so fabulox she sells like um different uh braided wigs. I think she had about three on her page and so the one that i saw it was kind of like what i was looking for um and it was like 22 inches long and the price was 98. So that's what got my eye. I was like. Oh 98, so it was on like the lower end of like the prices and that's what i like. So i decided to order it it took about, i think, a week and a half or two weeks to come. So let me show you guys. I have it right here, yes, so this is a wig um, and this is the name you guys can see. Fabulox beauty, um yeah. So this is the cornrow wig um and the lace is a little wet just because i sprayed my lace tint on there. Cornrows up front, so it's supposed to be worn like as a side part, so there's cornrows up front some to the side and then in the back as well, um and the lace. I think it's about like a four by four lace. So it's not! It doesn't go from ear to ear, um and yeah on the inside. There are no combs just um adjustable straps like one here and then one on the other side. So right off the bat when i got this wig, oh and then also it's kind of layered with the cornrow, so you can see yeah so off the bat when i got this wig. The first thing that i noticed um was the back so right now you can't tell, but if i were to lift up the back like let's say i want to like do a different type of style. With this wig there's like a whole bunch of gaps in between which, if i had known, i probably wouldn't have gotten it like. This is the side yeah um, but i guess you get what you pay for. I still like it um. I tried it on before. Um just to see like how long it was this is 22 inches and it reaches like down my back, i'm like five six, so it reached down my back. It comes with baby hairs. I don't know if you can see it up front so i'll. Take that out, once i put it on um but yeah, you guys are going to watch me install this wig um disclaimer. I am not one of them beauty, gurus, that you see um. I don't really lay down waves and slay it like that. I just make sure that it looks good on me and as long as it looks good on me, i keep it pushing so stay tuned and we gon na get into it see right off the bat i could already tell so before i keep going. Let me stop and speak so right off the bat um with braided wigs. I know a lot of people don't like them, because they say that it looks fake and that's usually due to the part like the scalp um. So what i've discovered is that usually with braided wigs, especially cornrow, wigs the less scalp that shows the better that it looks so this when i saw it online. I didn't know that the parting would be this wide looking at it right now, i'm kind of like oh, this looks fake, like you know, someone's gon na be able to tell right off the bat like. So that's my first con with this, but we're gon na keep it pushing we're gon na make it do what it do and from the back. I could already tell like. Let me turn in, i feel like i could tell that like the wig cap is showing it just feels like super thin, like i was saying with the braids. I don't even know what it looks like right now, but i can feel that it looks crazy. So just gon na keep it like this for now. Okay, all right, i'm done it's right now, i'm messing with y'all. Oh you guys are probably like what in the world like what is wrong with this girl so see. This is what i get for: making fun of people's baby hairs like some of the youtube videos. I watch um when people do their baby hairs, i'm like oh, no um, and you see god don't like ugly. This is this is what i get i'm getting. Some struggle baby hairs because i was making fun of other people's baby hairs. Forgive me, lord. I'M sorry, okay, that's a little better, i'm just gon na what is this come on man, okay, going in with the moose one more time, i'm gon na cut it off, but keep playing with me. I'M gon na cut it off like it's a bad kid. Okay, i'm gon na just soak it underneath i ain't got time and obviously, if it didn't clump together um, it wouldn't look as like. You know like that in the front, but it is what it is. We don't keep it pushing for the sake of the video okay did the best. I could guys, okay and now to work on this holy situation. Um i'm gon na go in with my translucent part translucent setting powder or my setting powder. Sorry, i got this one. It'S elf um, it's in the color deep and i'm gon na see if it could help get rid of some of these lines. Hopefully it didn't make it worse. I am not a fan of these baby hairs and i know y'all probably aren't either but listen. We have to work with what we got so take this out, and now i'm just gon na go in with some mousse i'm using the lotta body. Mousse, just like you know, set it as if i just got my hair done. I'M also gon na put some in my hand and apply it to the ends. Okay, make sure everything is good, okay and voila. I wish i didn't wear a dark shirt and you guys could see it better, but yeah guys. This is the end. Result turn to the side, turn to the other side, turn to the back, and let me stand up so you can see how long it is like. I said this is 22 inches and it comes down here so yeah after, like you, know, finessing and finagling it. Besides my like lumpy braids, this is actually really cute guys. This is so cute, my bad for being skeptical at first fabiolox. If you're watching this, i'm sorry i apologize. But yes, okay, the only thing like i said the parting, but i mean listen. Would i like dinner parting yeah, but i bought it like this, i'm keeping it so and i'm definitely wearing it. So yeah guys this is cute and it moves. Oh okay, i'm feeling myself um yeah, so my overall review out of a 10. I would give this honestly, i would give it like a 7 or 8 out of 10. um, like i said because of the parting in the back, like i said, i haven't seen what it looks like with the actual wig and the wig cap on. So i'm just like parting it for you guys, so you could see what it looks like um and then for the parting. You know, that's why i would give it like a seven or eight, but like the length it's pretty it's it's nice. I like it. The braids she took her time and she made them nicely and, like i said on this end, oh you can see my wig cap on this end. You part it this way. You know she did the double layers, so that's nice, um, yeah and then the price 98 compared to a whole bunch of other cornrow, wigs or braided wigs. It'S definitely cheap and affordable for anyone who wants to try it so yeah um. This is my review of this cornrow braided wig that i got from etsy um. I will leave the link to her store down in the description box below um. Just keep in mind. I don't think she makes these in bulk. So if you do want to get this same exact one um, you could tell her and like reference, my video, so she could see okay yeah, so it's actually the next day um. My sister-in-law actually had a good suggestion for the part she said to fill it in with like eye pencil or something. So i grabbed my eye pencil and i tried to like fill in along the parting just to like close the gap a little. So it looks a lot better, so let's see yeah. So i like it a lot better now with the clothes gap. Still you can still tell it's like the lace, but it looks a lot better with the closed gap. So let me look down but yeah guys.
