10 Fall/Winter Curly Hairstyles With Satin Accessories | Lana Summer

Hey guys it's Lani, and today I am going to show you guys some of my favorite for / autumn / winter hairstyles, and I felt like using a ton of accessories when I did these hairstyles, because I don't usually accessorize and I've been loving it like these. So I've been using caps and beanies and hats and scrunchies and all kinds of things to try and create some really interesting looks which I really hope that you guys enjoy. I always make sure that all of my hair accessories, like especially this beanie and my cat and my scrunchies, that I'm using in this video, I always make sure that anything like that that I'm using has got a satin lining. Having a satin lining. Basically, just means that your hair is going to be protected from friction or anything like that, so it's going to reduce breakage. So all of these that I am showing you today are from satin lined caps. I will link them in the description up below, so you can check those out if you want to let's get stuck here so for the first look, I am going to take all of my hair into a silk scrunchie, a satin scrunchie actually, and I'm going to Pull all of my hair through that once and then on the second time that I pull that through, I am going to sort of leave it halfway and then this kind of creates like bit of faux bang kind of pineapple bond kind of thing. So you can take it to a side like that, and then I like to pull out some of the pieces that frame my face and I make sure that those are super cute by wrapping them around my finger and just turning them into ringlets. And then you can go ahead and even out your bangs and leave it like that. If you want to. But then I like to make it even more, even by sort of pinning a few pieces down and making sure that they are really even and then I bring it all back and just make sure that it's all centered and just you know, play with it until It looks cute and I love this style and yeah so for the next look. We are going to do a half up, half down hairstyle, so just take the first half of your hair and I'm going to wrap that really loosely and really gently. And then I'm going to place the silk scrunchie around that I love the color of this. I think it looks so festive and then I'm going to go ahead and pull out some of the pieces. That frame my face - and I just feel like this - is like a nice take on the half-up half-down, I'm pinning down the burn as well by the way and fixing my baby hairs, and that is pretty much the final neck. I just think that, with the silk scrunchie and with the curls bringing out around my face, it kind of looks like a bit more of a princess vibe. So I love it for this look. I really just wanted to try something really different and I really enjoyed it. So I hope that you guys like this one as well. So basically I am splitting my hair to one side and then with the smaller piece. I am actually just going to flip that up and I'm just going to tie that right there and I feel like it, gives my hair a lot of volume on the one side. And yes, I'm just going to take down some pieces from my baby hair. And it's like really quick and easy to do, but it kind of gives off a bit of an 80s vibe. So I hope that you guys, like that one, I'm kind of digging it for the next look. I am going to use an afro comb to make sure that I get a really straight part down the middle of my head and I am also going to use a tooth brush just to make sure that that looks extra sleek. So then, I'm going to take the top half of my hair and smooth that all down and tie it up with the silk scrunchie. And then I'm going to take the toothbrush. And I am going to brush everything forward and brush back those loose pieces of hair. Because I feel, like the whole look, looks better if everything is nice and sleek and then I'm just going to bobby pin those extra pieces in place, and that is the final look. I used the black scrunchie with this look because I just felt like it made everything, look a lot more elegant and chic for look number five. I am donning a white cap, I'm just going to put my ponytail through the back there and then tighten that up. I am using this as a different look because I completely feel like it transforms everything into more of a sport. Luxe look. I love this and it's really good for that low autumn Sun for the next look. I have taken my hair all over to one side. Again and I am going to do a cornrow down this side or you might know it as a Dutch braid, so basically you take three pieces of hair and then each time that you move a piece to one side, you grab another piece of hair. From that same side, so it goes a little bit like this for those of you that want an in-depth tutorial of how to do a braid like this. There is a video already uploaded to my channel, so I will link that down below for you. So I continued to braid that piece of hair all the way down to the end, and then it comes out looking like this and now I'm going to take that over to this side, and I am going to wrap that plat around the rest of my hair And I'm going to bunch the rest of my hair up in a really messy way and then I'm just going to tie that all together with the silk scrunchie. So I just love this look. I think it looks really nice and elegant, but it's actually really simple to do so for look number seven. I am going to leave that braid exactly where it is, and I'm going to tie up the rest of my hair, I'm using a toothbrush just to tidy everything up and make that part look really pronounced. I am also going to use that on my baby. Hairs, of course, and I'm leaving out these bits to frame my face because I love them. I think they're super cute now for this look, I'm going to keep the braid again and I'm going to take that all the way around to one side and I'm also going to take a piece from the other side and I'm going to twist those two together And then I'm going to bobby pin those in place. I feel like by itself. This is a really elegant, look and then I'm going to add my cap. This is lined with satin by the way. So I love wearing this in the autumn time, because in autumn the Sun is so low in the sky and just blinds you so I need to have a cap on so yeah. I just love this look so for this look I am going to take up the top half of my head again and I am just really loosely going to separate that and then I'm just going to tie that with the burgundy colored scrunchie and I'm not going To put it in a bun or anything, I'm just going to leave that in a ponytail and I'm going to fluff that out and make it really volumous, and I just love this is one of my all-time favorite hairstyles. So for this look I am just going to do two braids framing my face, so it is the same way as I did it before so a cornrow or a Dutch braid. However, you want to call it so that is how I'm doing this, and I am just going to take that around the frame of my face on this side and I'm going to braid it right to the ends and then I'm going to do the same on The other side now you can feel free to leave it like that if you want to, but I am going to add my beanie, which is also satin lined, and that is the final look.
