Hey guys, this hair tutorial will show you how to create a faux loose braid that almost resembles a fishtail braid. Of course you can just do the latter but this method is great for those with layered or stubborn hair because your hair won't move after you tie it in place.
This is also a cute hairstyle for prom. Just add some hair accessories or flower clips and you have yourself a lovely tousled look.

Hey guys in this video I'm going to show you how to do this cute hairstyle for spring now. This is actually a full loose braid and it can be done on curly or straight hair. So, let's begin, first of all, I'm going to apply the a mica oil treatment all over my hair. This will make my hair shiny and because it's silicone base, it will also serve as a heat protectant. As always, I'm going to brush my hair to distribute the product and then I'm going to wait a few minutes for it to dry. So recently I was given the opportunity to try out a Micah's newest styling set. This is the 5p interchangeable barrel curler. This 5:01 kit includes five interchangeable, titanium barrels. The first one is the 25 to 18 millimeter barrel, which will give you big to small curls. The next one is a 19 millimeter barrel which will give you curly sue ringlets. I don't know if you guys watch that movie, it's really old the next one is a 25 millimeter barrel, which is the standard size. This little guy is a 16 millimeter root lifter. You can use this to add volume and you can even use it to smooth out your hair. The largest barrel will give you loose waves. And finally, the last thing - that's included in this kit is the Amika oil treatment which I did use earlier in this video to add volume pick up some Nair at the crown. Then gently back comb, your hair with a teasing brush. Next, you want to grab some hair spray and spray the area to freeze the tease. You want to be extra gentle when you back home your hair, because if you were to go up and down roughly, it might end up breaking that's what she said now, I'm going to curl our hair. So just start off by parting, your hair into two sections and clicking the top layer up, bring the bottom layer forward and start curling one inch sections of your hair. This common one heats up to 430 degrees Fahrenheit. So you don't have to keep your hair on the barrel for too long in just a few seconds, you'll end up with beautiful curls that look like this. For this look, I use the 25 to 80 millimeter barrel, so that gives you bigger curls on top and tighter curls at the bottom, when you're done with the bottom layer release another layer and do the exact same thing now, a lot of people have asked me: What'S the difference between a ceramic barrel versus a titanium barrel in terms of what it can do for your hair and have you tried fold, I can honestly say that both types of barrows yields shiny, long-lasting curls. The only difference is a titanium barrel is much lighter than a ceramic barrel. So if your arms get easily tired from holding hot tools, then I highly recommend going for the titanium barrel, because it's super lightweight currently Sephora sells the ceramic version of this hair styler because they don't have the titanium one out yet. So when you're done curling, your hair just run your fingers through your roots to separate the curls doing. This will also add extra volume without messing up your curls. The full braid is really easy to do. Just pick up two strands of hair from the back, bring them to the front and tie it with a tiny elastic band, preferably the same color as your hair. Again, you want to pick up two strands of hair from behind, combine them together at the front and tie them together with an elastic band. So now you just want to repeat the exact same steps until you pick up all your hair. So if you take a closer look, is starting to look a lot like a fishtail braid. The only difference is that it's loose and it's much more voluminous. Also, if you have layers, then they want to stick out because everything is tied together when you're done gently tuck on the braid, to give it some texture and volume set the curls with hairspray and you're done. EGH Video Production: I have a question about helping my haricot grow faster. Several years ago I decided to cut off my long hair. For the past 3 years I have been growing it out. Typically in the past my hair needed no encouragement to grow like wild flowers. After 3 yrs is just past my shoulders in the back and just below my chin in the front. I don't over wash my hair an rarely use any heated appliances or chemicals (I hold out forever to re-bleach my hair) what vitamins or hair care products to you suggest to help my hair grow.
