Alright guys we're going to start off today with a pearly layered haircut. I can't wait to show you guys this technique. I prepped her with a good cleansing condition, so the sectioning for this is very simple: we're, starting with a center part straight down the middle. The following sections are working off the round of the head, so you're taking a diagonal back angle, working with the round shape of the head, then I'm going to be breaking this section down into three parts. The first part you want to take everything above the parietal Ridge and pull it straight out above the nose you're gon na be creating an angle. That'S gon na make it shorter in the front and gradually get longer. As the section goes down, I'm using a point. Cutting technique to remove the hair. The next part of that section that you're gon na pick up is the middle part and the middle part is gon na, be basically everything from that parietal Ridge point leaving out the perimeter line. As you can see, I lowered my elevation, but I'm still keeping the same angle. Then you're, just gon na slide cut your perimeter to blend it in so still taking that diagonal back section that works with the round of the head working with high saturation. So what I mean by that is making sure that the hair is highly saturated with water. You can utilize something called water clips. Basically, that means that the hair is saturated enough, that it will stay in place with just the use of water and you're cutting lotion. So something else to consider is gon na, be your tension if you notice, as I'm, cutting the hair, I'm using the wide toothed side of my comb, and this is to keep my attention super super loose. You may also notice, when I'm pulling my sections out to cut them, there's almost a slight draping in the way that I'm holding it I'm holding it at the correct angle. But the slight draping is really just going to help the tension and not lose too much length for the shrinkage coming in with these different techniques. With the different points around the face is going to give us a nice strong line around the fringe and really soften up, as it connects into the rest of the haircut. So again, we're still pulling everything we're working with that round of the head pulling everything forward. Everything above the parietal Ridge, you're gon na want to pull straight out over the nose using that diagonal finger angle to really soften the edge of the fringe. I'M using point cutting to remove the hair, keeping my tension, nice and loose with that drape. Moving into the second section, I'm lowering my elevation and connecting that short to long line, then just using the slide cutting technique to connect those two sections in a soft way. Once you finish the perimeter shape, you should get something that looks like this. Next we're gon na go in and build up some texture and weight. This is my favorite technique to do on curly, hair, you're gon na take your closed scissor and you're gon na weave out sections of hair. Once you pick up the weaved section, then you're going to softly pinch and talk close those lengths so for this you're gon na continue around the head, taking sections weaving pieces with your closed scissor and then pinch and talking off the length moving into the sides. I went with a diagonal angle, I'm still weaving out the pieces and then creating those internal layers. This is what's gon na, really give our shape a lot of volume and debulk some of the ends the way we need. I love using this technique because it's a way to give our curly shape a lot of texture without compromising the fabric, follow up by cleaning up the perimeter line. So for styling, I'm going in with the kenra smoothing blowout lotion. I'M gon na be pairing that, with the diva curl ultra defining gel my absolute favorite thing to do for curly hair is cocktail products together, so I'm actually gon na be mixing those two in my hands. Trust me. These ones are safe to mix together and then I'm just shingling and scrunching it into the hair. Then I decided that I wanted to set the hair shape by twisting out the hair and using a very loose technique with the kind of sporadic sectioning. This is gon na help for a very organic feel, and this is the finished look. I am so in love with the shape and the way this came out. The curls are soft, but they're set really nicely. I hope you guys enjoyed this video thanks for watching

Megan McIntoshy: This video is dangerous for me because now I feel like I am now also an expert on this topic, when I am in fact just overly confident and in possession of sharp shears. In all seriousness, excellent tutorial, thank you

znmnky13: Great cut, well explained. That weave/pinch/top technique is very nice. I've never seen it done quite that way.

T Ortiz: Thank you sm, it’s been a long ass year and my 3c hair definitely needs an update

alicia pedersen: Thanks so much. We are in lockdown at the moment for months unable to get a haircut. I did this for my mum and she feels like a new person. Followed it exactly like you said and she has an even haircut and I had no idea what I was doing…so that says how good your video was!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!

