Easy Curly Hairstyles That Will Make Bae Weak On Valentines Day ♡ Lana Summer

Hi guys its Lana here and today I woke up - and I realized it's almost Valentine's Day like I didn't know, because I'm single AF and I wasn't really like planning anything for Valentine's Day. But I realized that maybe some of you guys are - and maybe I can help you out so I asked you over on Instagram whether you would like me to film something for Valentine's Day and you said, hair and makeup. So I've decided to come up with some hairstyles that you can wear on a date and it doesn't have to be a romantic date. It can be like a platonic date like a friend today and it doesn't even need to be a date. It can be school. It can be work or it can be like if you're trying to get a day so for these hairstyles we're gon na leave them quite loose, quite flowy. If anybody wants to run their hands through your head and they can, although, if you've got curly hair like me, that's gon na be a bit of a struggle. Also, these hairstyles are gon na make it quite easy for you to kind of touch your hair and play with your hair and that kind of thing, because apparently people think it's dirty when you do that. So I don't know if this is gon na help. You out on that date, or maybe it's gon na help. You get a date, but this is kind of gon na leave your hair up, so you can play with it. You can just let them know that you're interested. You know, that's what I'm going for today. You'Re, just gon na take a little kick like this and you're gon na take all the hair from one side and you're, just gon na put it all over I'm using bobby pins to pin it down. So it looks nice and sleek and flat at the back, and then you want to come around and fix up the front. So I am just laying down my edges using the Loreal pixie cream wax and my little toothbrush and I'm gon na create a nice little wave here with my edges. So I like this one. I think it looks kind of itchy but also elegant. At the same time definitely depends on the kind of makeup you wear and your jewelry moving on to look number two. So just shake all of those bobby pins out make sure. There'S none left in your hair leave a little bit of hair around your ear and leave some more hair on this side as well, because this is like this side look again, I'm loving the side looks right now. So then you want to separate your hair into three. It'S a little bit of a struggle sometimes, but then you want to create a really really loose braid, so I'm starting so loose, I'm not using any hair ties at the top. I'M not gon na brush. My hair out or anything because I like the look at the curls being in there. It gives this braid a lot of texture, and it just makes it look really natural, so go ahead and break that down for the ends and tighten it up with a little hair tie. If your hair is maybe short, the mine, or even if it's as long as mine, mine was still coming out the side. So I just tucked that into the braid you can use a clip as well just hold that in place fix up the rest of your hair to how you like it and that's this look. It leaves a lot of hair out around your face, so you can twiddle that around your finger and I just love look so we're now at number three, so shake out that braid lose some hair out around your face and go ahead and take up the top Half of your hair, so I'm taking that pretty low down at the back of my head and I'm just going to wrap that really loosely into a little bun. So this is really messy really loose. I'M leaving pearls out all over the place and I'm just clipping that down so it's really loose and you can easily whip that clip out if you want to. If you need to so just leave some hair out around your face. I really love to look at the messy bun at the back, and it means that you can just take the clip out and let all your hair down when you want to and flip number four take a section of hair close to your ear and brush it Out so that it's really easy to work with I'm using my little tangle teezer, so that it's really easy to detangle cuz. You want to be gentle here so start from the bottoms and work your way up and then, with that newly brushed out section of hair, go ahead and separate it into three and just do a little braid with it. So just a normal braid. This was different to the other braids that we did, because for this one I actually want it to look kind of neat and smooth, which is why I brush it out. So go ahead and braid that right down to the ends and then you want to pull on the actual braid. So you make it thicker, because we couldn't really take a huge section of hair, so we're taking a small section of hair. But we want it to look like a thick braid, so we do that by pulling on it. I think this is called pancaking. So do the exact same thing on the other side brush out the piece of hair, so that you can make a nice smooth braid and go ahead and braid that right down to the ends again so go ahead and pancake that braid as well get it. Looking nice and thick and then you want to kind of make the Front's of your hair look really neat. So I'm doing this with a little spray bottle just to get that a bit damp. So it's easier to work with and then I'm just gon na go ahead and just comb back the front sections of my hair. I want this to look really neat, so I'm gon na make it look really sleek up here. I'M brushing back all the extreme edge work that I did, because we want minimal baby hairs here. We don't want a lot of baby hairs going on. We want this, don't really need so I'm gon na go ahead and sweep that bit. I'M gon na sweep this bin seem minimal, baby hairs right here and then go ahead and take your braid and wrap that all the way across the front of your head. Like this, it's like a little headband and then you want to go and lay that down with a bobby pin. So I use two bobby pins. I cross them over each other and then go ahead and take the other one and do the exact same thing with this. One just make sure that it is below the rest of your hair so make sure that this is covered by the rest of your hair. When you're done and then just play with that a bit and find how you like to wear it best, it's like a little goddess, braid, a halo braid. I love it, so that is her sign um before.
