Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Beautiful sometimes even i have bad hair days, i'm covering it up. I couldn't make it work. Anyways we're watching. Some people do more wolf cuts. Wolf cuts are still everywhere, everybody loves them. I love them, but today's video is focused on curly, hair, wolf cuts, curls and wolf cuts. Do they go? I don't know it sounds intriguing, but horrifying. It'S all the curls, then you snip it and it's like what then happens. So, let's find out if the wolf cut works for curly hair too up first, we have a video by acacia jabri. Today, i'm going to be trying the wolf cut. I found out about this trend on six talk. Everybody on six times been doing this trend. It come out good on some people, other people, some people end up the videos crying well. Hopefully it comes out good on you. That is so true, though some people, it comes out great, some people, it's just like an absolute tragic mess. It'S all about that technique. Baby, first of all, i want to show you guys how long my hair is. It comes to like right above my butt, i'm not really afraid to cut anything off, because, as you guys know, i do have some damage in my hair. My hair is a little bit wet right now it has some conditioner in it, it's detangled and it's ready to go. This is pretty much my problem area and the thing i like about this cut. It seems to like get rid of a lot of this hair. Okay, yes, we have a lot of damage going on you see. Her ends are like straight. We need to get rid of that like. I cannot wait to see that go in the trash like boo bye. This is gon na, be a great cut because it's gon na give her that rounded sort of look and it's gon na get rid of all that damage up here and over here, and it's gon na add some volume to her hair. It'S a little way down right now. She needs that volume. She needs those layers. She needs that sexy wolf cut moment. First thing you got to do, get a brush and you want to flip your head and you just want to brush it all to the front. I got ta say the wolf cut is so much harder on curly hair like brushing these curls out, getting it in the ponytail. It'S a lot of work. One thing i will say is if you're gon na do this on curly hair, make sure you wash your hair right before put a lot of like leave-in conditioner in your hair, so it's super smooth and easy to brush out that way. You have no tangles in your hair and the haircut comes out even one make sure it's all evenly brushed upward. Okay, here's a good tip too the more forward you put it the shorter your bangs are going to be when you're doing this haircut. You need to make sure that your hair is pulled forward really close to the front of your head. That'S going to make sure that you have that kind of like bang moment, but the layers are going to be shorter in the front and longer in the back. That'S kind of the downside of this haircut. It'S not like foolproof. It'S not like the best thing ever. It is pretty easy to do at home, but there are kind of like toss-ups to doing it at home, rather than getting it done like you're, not gon na get even layering all around and you'll probably see that later, because you're over directing all this hair to The front this part in the back is going to be the longest layers, and these parts in the front are really short. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take a hair time and i'm going to secure it right at the top of my head. I'M getting nervous like i hope she doesn't ruin her curls. Well, i they're already pretty, has a hair tie available and then a hair tie at the bottom? You don't need to put another hair tie just cut it where you want to cut it. The whole like hair tie at the bottom does nothing. I guess it's like used as a guide of where you're supposed to cut, but like is that more useful than just like looking and cutting? I don't know, i don't really understand the second hair tie. I hope i'm doing this right. Y'All like this. So i see a lot of people. Do this part wrong also, when you're putting this second hair tie in your hair, make sure your hair is still upward and not pulled down here, because, what's gon na happen, if you pull your hair down here, when you put that second hair tie in you are Adding even more length to the back and you're, making the front of your hair even shorter you're over directing again so we want to avoid over directing again, we want to get the most even layers all around possible. So when your hair is up here, put the hair tie in let it down and then cut okay and then you're gon na take some scissors and you're just gon na like that she went for it. I love seeing dead ends, be cut from hair. It'S the most exciting thing ever: okay, okay, so move it off you take this out. I will say, though she definitely did not go short enough. With this cut, you have to take a lot of length off okay, it's not it's not looking too bad! It'S looking more or less the same and then you're supposed to do like half up half down you're supposed to do the same exact thing, just brush it all forward now. This is where the haircut gets a little shaky because everybody takes half of the hair up. Now and then cuts again, but you're gon na get a disconnect between the longer hair and the shorter hair. Again, this haircut is not foolproof. Definitely, there's gon na be some flaws, but i don't know if there's really a better easier way of doing it. The last thing she did when she took all the hair up. She should just cut it shorter. It'S not going to get rid of too much length, because the hair from the bottom is being over directed all the way up. It really shouldn't get rid of much length, even if she cuts it really short, but this part might give her really disconnected really short, weird layers. That'S gon na be like uh, not cute. Why am i doing this? Why am i doing this? Why am i doing this because it's a good idea would have been better if you got it professionally done, but it's a good idea at least you're getting rid of that dead. We don't want to see it anymore. I don't like that, for you and then you're supposed to take the scissors cut again. Okay, we're gon na need to cut more than that. What is it? Looking like? Okay: okay, okay, we're getting a bit more volume a bit more of this, a bit more roundedness, which i love to see, but i do see a little bit of disconnection going on with those layers i'm actually liking like how i'm seeing the shape come together and Then you're supposed to take just this front area, secure it again: okay, here's what she has to get rid of a lot of length, because that damage goes up far. This is the cut that a lot of people be like after they do it and then you're supposed to cut one more time, and this is really where all my damage is, but i don't care bye how much i just cut. I just did this. It is no freaking going back, do we like it or what it's looking a little wonky? We need to get rid of that like straggly bit on the ends. We just shape it a little bit. She needs some bangs. There'S a lot needs to be done. I hope she's, not stopping you, i like it, but my hair is so wet right now, i'm just afraid that when it dries, it's going to be like this. So what i'm about to do is try to define my curls and then we go see what they look like for referrals, because i'm gon na dry it i'm gon na diffuse it and everything, and we gon na see like the final result. Okay, so she is going in and styling her hair and then she's gon na make like final edits to the cut after which, i think is a good idea that way it doesn't become too short, too quick, so she's putting her creams and gels. And whatever, is she putting in her hair she's, putting her curls in taking her time and then we're going to see it dry and hopefully she fixes, i feel, like she's, still going to have those like really