Hey curlfriends, i'm bianca, renee and you're watching beyond grenade today, and today's video is highly requested for the hairstyle challenge that we're doing all year, long, which is work or professional hairstyles, and i think the reason why i've taken so long to even make this video. It'S cause like what does that really mean, though, like i think all hair type styles are work appropriate like right now, my hair down this is work appropriate, and i wish somebody would tell me that is not even if it was bigger with more volume, it's still Appropriate because this is how my hair grew out of my head and if becky can wear her hair down with the way her hair grew out of her head. It'S obviously allowed. Am i right, but i mean if you want, like maybe some styles just to switch it up, so you look the same every day. Maybe you need to have your hair out of your face, depending on your profession, sure we can try some basic styles that will not distract your insecure co-workers. That'S fine! We could do that, so i'm just gon na wing it today. I don't know how many i'm gon na create, but let's just get going so starting off on already like style hair. I already have product in my hair, i'm going to keep out a couple little curly do's because it already just like just adds things to it. When you have a blazer on everything, you do looks professional. Am i right? So, let's just like do a little half up half down situation, nothing too crazy! No serious parts like so and we're not even gon na slick, we're gon na keep it kind of like loosey-goosey. Now you could use a scrunchie at this point or you can grab like a pretty little clip this little moon clip is from cvs from gsq by glam squad and there you go hairstyle number one just kept out a couple: curls clipped it super easy. I'M running late to work and i have two minutes now: let's do something similar keeping the little curly do's out and we can just do a low ponytail. Should we start slicking things? Do you guys need to see it slick? Let'S add a little bit, i'm going to use my eco style, black caster and flaxseed oil gel once again, it's just still on my desk, so it's easiest to grab, but let's just slick down a little bit with some gel. This can be as slick or loose as you prefer. Your hair, your rules, we're gon na, do a low ponytail. You can use a silk or satin scrunchie or you could use a regular ponytail. A regular scrunchie doesn't really matter like so low ponytail, two little curlies business profesh. Now, let's say you want it up and out of your face go up now it's going to be kind of like a messy ish bun, but here's the trick to a bun. You actually want to keep your curls in the front and then you pull them down. Tada hair is up and away i'm here to check you in for your three o'clock appointment: easy right. If you don't want any hair in your face, just put everything away up to you and that's the beauty of curly hair like it could be as like messy as you want it to be, and it still looks like cute, because your curls are always popping. Let'S, let's do another down, look, let's keep it all down, except for the front, so i'll do a little bit of parting. Let'S take this piece right here. This front part does not have to be perfect. Okay, we got our two pieces and put the rest away and let's make a better middle part, there we go solid. Now, i'm gon na get it wet and i'm gon na slick it down. Oh, not you! You stay on your side like so now, i'm going to get more of my gel and slick it down. Oh, this is nice and shiny, see my bangs coming in. Let'S look it down put it behind the ear, keep out baby hairs. If you want. Oh no baby hairs are work appropriate. Whatever you want to do, and you tie these two pieces in the back um, let's use like a little small rubber band, then we take the rest of our hair down now. You'Ve kind of made like a headband out of your own hair. You know that would be cute, but it's like a little bow, but it's not that's, probably not work professional, that's probably just fred, and i cute but anyways so now. That adds like a little bit of texture to your hair being down since we've started. Let'S go for the super slick. Look using a middle part, we're just going to wet the top of my head. That'S where things are going to be slick grabbing some more gel. This gel does work very well for the shine anytime, you're doing a slick style. You want to get like a boar, bristle brush that looks like this or this i have different ones. That'S going to give you the slickest look versus like a normal detangling brush and there's the lips all right. Now, let's slick this back, oh that's cute, i could tell i would never get professional. I think i need baby hairs. Is that not allowed? No, we kept this dry, it's not going to be all flat and then i'm going to use a regular scrunchie for this one. So it's nice and tight and there you go super sleek and super professional and you can do different variations of this same look. So you can just do straight back or you could bring it all to the side and wear it to the side. What else can we do? Um? Let'S try to bring the little curlies in the front back kind of got my little curlies back. It'S usually better. If you don't do 50 hairstyles at one time, let's re-wet this and let's do a little little twist. I'Ve kind of done this in a recent video twisting my hair back like so then i'm grabbing this little clip then securing that there and then do the same thing to the other side. I got these gold clips by jamie lauren. I will link them in my description box and then you can re leave the rest of your hair down and there you go just a little bit of a little hint of pizzazz. Nothing too crazy, nothing to distract your co-workers, just a little gold easy or you can take these pieces. Oh my poor day, one hair, it was so beautiful. This is great to do when you're on, like your end of the week hair. So you could just keep doing styles twisting it pulling it back. I'M just gon na use this for now and then taking this side twisting it. If you can french braid go for it, you over achiever, you maybe meet the two in the middle and then you make like a little twisted crown. Maybe instead of this clip, if you don't want anything showing you just get a bobby, pin and connect the two. This is another little accessory from cvs uh, then the gsq by glam squad collection, so you can just clip it like so bobby, pin pretty pen whatever floats your boat and for my last trick, i'm just going to put it all up in a clip. This is my favorite clip from pattern beauty. A lot of my clips were from the 99 cent store, and then i realized that there is a difference from clips that are more than a dollar, so i'm kind of twisting it pulling it down grabbing my clip and clipping it in place. So you can have it like this. I think i might like it better without the twist. I would probably just undo that so it's like more slick, but that gives you more of like a slick part up top. If you don't want the messy bun look just on its own, but that way your hair is just up and away. So there are a couple of quick and easy professional work, appropriate hairstyles for you guys to try. Please tag me on instagram at mid beyond grenade. In your story, so i can see which ones you rocked to work leave a comment. Let me know which one is your favorite and i'm gon na think of some more to give you guys some more options. Do you want more wigs? Let me know in what direction you want me to go in for our next hairstyle challenge. Mae Mae is Here: Omg Bianca I can not get enough of your sarcasm and facts, natural hair is automatically work appropriate! It grows out of our heads!

