Hey, what's up guys today, I'm gon na be showing you how I've been styling my hair, I've gotten, so many requests for it. So thank you so much, I'm glad that you guys have been liking, how I've been doing my hair recently. It took me a couple weeks to figure out how to style it, because I definitely have to do things a little bit differently once I cut it off so yeah. I hope you guys enjoy this. Please subscribe and let's get started so I have my t3 whirl. Is it the world trio? I don't know, I never know the name of it. It has interchangeable barrels and I have it on the second heat setting. So then, what I will do just take my hair and separate it. I recently got these silk scrunchies there by the slip brand, it's supposed to be like better for your hair or whatever, and then we're gon na section this into two. So I usually section it like right above my ear, I'm just gon na put another scrunchie up here then I like to use the Paul Mitchell hot off the press heat protectant spray. I also use like a creamy if you protect it when my hair is wet out of the shower, but then I will also use this when it's dry, just because I want that extra protectant, so I'll, usually spray each layer as I go through the underside and Then I just brush it through. This is a wide toothed comb from Sephora. Okay. So then, this interchangeable barrel by the way, comes with regular wands for you to like wrap around, but I bought this one separately. It has a clip and it's one-inch, so I personally cannot wrap my hair around a barrel when it's shorter. I don't know why. I just can't make it look good, so I'll grab this here right now, I'm just working in the back I'll grab it towards the middle wrap it pull it and then take it out. It only takes just a couple of seconds and then I'll alternate each piece. So that one went away from my face, this one is gon na go towards, say, grab it pull it towards. I don't even really let it sit very long and I just pull it straight out. I actually really liked my hair. Today, I've been loving my hair just like blow dried out. That'S what my hair is now i blow-dried it last night and I slept on it and just brushed it today and I just think it looks just very casual and whatever get this piece, I just always make sure that these go away from my face yeah, I Don'T really care that much if under here is a little bit straighter just because I'm probably gon na go through with a flat iron on those pieces anyway, so it doesn't really bother me so now I'll just push this to the back grab this section spray, this With the heat protectant brush through it do the same, and now, while I do the other side, I just let this sit. I don't touch it. I just let this cool, I don't do anything to it. So I'll just flip that back and then work on this side. I always start from the back, because just it's easier for me. That way, I'm pretty sure you can probably just start already one way and then go towards and also when I was on a photo shoot in New York last spring, I learned from the hair stylist there not to let the curling iron sit on your hair. For too long he said think about when you iron your clothes, you wouldn't let the iron just sit there, so it really isn't about how hot the curling iron is. That does the damage it's, whether or not you let it sit in one spot. So he's like you, wouldn't turn down the heat on your iron to iron, your clothes. So don't turn your heat down just make sure it's always moving. Also one thing I like to do. I feel like I've, seen a lot of stylists do this and if you're professional and even hear me say those students probably make fun of me, but I feel like when they release the londa. They rap backwards around the curl, so, for instance, they'll grab it and rap, and then, when they let go, they almost go back around the opposite direction. I feel, like I end up getting the ends, to look a lot better. That way, I don't know if that even makes a difference, but I feel like it does. Okay, so now that side is cooling. What I like to do now is actually grab this piece right here. Don'T burn your scalp, but I'll open this up. So it's on the smooth part and I'll put it right there without touching my head, and it just gives a little bit of volume up at the top, and for me I feel like it just makes a big difference. I don't like when my hair looks really flat, and this helps so that I don't have to like tease it or anything, just a little bit, not much, and it just gives you just that little bit of lift right there. It looks kind of funny right now, but we're not done. It will be a little bit more smooth at the end, instead of just like a big hump right there. Now I'm just gon na check over my hair and make sure I don't have any areas that I want to be curled cuz, I'm about to go in and straight. I know you can achieve this by just using the curling iron and leaving the ends out, but every time I try to do that. I mess it up and even if you do do it that way, and you try to just use the curling iron by leaving the ends out or you can use a flat iron to curl, it say you mess up at some point. You can always do with this next step. To fix it so side note do not buy this flat iron; it is the absolute worst. This is