Hey everyone, so today, I'm gon na show you my three go-to hairstyles for second day curls. You could totally wear these on any day at whether you're washing your hair or not. But I personally like to do these. When I do not wash my hair, I try to skip two days in between washing which I really should go longer. But if you can experiment in different styles and stuff, you can prolong washing, which helps to keep your hair healthier and make it grow. A lot faster without drying it out by washing it too much. So I have tons of different hair tutorials that I've already done, so I'm only gon na be including three for this video but feel free to check out the playlist down below we'll have loads more for you, whether that be for when my hair is straight or When it's naturally curly like this, so let's go ahead and get started, and before I begin, I just wanted to go ahead and link you to my second day, curly hair routine. So you can actually see the process of how, from when I get out of the shower, when I just refresh my curls by detangling and also applying some product to help reshape those girls. So all you're going to need is the garden, a curl shape spray gel and some bobby pins and hair clip, and probably a hair tie to some first gon na start out by spraying that spray gel into my palms and just rubbing them together. This is how I like to apply it cuz, it's a little easier than spraying it right on your hair and I'm just gon na be picking up a small, probably two or three inch section on the very front portion of my hair. My hair is parted on this side, so each side is gon na be a little bit different of a size. Then I'm gon na pull that section back and then push it forward a little bit for some added volume, I'm just gon na kind of reposition. The hair into how I want it to be just with a little poof on the side and then I'm going to secure it with two bobby pins. I like to crisscross my bobby pins, so I know that it holds it in place pretty good now, just repeating that same process on the other side at this sections a little bit smaller, but I'm still gon na do at that little poof to make it a Little thicker I like to pull some hair from behind just so. It still looks even to where it's not too far down the side of my head, but it's a little bit thicker at the same time, and then I'm just going to kind of position that and poof it forward a little bit. So I can have some more volume on that side as well and then secure it with two criss cross bobby pins, and that is literally it for this look, it's probably the most simple one out of all of these styles, but I do it all the time Because it just pulls my hair out of my face, but it also gives me some nice volume up at the top and I just love the way it looks. I feel like every time I wear my hair like this. I get compliments and it's just so simple. I feel like there's nothing even to it now on to the next one, I'm essentially creating just a big poof on top, but this a little bit different than a traditional one, because I am taking some more hair. I'M taking this all the way down, probably about to the end of my eyebrows, so I'm just kind of sectioning that off this is awesome for adding some volume to the top of your hair and also just getting your hair out of your face, but still kind Of wearing it down at the same time, because I've left my hair down. So this is a nice way to kind of conceal the flat roots, in my opinion, and also like cover up when and my roots are starting to grow in as well. So I'm just kind of arranging the hair with my fingers to make sure that it doesn't show my part and I'm also picking up some more hair behind it, to make sure it has enough volume underneath you could do a little bit of a tease. But I don't like to knot up my hair and make it frizzy or anything, so I usually just try to pouf it up with my hands by pushing it forward a little bit before securing it and just kind of arranging the hair. The way I want it to be - and I like to put the bobby pins kind of on the back of my head instead of at the top or you can use a clip like this - it just makes it so much easier with the clip, because you can Kind of just push it forward and clip it and you're done super easy, very simple, and it definitely helps to add more volume. I also sprayed a little bit more of the gel and I just kind of smoothed it over the top to make sure that there's not any frizzy hair showing through, but I'm just kind of tugging at different sections to make sure that it's all. Even but the great thing with curly hair is, it doesn't have to be perfect. It'S not going to be perfect, so this is about as good as it's gon na get. This is another one of my favorite styles, because I just love the volume then it gives and it just helps get my hair out of my face. This also looks pretty dressy or you can totally dress it down too, but I feel like this is definitely more of a dressy look, especially if you're wearing earrings now on to the next style, I'm going to leave my hair in that same pouf, that's on top. You could take it down if you don't want it, but I personally like the volume that it gives on top, then I'm just going to be sectioning off just a little strand of hair, underneath I'm going to be making a ponytail. So this is gon na help cover up the elastic and I'm just going to gather my hair into a really low ponytail. You could do this, however, high up or low that you want, but I'm just really loosely grabbing it. You don't want to have a tight ponytail, because you don't want it to look slicked back or anything, and you want it to still have that volume. So I'm just taking one of those ones that, like don't crease your hair as much and then I'm just going to be wrapping it around two times. You could make a bun with this. You could do anything you want. You could even braid it, but I'm just putting it in kind of a loose ponytail, loosening up a little bit and then fluffing up my hair. So it has some more volume. Now I'm just gon na take that piece that we left out and I'm just gon na wrap it around that elastic just to hide it. If you had one that matched your hair better, that would be good too or you could just leave it out, doesn't really matter, but I'm just covering it up, but I didn't really do as good of a job. I should have grabbed a larger piece of hair, but you get the point and then you just secure it with one bobby pin underneath to kind of hide it, and you can't even tell what it's there final step is optional, but I just applied a little bit Of that spray gel to my fingertips and I'm pulling out just some tiny little pieces in front of my ears and shaping those curls right there just a little added something, but you could skip that step. You can even wear this pony on the side like this. If you wanted to - or you could keep it around back, I kind of like my on the side because then it doesn't look like I don't have any hair but either way. So that's it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it, make sure you pin the images on Pinterest if you plan on saving these looks and trying it out.