dead bits, and i want them. I want them out of here honestly, though girl you need my wave products, i will be sending you the entire wavetech wave system, all five of the products. You will get the most incredible amount of curl and wave in your hair with zero crunch with our waveflex technology built into every single product. That is our proprietary blend of ingredients that you can only get with ex-mono products. It even has the ability to bring people from a really light wave like just like that to serious waves with just these five products. It'S unbelievable. You will literally have the most amazing waves ever and you will be so surprised at just how curly these products will make your hair. I cannot wait for you to try it okay, so y'all. This is what it's looking like. Oh, it was still kind of wet at the roots, but i just ran the blow dryer over it. So now it's like a little bit more dry, but it's not 100. Yet i like it like. I really do like it. It'S just like these few straight pieces. In the front - but it's like, i don't want to cut it because i don't want my hair to be uneven, but i think i am going to snip the little pieces in the front. I'M just not gon na go too crazy on the side, because i'm not trying to look crazy cut the pieces girl, get them off, they're, doing nothing for you and you can afford to lose those pieces they're just there for no reason, and i want them gone Now i'm gon na just take like this is just crazy, like just straight hair like straight dead hair. Oh my god. I cannot believe that i'm actually doing this did i just go ahead and cut all of them. I'M thinking about cutting some inches off the bottom, because i just feel like this just looks weird with these long pieces down here. The hair is just short up top. I completely agree with her those long pieces at the bottom. They need to go. Give us like a short round moment and cut all that damage off it'll. Look so good, like! Let'S not hang on to that hair. For no reason you don't need it. You will look incredible with short hair. I want to see those curls be healthy and sexy and hydrated this is so cute shut up. Bang, it's not even that short! I just got it. I pull up my hair right here and it makes the bang look a little bit shorter, but it's very cute, like i love this so much y'all. She looks like a rock star. Oh my god, this haircut looks incredible on her. This is the cut for you. Yes, yes, yes, it looks really good, i'm so happy for you up. Next, we have a video by shasta life. I have these we're gon na cut my hair. I'Ve never cut my hair by myself before i've always done it by professional. So this is gon na. Be like the first time: okay, okay, we got the kitchen scissors out. However, i think this is a great idea, because her hair is weighed down. She has clearly wavy curly hair, but she has no layers. If you have curly hair get some layers, you guys it'll, make it so much. Prettier it'll decrease the weight that your curls can actually show and stay and not get weighed down and right now. This haircut is doing nothing for her. So i hope i see her with like a bang like a sort of bull, cutty type of thing kind of like want to switch it up from the cute blunt to you know the wolf cut, that's everywhere. The reason i want to try. This is because my hair has been growing, it looks like a triangle and i just want to add some texture and layers and a little bit of a better shape. I think that's a great plan. Everyone does like one ponytail and they just do like a blunt cut in this video. He does two ponytails and it does add a little bit more texture and layers, or it just looks better. I don't know this is such a better idea doing two ponytails that way you are getting layering back here because otherwise, like i said before, if you pull everything forward, you're gon na not get much layering back here and it's all gon na be in the front Of your head she's getting her bangs and her short layers up here and she's getting stuff here too, he cuts it like towards the forehead, but i don't think i'm bold enough to go that short um. I think i'm gon na do like maybe to my nose. Let me just secure this, so i can see exactly where i should be cutting. Probably here, everybody always does that where they pull the hair down, and then they put the elastic in what is with that upwards guys upwards. When we put the second elastic in or don't even put, a second elastic in just pull your hair up and cut it, the second elastic does not need to be there. For any reason, it's like the longest strand, i think, as long as it's not shorter than this, i think, should be okay, okay, she's slaying. She took out that strand in the back to make sure she's not cutting her length. That is totally something you guys can always do. Take that strand out make sure you're not cutting it. You can cut as far down as you want as long as you're, not cutting that length of your hair, oh she's, getting rid of a lot. I love to see it moment of truth. Oh um. Oh my gosh, okay, holy, oh okay! I love what it has done to the front, but i think i want a few more layers. So i'm just going to like randomly chop off random pieces definitely did something something. What is this now? What was that technique? Because i don't remember that one we don't have to always pull the hair up into ponytails. We can actually just direct the hair out from the head and kind of cut off that excess in a round sort of manner right, so you're pulling the hair out and cutting pulling the hair and cutting cutting cutting. Imagine if you pulled all your hair out like this, but make a big circle. Okay, that's the goal! Okay, why i'm acting like it hurts oh, go for it, so much lighter it was getting so freaking puffy. She just keeps on going. I don't even know what she's cutting at this point: she's just taking random pieces, not measuring anything to the same length as the other side and then it's wild. Luckily, she has curly hair. So it's gon na mask those imperfections pretty well. I just quickly did like a little bit of makeup, like kind of like a smokey eye and added this thing and it looks so cool. I love this aesthetic so much. I think this is my favorite haircut ever i mean this is your sign to go and try it yourself because yolo, oh my god, it looks so much better. It'S definitely not perfect, but i will take this over the cut she had before any day. Do you see the difference like this before and after like there's, the weight was all here and now it's like all distributed evenly her hair looks curlier. It looks healthier. It looks so stunning, let's work on the technique a little for next time like can we style it bigger and sexy or more voluminous like flip, your head upside down diffuse it get that volume up here, use the wave tech wave system, wave, type, wave, foam wave Type wave cream, wave, tech, shampoo and conditioner underway revival spray. I promise you will be obsessed. I love waves, i love curls, i love it. The wolf cut has done it again. It'S given more people in this world beautiful layers. I think everybody needs layers and everybody needs bangs, i'm so for both of those things. Like i'm obsessed every time i hire a new employee or have a new friend, i'm like you get bangs. I just love a shaggy haircut. I love a rounded haircut. I think curls look amazing when there's layers there and i'm so happy these girls got cuts that they really love check us out on instagram for hair inspo, and you can also check out me on instagram check out all the x mono products and all the x Model color products at x, model hair. It is all linked below as well. If you like to check out more videos, you can do so now. Let'S hang out more, that's all for today guys! Thank you so much for watching, don't forget to live your extra life and i'll see you next time. Bye!