Courtney Haas: Love all these styles! So simple and still accentuating the curls! When you put your little curly bangs away with the bun and they just stayed: magic ‍♀️

Paola Animator: Love the curly hair professional styles, they're so cute! I'm graduating college soon and then I'll be searching for a career job, meaning lots of interviews... so I want to look cute but with a side of professionalism as well. Going to be a busy year for me haha. I'm glad I found your channel, my long curly hair is similar to yours so seeing how you do different styles help me a lot. Thank you

Lauren Brewton: Perfect timing...I was trying to find some new looks for work when my hair is day 4 or 5. I always do to a slicked up bun. Thank you for showing so many great styles.

Lindsey Prozanski: Curly wedding hairstyles! For romantic looks, loved this video

niecy quinones: Awesome styles!! Thank you for always showing us how to style the curls and still look amazing!! Yayyy Bianca!!

Oliris Ramos: Love these. I was made to feel that my curls were not work appropriate and used to straighten using all the chemicals and tool but the last 3 years or so have been amazing in the curly hair community and since I started watching you 4 years ago and doing you challenge the last 2 years. Thank you for what you do!

rachel t: Loved this video- you made them all look so effortless

Yhineidy: I love how all those hairstyles came out. If only mine would come out like your bianca. It's so hard to style hair that shrinks so much

By Jamei Lauren: We love to see it!!! Thank you Bianca Renee for rocking you By JameiLauren accessories! What a cute video idea. You looked amazing and the accessories added a nice finishing touch to each style! We appreciate your support!

The Random Jack Show: I personally love the first one the most because you might want your hair down, but sometimes you need it out of your face but still want it down. That’s the perfect combo. Love your page .

Tiffany Lynn: This is the best! Thank you Bianca for showing us beautiful and unique hairstyles! I need to switch it up.

Felicia Bethea: These are great!!! I can't wait until my hair grows out again!!!

Christina Molnar: Thank you for demonstrating a slick style. I’ve always been worried that a boar bristle brush might break my thin hair strands. I’m inspired to switch it up!

Rebecca Stevens: Great job- definitely a fantastic variety of quick hairstyles!

Jazmin Jordan: All of these work styles are beautiful! Easy and simple.

Carmel Fox: I love this video!! It's different & professional. I the curly do's & the bun. Thanks for showing how to do the bun. Yes, can you do more bun & ponytail styles. I'm going to get that Glam Squad clip with the pearl on it . I like your blazer too. Where did you get it? This video!!

