10 Easy Hairstyles For Curly Hair - Summer 2020 ✨

Hi guys it's lana here, welcome back to lana summer summer time in today's video, i'm gon na be showing you some of my favorite hairstyles that i've been seeing while i'm out and about around london also online on places like instagram and tic top. So if you've seen these as well - and you were wondering how you can do it on your hair - well, i'm going to show you how i do it on my naturally curly hair and hopefully that helps you out a little bit. It'S really really hot in this room right now guys. Why is it so hot in here? And i've got two lights on me, but i've got the window closed right now, while i'm talking because it's really noisy outside, but i think i'm gon na have to open the window, which means i might have to jump to a voiceover. So i really hope you don't mind. I haven't actually decided how many hairstyles i'm gon na do yet, but i'm thinking of maybe like eight or nine, hopefully ten, so that we can round it off at a nice round number. But please just keep in mind that i am literally about to do about ten hairstyles back to back, so if they don't look as sleek and perfect as they could, then that's the reason why, on this channel, i'm always talking hairstyles, hair care, beauty and lifestyle. So you don't miss my uploads when i upload also get me on instagram for all of the blessings and the breakdowns and let's get into the video for this first one all you're going to need to do is tidy up your edges, so i'm using this little Edge brush that i got from amazon, i finally upgraded from a toothbrush. You guys this one has an edge brush and a little comb on one side. Then i also part my hair, so it's looking kind of neat. You can do it to the side or in the middle and then you're going to want to chalk on a headband. So i have some from this brand. It'S a lovely little satin floral number, but i also have some from my brand, which is hedgy and i feel like this whole headband vibe fits into so many trends like the lux trend. Like my head shoes, my brand look at that, but also the y2k trend. Picnic-Ish naughties headbands were a vibe and they're a vibe now so the next one kind of carries on with that 2000s vibe, i'm gon na make a bandana out of this satin hair scarf mine is a bit too big, so i'm just going to make it smaller By folding it in half diagonally twice, and then i have my little bandanna and all i'm going to do is flip my head over and then tie this at the back push it back slightly tidy it up and get it looking how i want it. I love this. I think it's so versatile, it's great for the summertime, because it protects your hair and your scalp from the sun. It can look boho, it can look really picnic-esque and it really carries that 2000s vibe with it as well, for the next one i'm taking this little brush and i'm going to brush half of my hair back just behind my ear and then i'm actually going to Pin that down with some bobby pins, i find that it works best if you use bobby pins first before you take your big decorative clip, so i'm using this one, i think it's like a leopard print and i'm gon na slide that down onto my hair, i Feel like it works best if you slide it downwards, so that the chunky part is at the top with this hairstyle, it took me a long time to realize that it looks best when you can't really see the hair clip from the front. It'S only really meant to be seen from the side, so that was like really difficult for me to wrap my head around because i was like, but i can't see it and then i learned i was like lana. This is not about you. This is about all the people that have to look at your hairstyle, but of course it's all personal preference so where how have you like it, but that's how i like it the next one might be my favorite so tell me, which one is your favorite in The comment section down below so i'm separating my hair, so i have half on top and i've left my fringe out. I'M gon na brush everything so that it's very sleek and i'm gon na tie that with a hair tie. I use these satin hair ties, which are also from my brand and then with my fringe. I don't want to leave it like that, so i just spray it with my little water bottle. Everything that i use is always linked down below by the way, and then i just finger coil it, because i want these curls to look really perfect. My friend actually calls these, like my insect antennae is how you say it my little bug eyes when i have my hair like this, but i like it. I think it's cute, it's actually my favorite one, so i just wrap that around my finger so that the curls come out absolutely perfectly. I leave it to dry, i'm going to take some styling gel. Any styling gel will do, but i'm going to use this one from alberto balsam and i'm going to tidy up the rest of my hair, lay down my edges again properly and make sure everything looks really sleek, because that's just how i like to wear this look And then, to finish this off completely i'm going to take another piece of hair from the ponytail i'm going to wrap it around the hair tie so that you can't see it. I think this really helps to finish off the look and make it look absolutely perfected. So you can