Kashia Jabre: BRAD!!!! I love youuuu Update: I did cut off all of the damage later THANK YOU & I cannot wait to receive your product line!

Mary Sala: I'd REALLY like to see that first girl again after she uses all the new Wavetech products. Seeing the difference in Eric's hair, I can only imagine how STUNNING she would look.

megancooksey: As a curly girl I’m questioning putting wave creating product on curly hair. I would love Brad to show us his product on really curly hair (not just wavy hair).

J Armstrong: "I am having a bad hair day" yet, Brad still looks amazing. Life isn't always fair.

Sofia : I did a wolfcut on my curly hair and it actually turned out pretty good! I just messed up the curtain bangs but was luckily able to fix them (I used Brad’s video and I love it!)

Bailey Tatum: When Brad mentions to cut your hair curly when wet so it's easier to get a more even cut and it's detangled, just keep in mind about the shrinkage that inevitably happens with curly hair, especially if it's very coily :)

Hanna Kin: I had waist length hair back in the 70s and my hair stylist Garland insisted I get what he called a long shag cut. He cut so many layers into my hair, it gave me volume I'd never had before and it didn't make my hair much shorter. It looked really awesome after I put 2 boxes of hot curlers in it. I think what Garland gave me way back then was basically a wolf cut.

Laura lvw: Pro Tip for my DIY curly girls out here: Manes by Mel has a tutorial on how to do the unicorn cut on curly hair specifically + an alteration for shorter hair

Wariors World: I gave myself a wolf cut just a few months ago, at first I failed. It just looked like I took the front pieces of my hair and blunt cut them. But I went in a second time, and I got myself that layering I was looking for. I absolutely love the effect it gives. It's definitely an easy to do at home cut, that will give you that little spice you need

Alyssa Dube: Brad out here making everyone's day better✨️

Jasmine Butler: I watched every possible TikTok on how to do this correctly and I finally did it last winter, if you follow the correct tutorials it WILL come out beautiful. I "wolfcut" my hair every time now and I can say I'm absolutely in love with my new layered style, EVEN WHEN STRAIGHT! Plus I have a side shave so this haircut is giving all the life and uniqueness to my crown ❤️

Desiree Michaels: That second girl hacking at her hair with those very dull scissors is the stuff of nightmares. I learned exactly one thing from my Mom cutting my hair when I was a kid - it never, ever turns out even with a pair of dull scissors and especially not if you have to saw your way through. Yeah, I had quite a few cuts that looked like I lost a fight with a weed whacker. But did I learn not to cut my own hair? Nope. Though I do make a point of using actual, sharp hair scissors.

