During the summer time i've been having my hair in twists and ponytails. I haven't really been wanting to have it down a lot, because it's so hot and humid so comment down below how you typically wear your hair and let's get into these hairstyles. So the very first thing, of course, before we make sure our hair looks cute, is that we make sure our hair is hydrated and moisturized, so i'm going to be using the aveda nutraplenish leave-in conditioner. What i love about this whole line is that it's silicone free. It'S cruelty free and it's a hundred percent vegan, i'm gon na spray, this all over my hair - and this is a lightweight liquid spray and it provides 72 hours of hydration. This is also perfect for the summertime because it has sand ginger in it, which is a naturally derived uv filter which helps to protect against the drying effects of the sun, because we don't want our hair getting damaged from the sun. The sun can damage your hair. It'S not just flat irons and chemicals. The sun can also damage your hair, and this daily moisturizing treatment also does the same thing. This daily moisturizing treatment is ideal for very dry hair like i have. It has eight times the oils and butters compared to the leave-in conditioner that i previously used and also this is more of a cream consistency, whereas the leave-in conditioner is a liquid. So now i'm gon na be parting. My hair and i'm gon na do a zigzag part. So now that we have the part i mean as y'all can see, it doesn't have to be perfect. Now that my hair is parted, i'm just going to brush it back then i'm going to take a hair tie with hooks on the end highly recommend. You find some of these now i'm going to use the curl gelate, and this is actually my favorite product out of this line. It'S really really moisturizing and it helps to define my curls and also smooth it out. It doesn't give you any crunch at all, so you definitely don't have to worry about that and it's so so hydrating, because my hair gets really dry in the summer time. You guys can see it smoothed out my hair a lot now i'm going to be taking this. I think it's called a banana clip and i'm going to add a little bit more of the delay so that i can smooth my edges. Y'All know. I can't forget this step, but i'm not going to do too much. You guys know that i love doing my edges, but i'm not going to do too much, because i want this style to look really simple. Curls are protected and hydrated. My hair feels so soft right now and, as you can see, it's very shiny so now, let's get into the next hairstyle for the summertime. So for this next hairstyle i sectioned off this chunk of hair and we're gon na do a rubber band hairstyle. Now i'm gon na section this out of the way, then i'm gon na put a yellow rubber band around it. Now i'm just going to do the same exact thing to the next round brush that part and then i'm going to grab the opposite piece. So this side and bring it over here so it'll be like a crisscross. I only did a crisscross right here and then for these two, i'm just going straight back, so you can wear your hair all down like this, but told y'all. I don't like having my hair down in the summer time, so i'm gon na do two buns. Another bomb thing about this leave-in conditioner is that it can double as a heat protectant and it actually protects hair from breakage due to heat styling up to 450 degrees. Now i'm going to take the curl delay again and use this to smooth my hair out. Now, i'm actually going to take this up. You can see just how smooth this delay gets my hair. So i love this because my hair doesn't just look shiny and soft. It actually is super hydrated and really really moisturize like i can feel just how soft it is, and you guys know health is super important to me.