Rita Di: I would have loved to see how the drying is done, and if there's a similar method of styling without the twisting (for when we're in a hurry) :)

Greta Geanina: Omg! This is the first time that I see my actual hair type on youtube those curls look exactly like mine now that I had it cut really short. It has grown a lot and I am currently in the “awkward phase” of hair growth lol. But these curls are 100% identical to mine ❤️ I can’t wait for it to grow a bit longer so that I can have this cut

Marlin Green: I need this woman in my life This is what I want to do in my curly hair!! But unfortunately I can't find someone to do and you can't trust just anyone!! I leave in England,if was in America I would came to you to do my hair... What a great job you did!!! Beautiful

Christie Gutierrez: This is beautiful....Id love to see this blown out as well

eurobabe: thats gorgeous!! i wish someone knew how to cut my hair like that

Beatriz Sá: This haircut was very beautiful!

zuleyka torres: I love this! This haircut it's what I've been trying to explain for the longest time so the question is. If we want to get this haircut what is it called so the stylist know what we mean anyway thanks

just an observer: Wow! Amazing result!

Joy'sCurls: With the weaving, how would you be able to get an overall consistent trim later on?

Stacy Sky: That's looks so pretty oh my gosh❤❤❤

Dan Mac: Omg beautiful! I'm jealous about mannequin

cutepoiisonn: Friggin beautiful. if my hair ever goes back to this thickness im def gonna get it done

Zoya Izotova: Perfect!!!

Yadira B.C.: I have been looking for someone to cut my hair like this but every time I ask for it they always tell me that the ends of my hair would look “stringy”.

Elaine Brasil: I loved it

Hatice Anar: Does this haircut suit the wavy hair as well?

SC: If you don’t want to lose a lot of length but want shape and weight off the top, Would this be safe to try on long hair? Nice cut btw!

Fine Curls: Just lovely! Where do you work? I would love to get a haircut from you

Ana Paula Nascimentos: Hi, I love this cut so much. I live in Brazil (unfortunately) and here in my city people don´t use it. Its my dream and i would like to try it on me. But why we only see in shorts hairs ? My hair is long, its a 2c/3a. I don't have references. Could you show us how its look like in a wavy long hair below the breasts? Pleaseeeeeeee.

La Gatita: My hair looks like the " before" and I'm a white chick. I kinda messed with my bangs that my stylist didnt cut right and it's been messed up ever since. I might be leaving my hair curly cause you cant see the uneven parts very much. Cute style I like it mine might not be this curly but I could def pull it off.

Diana F: How would this look in much longer hair? I loved It. I want to try this out. OMG. I have 3c curls. That's why I would have to do it with long hair cause I have a lot more shrinkage.

Ramona: Cute!!!

Eliana Singer: Love it. I want to ask for this at the hairdresser, what do I say? Is there a name for it?

Michaelene: Has anyone done this on them selves? I now think I could do it lmao !

A G: Where can I meet you to get a hair cut? I love this!

terry: Do you think this hair cut will look good on round face ?

Luisa Ruiz: I would have to take my head off to cut my hair and it would look that pretty. Oh wait! I would not have eyes to see it

tale teller: Can this be done on wavy hair It looks like it fits only for curly ones

YoYoLand: I want this! What do I ask for lol

booty: the mannequins curls are better than mine

zoeuy: I'M GOING TO CUT MY HAIR LIKE THIS TOMORROW WISH ME LUCK

Dee Belle: Please do my hair!!

D K: Are you teaching professionals? So many handcutting terms that a non professional would get lost in the speed in which you throw out all this information. Even a professional will get dizzy with the fast pace. You are a good haircutter!!! You could cut my hair anytime.

a rude person on the internet: What if you wanted way longer bangs?

sam: Me watching at 3am: send it ✂️

Patricia Lopez: So we're you using the first cut pieces as a guide

claudia mecucci: ❤️

elisabeth wallace: Do you happen to know any stylists in Washington that would know this cut? If so what would I ask for?

Amina Ahmed: I want hair cuts like this but I have o idea if my curls will look good in them especially since I barely style bc my conditioner and shampoo is *chef's kiss*

The Witch: YouTube my hair is finally getting long stop making me want to cut it off again

Shasta Spicer: What mannequin is this ? How can I purchase

Lori Skillman: Wishing I was the mannequin

KS🌙: I wanna cut my hair lol. Ps i hope u dont use deva curl its horrible to your hair

Israe Bouzidi: I followed your video and now I look like a Minecraft mushroom

Mrs. B: She has wavy hair, not curly. In fact you "created" the curls by finger coiling it. With curly hair you would've cut way less because of shrinkage ‍♀️

hele: love uuuuu

TheGolfster3: If you ever in Texas let me know.

Jayson Tayting: it's like bretman rock hair

SunGazer: Pray for me lol

Israe Bouzidi: You just ruin my life

Anna Raphaela Drumond: please cut my hair where r u I'm going there
