From Black To Ginger Wig Install | Hair Transformation | Beauty Forever Hair

Hey y'all: what's up welcome back the rudeness like y'all know, i'm working, hey y'all! What'S up welcome back to my channel, my name is alexis. If you are new here, hey girl and if you return insist what it do baby, what it do, because i see you all the time. Okay, i see you often you always here girl so for today's video, i'm gon na be showing you guys how i got this cute color. Well, i didn't do the color myself, but the install and the styling, and all of that it just looks so good. Y'All know i do not wear color. I do not do this, but i love this hairstyle, it's so cute. So let's get right into it all right, y'all, jumping it straight into the video. Let'S go ahead and get our hair done girl because i'm looking a hot mess and i don't know about y'all, but when my hair is done. I just feel like i'm that girl, like, even if i don't have makeup on, i feel like i'm just that girl. It'S something about just having your hair done, so i'm just going to go ahead and braid my hair into one plaque going straight back. This is perfect for anybody who, if you don't know how to braid girl, just braid it into a straight back. Okay and just call it a day, i know how to braid, but i was just too lazy so braid it is okay, one little braid and then once i have that all done. We'Re gon na work on the hairline i feel like the hairline is, like the most important part other than the braids, because, obviously, if you have a great foundation, your wig will lay flat but um, because it was a curly wig. It didn't really matter if it lays flat, because it's curly so you're not going to really see the bumps in them anyway, but y'all this edge control. Why i'm not at all thirty thousand of y'all, because why did y'all not tell me that this edge control was this bomb? This is the sweetie um and kiss edge control. This stuff is fire. So after i applied that to my hairline, i'm just gon na go ahead and just take some alcohol, because if you don't put alcohol on your forehead, your wig is not gon na lay down, so we're gon na. Do that and then i'm going in with these silk and mist sheer tights now i know people use you know just the regular cap or whatever the case may be, but i love these because they are so thin. This is actually not the right one. There'S one! That'S even thinner than this, and i'm obsessed with it, because it just makes the process so much easier when it comes time to putting on the bald cap, i feel like the um, the ones that everybody are using. That sounds so weird, the ones that everybody is using. I feel like those like cotton ones, they're they're a little too thick for me and i just feel like it makes it harder to blend around my hairline, especially because i don't really wear wigs like that. I'M you know just now getting into the wig game or whatever so um. Once i put my stocking cap on, i'm just gon na go in and just cut out the eyes cut out the ears and all of that good stuff and then we're gon na start melting, this bad boy down. Another thing that i want to note when you're doing your stocking cap, pull it all the way down. You don't want to have that little that little condom piece looking at the top of your head, so pull it all the way down. That way, you don't have nothing sticking out at the top, and it'll also make your wig like flatter. So i'm just going in with this even freeze spray. This one is okay. I truly prefer the black one. The black one is like girl. That'S like glue in a bottle: okay, like in a spray bottle form, so i'm just going to apply this all over my hairline and just put my blow dryer on a cool setting until it gets dry. You do not want to cut this off when your wig cap is not dry, because all it's going to do is just roll back so make sure it is completely dry before you start cutting so um yeah, because i've made that mistake a billion times and it Just it just never turns out. Well you end up having to use a whole nother, bald cap, so i'm just gon na go in and just cut all of that off with these janky scissors. Okay, i'm going to the store today to get some new scissors. So you just want to cut all of that ball cap off, be careful to not cut yourself, because if you cut yourself girl, that's a whole nother problem. So after i did all of that, you want to blend your ball cap in with your scalp. I truly prefer to use foundation because, as you can see, you can still see my hair through it like the black, but i feel like doing all of that, because i know i wasn't going to be wearing this wig for long and i didn't want to have Foundation on my hair - it's just i don't know it's something about that that i just don't really like, so i just use a little bit of bronzer and we're going to go in with the boathold honey and just melt her down this wig. Oh my god. Let me just talk about the lace. Do y'all see that, like the lace is pretty much non-existent, you cannot see the lace. I haven't wore a wig in so long. So when i put this on my head, i was shook like look at that crazy. Oh another thing i forgot to let y'all know is: i tried filming this video before, which is why the lace is already cut. This is a brand new wig. I'Ve never worn it. I tried filming this before and i just couldn't figure it out. I was just you know, scared and worried about the color, so i just took it off because it didn't look right, but then i came back better than eva, and here we are so i'm just making sure that everything fits and it's matching my hairline perfectly. You want to do this before you apply any glue, because that just makes your job harder. So yeah i'm just applying my glue and that's about it um if you're watching right now and you have not hit that subscribe button, make sure you subscribe and follow me on instagram. So a little trick that i learned when doing my glue is i like to go back and forth. So i know a lot of people just like to pull their glue down, but i like to go up as well like go back because i feel like um. It'S getting under the cap, like you know the little cap part that's rolled up. If you go down and then go back up, you're getting it under the rolled up part, so it helps it lay down flat and it just works out so much better for me. So if you have a hard time like making your bald cap, seamless definitely try that, because once i did that it was like a complete game changer, so i'm gon na go in and apply three layers and then we're gon na lay our wig down okay. So i just wanted to explain this part right here, so i know you guys only see me putting glue in the middle, but i like to do it in sections, but i forgot that my wig was already cut, so i couldn't do it in sections. So i went ahead