Roshna Rach: Yesss girl !! I've been waiting for this one!! Thank you

KJ Murphy: “Not you….you stay on your side”…me every morning! Thank you for the reminder that “professional” is not defined by hair type. #changeitup

Jaay Kaay: I wore my hair in a braid out for my supervisor visit for my internship as a lesson to myself that it is professional. It got bigger as the day went on. I was actually more complimented then anything

Asiah: Yes, i agree. theses are so much better than my typical buns (which destroy my ends) for my day 3-5 hair. Thanks for these styles!

Cecilia Morales: Super cute. The twist one was ny favorite. I love how there are so many styles with curly hair

Lexi E.B.: Happy Sunday, Queen! Thanks for always showing me what I can do with my crown ❤️

CurlyMessican: This is great! Especially when I’m currently trying to figure out what to do with my hair for work!

truly_troyonna: Love the message! Let's get it to where our curly kiddos don't have to worry about stuff like this.

Maribel Mesa: I love all of them! I can’t decide which one is my favorite

Brittany Lugiano: I love love love this video! New workplace hairstyles was needed!

Laura B: Love how simple they all are. I am so boring with hair down, half up or all up. Got a few things to try that are easy before my caffeine kicks in.

CocoB: Thanks for the simple styles. I'm such a wash n go girl and I get bored with just wearing it down lol

Christine W: Loving all these styles!

Ellen: You're hair looks amazing.

Kellz Willz: In the 90’s I only wore my hair in a tight low bun to the office. I worked there a few months and on dress down Friday I wore my curly hair out….. wow! The comments flooded. Needless to say I went back to buns. I’m so glad I work remotely now my hair is so happier being free all day.

Ebony-Savannah Hudson: I think this is my favorite hairstyle video so far because I definitely be struggling!!!!

Chelsea Kerec-Uzoni: These all look great on you, as always with anything guuurl. But for me, any hair style that involves having a few curls out front doesn't work for me just simply because they don't form the same and they are different lengths and just looks crazy lol. You say your hair is thin but really it's not, just people like Felicia and Chloe have A LOT of hair lol. I say this cause all the bun styles, my hair does not look cute like that nor is it that easy. My hair is probably thinner than yours, so I don't get a big nice fanned out bun, it just looks kind of wavy and sad and limp lol, falls down. And since my hair is thinner doesn't look as thick, looks like tiny ballerina lol. Just putting this out there for others in the same boat and maybe yu don't others don't benefit same ways from this. and i wish when putting my hair back i didn't have to slick it, cuz it just be a halo frizz or baby hairs popping up everywhere, doesn't look cute. so frustrating that nothing works as well or looks as nice and my hair is so healthy

tall20183: "I wish someone would tell me my hair down is unprofessional" haha for real #curlyhairunite

jhazell25: Thank you for this. I agree that curly hair is professional but I do think some styles, on straight or curly hair, may not be as professional. For example, space buns. I always see this for curly hair style but I wouldn't choose this style for work, straight or curly, for the board room

Jermaine Au Natural: These were very cute and easy and love this jacket Good job Miiith Bianca Renee(9:44)

kryki_cha: I loved all of these!! I audibly gasped when you first appeared on screen. So dang beautiful! Can you think of anyone who could make a guest appearance to show some styles on shoulder length curly hair? I just cut about 3-4 inches off of mine. It's super layered, and looks like a slightly grown out version of my profile pic now.

Kati Benzer: I do variations on these styles all the time!

Asiah: I loveeeeee your disclaimer in the beginning "all hair type styles are work appropriate" SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!!!! They need to be focusing workplace etiquette aka non black coworkers should not be trying to touch our hair! Say you like it and go back to your cubicle, Monique (aka my previous boss who ran her fingers thru my hair when i came to work with straight hair)

Erica Tompkins: I really needed this. I need to do something besides buns for work.

Cintia Darlington: Exactly. Thank you. All curly hair styles are professional.

Kierren Garcia: CURLY HAIR IS PROFESSIONAL !!!! ✊ I've gotten negative comments at my job about my curls

Valentíno Quiñones: Yass!! Ima try a couple of these! Luckily your hair is pretty “professional” just down here in America (as long as it’s not too frizzy lol)

Julia Hoyes: Okay I’m OBSESSED with these!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for this inspo video

C Land: Almost makes me miss my long hair. Adorable as usual BR〰No curly hair emoji?