the GHD Platinum flat iron. It works really well when it decides that it wants to work. I just tried to plug this in my bathroom outlet and it didn't work, so I was texting Ruben. He was like, oh it probably just doesn't like GFI, so I tried the one in the hallway and it worked. So I have an extension cord running in here. Okay, so what I will do is take this whole, like bot, section and just start shrinking it pushing it straight down like this, and then it looks really curly up top and really straight on the bottom. So I'll go through some of these pieces and kind of just lightly go through them to make it more wavy. So, like this one's going straight out, I'll take that and just kind of curl it down. So it goes more straight down. Ah, that's a little too curly and then like this. This is still flipping out. So I want that to go straight and then I'll take it and shake it. Tuck this under here I'll make sure that this is really straight on, like the underside. I'M actually gon na be getting some extensions just for right in the front here, because these little pieces are so sort from breakage from when my hair was so damaged. Now, they're. Actually growing last summer, they were actually up here to my nose. Yeah, that's that side and you can see the difference now. Just two different looks. This is just a little bit more curly and full on the bottom, where this is just a little bit more messy. A little bit more lived-in and looks a little bit more effortless every time I try to do it with just a curling wand. It ends up still getting like so curly. So now I just I don't like when it looks like curly and then straight so I tried to like manipulate some of these curls to blend in with the bottom to go. Whatever way I want it to go, these are flipping out really weird. Sometimes, if I mess up a Karl, just use the flat iron put the curl back in and then I'm gon na check the back actually never check the back, but for the video I'm going to so the backs a little bit more curly than I would like To say I go through in straighten, it also run through the body of it to add some straightness, the worst Flatiron it just turned off on me. Alright. So now I will go in with my hairspray. This is the Drybar moneymaker flexible, hold hairspray. I'Ve been using this for a few years. I think it's pretty much ever since they came out with it. Basically, what I do is I'll actually grab my hair reaching over my head by the way I'll pull it up and then, as it falls, I spray it with the hairspray also kind of spray up closer to the root that I'll kind of give it that volume. I hope I'm not spring my camera equipment and spray up into it. So now I'll just shake it out. I just take my hands right at my scalp and do like so just shake the hair and then the last step I do is grab some oil. This is the red can Diamond oil. This is a clear oil. So if you have blond hair, you don't have to worry about it like tinting, your hair or anything. So I do one pump run it through my hands and in between my fingers, and then I just run it through the ends here and this just kind of separates the hair, make it look a little bit more defined on the waves. It also adds like nice, softness, smoothness shine and then I'll go through and do like this just kind of pick. It apart, maybe add a little bit more and then these pieces in the front I like to just tuck back, so you can't see them as much because otherwise I makes me feel like I have a mullet and then at any time, if you feel like you Need more volume, just shake it, but yeah? That'S it! That'S how I've been styling, my hair, I love it. I feel like it looks so lived in. It works even the next day. If you want to, you, know, adjust it at all. You just have to add a little bit more bend or a little bit more straightness, depending on what you're going for. I think the straightening of the ends is: what really does it for me? Yeah, that's it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and found this somewhat helpful. Let me know any other requests that you have and I will see you very soon. Bye,

Dee-Ann: Lol, I am totes super relaxed watching you do your hair. Great upload. Thank you! My stylist totes just did that technique to my hair... it gives a beachy vibe. You did it right!

Turtle Maynard: Girl I wish I could curl my hair in just four sections! I’ve got enough hair for like 4-5 people (so here’s a trick for no heat damage and time saving: use foam curlers and setting lotion! Takes 5-10 mins but looks like you spent an hour on it. You’ll still use angles to get volume). I’m a stylist so I use heat tools on clients of course, but I always tell them how they can style easily at home, damage free.

Molly Rosie-Ann: I am loving this video, so glad you decided to this. Keep them coming please! X

Samantha Jones: Love the hair, but would take far too long and drop out as soon as leaving the house! Especially on holiday in the heat. I've never been able to use a curling iron to make waves like that, but I've gotten pretty good with the wand. My hair goes down to my butt though, so I'll be interested how my fingers will fair with shorter hair. Thank you for making it look easy! Hopefully I can get in the chair soon.
