And they're completely uneven, hi guys welcome or welcome back to my channel today we're going to be cutting my hair again um again yeah again, but today i'm going to be doing something a little different, i'm going to be following mane's by mel's pigtail uh haircut tutorial To see if it'll give me like a nice haircut, this is my hair out of the shower um, but yeah. We should get going. I just put on a random t-shirt and got my scissors and let's get right into the video. So as i do this, i'm gon na be following the video i just grabbed a comb and also some hair ties. Okay, i'm gon na be putting my hair in the middle. So i think this is the middle right, yeah. Okay, my mirror is right here. So if you see me looking here, then you know why oh um yeah, that is definitely straight right. Okay, there we go so what she does with her bangs is that she kind of parts them like a triangle. So like this, just like that, okay, i finally just got it even. I guess i'm not really that good at freaking parting, my hair, i guess so what she did is that she brushed away and some pieces are gon na, fall out right and that's kind of how you're gon na cut sideways longer. So i'm just gon na trim. This basically right here, wow a hairstylist okay. Now i'm gon na go ahead and do the other side just a little time. Okay, okay, this little piece just trim. How do i trim with like okay, okay? So now i'm going to part my hair all the way to the back um. Oh, my god, my hair is getting stuck in my eyelashes. I don't know why i wore these love that, for me, okay, try to part it straight okay, so she says in the video that if you place it too, high you're gon na have a lot of layering at the top um. But if you place it in the middle you're gon na have like a nice, rounded shape, i think i'm gon na do like an intermediate of like high and middle kind of thing, because i do like a lot of volume at the top. In my hair i already have pretty short layers um. If i do say so. I think right i mean these hairs are super short, as you can see so yeah. That'S what we're gon na do i'm going to tie them to my head, i'm just going to speed this up. Okay. So what she does is that she smoothes out the hair and kind of measures it sideways like this. I think i should cut like a good amount. I actually feel like this isn't gon na come much except the length of my hair. If i'm being honest, so we will see time to cut cutting this much. That'S not really a lot of hair, but okay wow a hair stylist. Well, that is done now. I'M gon na do the other side. I don't remember how much i cut so, let's hope my hair ends up being even oh, that was perfect. We cut i'm a hair, stylist goodbye and they're completely uneven hair, isn't even going to take out the pigtails and i'm going to just cut my hair. So it's even so. How i do this is that i brush it down still parted in the middle okay and behind my ear like right behind my ear, i'm going to tie my hair they're, pretty even i'm gon na grab two more and just put them we're gon na i'm gon Na cut just to make sure that my hair is even so, i'm gon na go ahead and cut the pieces of hair. I cut even pieces, so there we go even hair. Now this really didn't add layering at the top, because i think i should have just done it high since i already have layers up there, so we're gon na. Do it one more time, and hopefully it looks really good. She said if i do like this, i'm going to have shorter layers at the top okay, i'm going to cut about this much hair, not really a lot now same technique, really just put my camera up a little more, so you guys can see what i'm doing. Okay, let as much hair fall out that i can and then i'm just gon na cut taking these pigtails off taking these pigtails out. What was i saying? I don't know okay, this is what it's looking like. I think my hair is actually very even now and it's time to style, so i'm going to go re-wet my hair, because it's kind of like been drying here and i'm going to style and then i'm going to be back we're going to see what it looks Like and hopefully it looks fire because if it doesn't, i'm gon na probably cry, but you know didn't really. I don't think i cut that much hair, but we're gon na see see you guys back when i saw my hair bye wait. I was like like what is this. I was putting my hand on like the viewfinder okay, bye, okay, so i did my hair, and this is what it looks like. As you can see, the shape is so freaking nice look at this shape. It looks really really good. I really thought it wasn't going to look good, but these top layers really fix the shape of my hair. I'M gon na show you guys the back uh. I'M scared, let's try the back of my air, but it's fine so and it's kind of even on the sides. I mean my hair shrinks differently, depending where it is also. I do have highlights so. My hair can be a little bit damaged, so yeah. It looks pretty even to the naked eye. It'S really nice because the back of my hair did look a little bit flat. Before i had, i mean i do cut my own hair, so it was kind of hard to cut the back, but with doing the two pigtail method, it really did help fix that. That'S one of the reasons why i wanted to try it so yeah. I do recommend doing this. I also would recommend doing it. The way that i did it where i did um both uh middle, like a kind of centered one and then one that's high for like the top layer, so they can be like pretty short.