Brianna Alleyne: For the twists you can also do one in middle and two on side as well like at 9 min mark.

The Knit Witch - A Crafting Podcast: I needed this, thank youuuuu

Valerie Goode: Hair looks so pretty.

tinacosic8: When i talk about work appropriate, i think about "all hair needs to be out of my face" hairstyles because I work with food, also there are some nurses and other professions where you shouldn't have your hair down. But i do have a friend whose boss told her that her hair is too big to look professional (and she is more wavy than curly)

T J: Good morning! I think the only nonwork related hairstyle I don’t think will work for me is space buns! Lol I work in physical therapy so the older population that is usually in pain so may not go over so well but if I worked with kids, it would be fine! Lol

Yamama: Girl the way you just swooped those bangs back into the bun and they stayed lmao. It gave me life

Minimal Assembly: Wanted to add that these are beautiful and versatile styles and your hair is healthy and thriving. I’d recommend for all women with type 4 hair to straighten it or slick it back into a coily or curly low bun for any interviews. You can wear your hair however after you get the job. I believe that all healthy and well-maintained hair is “professional,” but not all hair styles. In terms of what most traditional workplaces think, not all hair “types” are professional. Yes, it’s sad but true.

Katherine Ocampo-Mosquera: Awesome ideas! This video made me realize how "crazy" my hairstyles are during the week, but I'm also a Teacher so I never look too professional to begin with ‍♀️

Eileen Brazier: Some of these were by go to in the 90s 00s, need to go back!! Love them all!

Anabella: I usually just do a low pony tail or put it all in a big claw clip with my ends coming out the top like your last look. Possibly a low bun too. I really don't like a high bun at work haha..but I wear scrubs. It just looks weird.

Spoonyonthemoon: Looking niiice

Aaliyah Shabazz: I’m about to take headshots for my LinkedIn this week and this video was really helpful

Clau: Hi girl, can you share the brand of the brushes you used to make the hair style slick? Thanks! Xoxo

Nicole Metoyer: Love them all

Abigail R Matambo: I know this video is all about the different style, but I just gotta comment on your hair when the video started. DAY ONE HAIR!!! What?!?! The volume though!!

BRI BRI 🌺: Could we please get some hairstyles for school please ??

trueosmondfan: Maybe you can do a video on different styles with band and also, feature other YouTubers who have bangs. You can all share advice on how you keep them up, style them and even cut them btwn haircuts. I have long wavy hair with some lonesome curls and am tempted to cut my bangs again. Right now they are past my chin so I'm looking for ideas.

King hill: Happy Sunday beautiful ☀️❤️

Jennifer White: Happy Sunday everyone!

Chanelle Dick: If only I had the length, I would gladly try the styles I liked....

STUO: Can you please review the SheaMoisture power greens line?

Meriah Brown: “Your insecure coworkers” I’m dead!!

Angelic Reads: you and your hair is very beautiful

saucy gang: can you still do product reviews

Rena's curly hair: I had to shave my curly hair off march 24th bcuz I tried to cut it myself and cut to far down now I had to start my curly hair journey all over again which I am sad about but my hair does grow fast tho

Arelis: I am liking early in the video, just because of the sass....if Becky gets to do it, so do I. Lol

steph j.: ❤❤❤

BionAvastar3000: I would argue that a full on gelled up mohawk/spikes is not appropriate for all work situations. But that is with any hair type. LOL,

Yamama: Happy Sunday !

patoguadia: Nooooooooo, don't slick that AMAZING volume!

Meriah Brown: Day one hair???? My heart!!!

Kristina Marie: Notifications squad!!

GeishaTheSerpantClan: I just don't understand. Why it has to be banned. Other white girls has half shaved, then some tattoo on the side, then rainbow color while black or brown girls wearing braids and so .. and getting banned. Honestly someone has to shout out and make it normalize.

Edna Mcclain: I love you

Nivia Guitard: Why is it that i do some of these and they dont look half as cute?????

Kymbi Mathu: We need you to switch it up and get bangs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ayannah Lawrence: Ooh la la

Diamond Gilliam: Heyy