kind of tuck this in or you can pin it in, but that's it and that's a look. This next look carries that same theme of that off-duty model, fringe kind of thing, the curtains, the pieces of hair coming down, but instead of doing a half up, half down, i'm going to bring all of my hair up into a high bun and everything's going to Look very sleek because i'm brushing it all upwards and i'm going to tie that with my little satin hair tie again from my brand head she and then i'm just going to wrap it around itself. It'S my favorite way to make a bun. It'S really easy and i either kind of just tuck it in or i use bobby pins to secure that this is my favorite type of bun. That i do, i feel, like my bun, looks perfect every time when i do it like this, i'm going to use more of that gel i'm going to use that on the back. This definitely looks best if you make sure that the back is done as well, and that's that look tell me if you prefer this or the half up, half down. Okay, we're moving away from the bug and turn high fringe and now we're doing something completely different. So i'm gon na take a quite large chunk of hair on either side of my head and i'm going to do a two-strand twist with it i'm going to try and keep it as chunky as i can and then i'm going to do the other side as Well and when they're done i'm going to take some of these gold hair, beads and just decorate it, this has been and always will be the ultimate summer style, and you can leave it like that or you can put some of your hair back. You can put some of your hair into a bun. You can do a little half up. Half down. You can bring the pieces back any way you like it. You can do it with this hairstyle. It'S really cute for the next hairstyle i'm going to shake all of that out and i'm doing a really basic half up half down top knot style, so we're not going to have any fringe just sleekness and edges. Taking more of that gel i'm gon na make sure everything looks really sleek when i do this once again, i'm taking another piece of hair from the ponytail and i'm gon na wrap that around the hair tie, so that everything looks really neat and tidy and finished Properly, when i do my edges, i like to do these little swoopies like this and that's the look and i'm not sure if i prefer it with or without a fringe for this look, but either way i love doing a half up half down, and this is Definitely one of my all-time favorite hairstyles. This next hairstyle is great for when you feel like the tops of your hair, have gotten really stretched out, maybe from pineappling your hair or just other bun hairstyles, and where your hair is tied up. So i'm just going to take a section of my hair from the front and i'm going to spray it down, i'm going to spray it down and brush it through for the rest of my hair, i'm just going to brush it all to one side and tie It with my little satin hair, thigh satin hair ties are my favorite, because they don't cause snacks, they don't cause breakage and they cause less kinks. In my opinion, as well and for this hair that we left out, i'm just gon na brush it so that it's really sleek and then i'm gon na bring it underneath the ponytail and i'm gon na wrap that around the hair tie in the same way that I'Ve been wrapping hair around the hair tie in the other hairstyles as well, so i'm just spraying my hair wet and i'm going to use some curl activating lotion and some cold gel. This one is from only curls and that's just to try and revive my curls. I'M doing it right now, because i've tried so many hairstyles back to back, but obviously that is what i would be doing if i were doing this hairstyle on a normal day. I would also be wanting to kind of rejuvenate my curls and that's how i would do it. The next hairstyle is a really simple adaption of that, so i'm gon na do my classic twisted bun to one side. This one looks so classy, but i feel like it can be adapted to be like picnic classy park, classy, stratford classy. You know you just want to go out for dinner. You want to go to all-star lanes wherever you're going. This looks cute all you're going to need to do is just tidy up your edges a little bit and just make sure everything still looks sleek and perfected. If you want to try the next hairstyle then take all of this down. I'M trying to take my hair down right now, but i keep finding bobby pins look at this another one. I thought i was done with the bobby pins, another one, a noble one for this next hairstyle. Is you guessed it another half up? Half down? I love half up half downs they're, my favorite hairstyles of all time and best believe i have a million variations of them, so this one i'm taking my hair up like this, we're keeping it sleek, but we're just using that piece of hair from the front. This is kind of like the ariana grande style version and i'm brushing that sleek and i'm going to take it around to the back of my head. Underneath the rest of my hair and i'm gon na, pin it there with a bobby pin or a clip. Whatever feels most secure and comfortable to you and then i just flip all my hair back down - and you cannot tell nobody knows - and i love that hairstyle - i have my hair in a grande moment.