and put three layers around the whole hairline and now we're about to lay it down. This is the most tedious part. Do not, i repeat, do not let that lace touch that glue until you are absolutely sure that is where you want to lay it, and if you do lay it down, don't press it down like you see how now i'm going in to press it down after I looked and decided like. Okay, that's where i wanted to go, because once you press it down until the glue baby is stick. If it's up, then it's stuck okay, it's already stuck and you're not going to be able to move it at all. So make sure the placement is exactly where you want and try not to touch it too. Much with your fingers, i mean i don't really care, but you know if you care, you want your wig to last a long time. Try not to touch it too much with your fingers, because your fingers has oil and again oil and glue does not make so i'm just laying it down and y'all. This wig is so bomb like i was shook. The lace didn't need nothing done. I did not bleach this wig. I did not do anything to it at all. I literally just put it on my head. Okay, so then you want to take a rat tail comb and i'm just pressing that lace into the glue. This helps but you're still going to need to um tie your front down with an elastic band. I just feel like that is the only way to get it like super duper melted, so i'm just kind of helping the process a little bit, but yeah. That'S pretty much all i'm doing you, it's really not going to change anything. You just want to make sure that everything is kind of melted and in place, and then i'm going to go in and put on my elastic. The lace on this wig just looks so good, it's a little shiny, but that's because the glue is still drying. So then, what i did is i just went in and just felt to see where there's any like sticky spots. So i just took some alcohol and just kind of like cleaned that up a little bit and when you're cleaning it up, you want to go in a downward like a downward swiping motion. Like you see me doing, like don't, go in and like go in circular motions or go back or anything like that, you want to go down because you don't want to lift up the lace at all. So once you have all that completed, go ahead and put your um elastic band on. I got this one from walmart and i left it long on purpose because i just feel like when it's longer it makes it easier to work with. I feel like when your elastic band is short, it's kind of hard to like tie it and get a grip, so i just make sure that i leave it long because it just you know, makes the process that much easier for me. So, after about 30 minutes, i'm gon na go ahead and take it off and baby okay. Let'S just talk about this. Look at this hairline, like oh, my god, beauty forever did that this hairline is bomb. You really can't even see the hairline at all and i'm so freaking obsessed with this, like i need this wig in every color, so beauty forever. Okay, i need this wig in black. I need it in brown blonde. All of that, because this lace is immaculate. I'M obsessed with the lace, it is perfect girl. It was bomb like y'all need to go, get this wig because it is bomb, and i like the color, because although it's a ginger, it's not like an overwhelming color like it still feels like a natural color. You know what i'm saying like it's not like boom, like in your face like red right fire go, get this wig so right here, you guys should see me going in and i'm just straightening the hair. I thought i wanted to wear it straight. So i'ma just straighten the hair and i'm gon na let y'all watch it and then i'm gon na come back and then we're gon na talk. Okay, so okay, so right here, as you guys, can see i'm just kind of filling in. I straightened the hair and i just wasn't feeling it you could see it all. On my face, i'm just like i'm mentally checked out, it's not working for me. I did not like it straight. I didn't like it straight so i went in and i started using my spray bottle and i'm like girl, this ain't enough, this ain't working for me, i'm gon na, be here all day trying to curl trying to put water on all his hair. So i went off camera and i um wet my entire head and now i'm just going in around the hairline and like at the roots and just putting water all on it, and when i tell y'all i fell in love with this when it was wet babies. Okay, is this wig wet this wig curly? Oh baby, this wig is fire, so i'm just going in and just spraying all of my hair and then we're going to apply some mousse. Once you put that mousse on there baby girl it's over okay, y'all. I know we've been doing voice over this whole time, but i kind of let me move my chair up just a little bit there. We go, i kind of want to talk so i tried straightening this hair and it got straight, but it because it's curly hair. It didn't get bone straight. The way that i wanted to, and i tried my dyson and i tried this random straightener and it just did not work and i wasn't liking it. So i'm like i'ma just stop and i'm just add some water and stuff to it. But the scalp honey get into the scalp like no baby hairs. No, nothing! The scalp on this wig is fire, so i'm gon na just go in with some um lotta body, and i'm going to just kinda define my curls with this and then i'm gon na diffuse it with my dyson. You can use any blow dryer. This is just what i'm choosing to use, because it's the only blow dryer that i have so yeah, but you see how the curls look so much more defined when you add the lava body by me, okay, but i have never had ginger hair before so yeah. I'M excited i i like it, but i'm uncomfortable with it, but i also think it's because my makeup's not done so i'm gon na do my makeup first and everything before i, you know tell y'all like how i really feel i love the hair. It'S not about the hair. The quality of this hair is amazing, like even though i'm doing all of this i'm getting minimal, shedding. It'S not really um affecting me or anything like that. I'M not really having no hard time so i'ma just go ahead and do this. My microphone is not on damn. I know this probably sound like trash all right, y'all. We are done with the hair and the makeup. Okay, i just threw some earrings on. I like this shirt with this outfit, so i'm going to keep it on because the hair is kind of doing a lot, so we don't really want the outfit to be too much. Okay, not too much not too much. So i really love it. I'M a little bit uncomfortable. I am not going to lie to y'all because you know if you've been watching me for a minute sis. You know i do not wear color okay, so this is way out of my comfort zone and i got ta leave the house in this. Look because i got ta go get a wax, so i'm gon na let y'all know how that goes, but yeah. Thank you.