Melanie Price: I followed your guide for the wolf cut on my 3a/b hair and I wish I had recorded it bc it came out SO GOOD! You would have been so proud what’s funny about it is that it’s both the cheapest AND the best haircut I’ve ever had. All thanks to you, Brad!

REMONA--C0me 0ver L!ve: I'd REALLY like to see that first girl again after she uses all the new Wavetech products. Seeing the difference in Eric's hair, I can only imagine how STUNNING she would look.

Ash: Oh nooo. Brad, I got proper hair cutting scissors last week and I almost cut my own hair from 16” to 10”. Ultimately I was scared and didn’t want the kind of cut that ends up in these videos So now it’s professionally done and looks great. We appreciate all your tips!

Spantzz69: i did a shag on my wavy/curly hair and it looks AMAZING! if there are any curlies out there looking for the sign, this is it, go for it! this type of cut is also really easy to do on yourself & there are a ton of tutorials on youtube

Sheena S: I did this to my curly hair about a month ago. When it was curly it didn't look too bad. Had to straighten it and have my sis even out the cut. Overall I took off 6 inches of hair and it felt so much better!

calypzo69: Your enthusiasm and genuine happiness for curly hair and people trying weird things is contagious. You are so cool, you try to help even after the mess they make. You are generous with your information, constructive critiques and your amazing products. I've seen so many videos of what the latter can do, I love my curls!! I wish I had my high school curls back. They were absolutely beautiful. Dime sized, always defined, soft and healthy. Memories... I still have beautiful curls, just quarter sized now. ❤!!

Rose Love: black girl to black girl: cut the dead ends off!! it completely ruins the style and adds absolutely nothing

Alyssa Kreber: This cut somewhat reminds me of “MySpace Scene Hair” when it’s teased with the mullet type hair & sometimes added extensions in & the underneath was thin & long I’m only half way done, the first girls came out gorgeous

Alex Tutorov: The “wolf cut” is just a straight hair derivation of the unicorn methods of adding layers to your hair used by curly-haired home hairdressers for decades. It’s a two-step round cut without the curls.

Jen Lewis: once again, such a great video, Brad! Wishing you much happiness today!

Sunshine Then: I grew out my pixie to this weird helmet shape. When it was long enough, damn right I did this cut. So frikken simple and my hair looks amazing with layers!

Amo Sandhu: My 13 yr old daughter keeps doing this to her head but she’s kinda good at 1. Doing it. 2. Lying about doing it

Jaded Monk: Ahhh...a Triple M start to my day with a Mondo Morning Moment. Brad's channel is where I turn to when my day needs a boost of levity. I was actually flinching with every random whack that the 2nd girl took with those kitchen shears. I found it deeply traumatizing while simultaneously hilarious. Total Triple M perfection

leahlaine: I did this on my own curls a couple months ago - it made my hair more live-able for me for the time, but I have a professional hair cut in a couple weeks and I’m gonna get it more drastically done so we shall see how that goes. My face looks best with big volume around it and less at the bottom, and the weight of my hair pulls down literally any other haircut I get with longer hair. Hopefully it works as well as I want it to, or I’ll have a weird growing out period

Melody Ashby: I watched this video and then immediately went to give myself a wolf cut. I might have some impulse issues but I think it turned out okay lol. Curly hair is very forgiving thankfully

Eden Rae: These fellow curly-haired women are incredibly brave, and I'm glad they are because their end results were great. My hair naturally is coiled curls, so it took me like 10+ years to grow out past my shoulders, and I'd be too scared to lose any inches

Miss.Scales: All my life I've had super fine, thin, straight, literally no texture hair. So watching Brad's videos allows me to live vicariously through others that have textured hair

Erin Mitchell: This video just Jedi mind tricked my partner into cutting off four inches of dead hair and I AM HERE FOR IT! I have been begging him to trim his ends for months. Thank you, Brad Mondo.

Corrie Elliott: Hi Beautiful! Brad, I just want to say I’m so proud of you and all of your success! You are a true icon and you have such a positive impact on so many people! Keep doing you Brad, your energy is so infectious and you’re truly an amazing person! ❤️❤️❤️ xx

Deejay SlowMotion: Brad saying "live your extra life" made me go from a simple long haired girl to a super mama with pixie hair!!! Love you Brad!! Thanjs for your lovely videos.. I'm glad i chopped it off.. Feel so energetic and good abt myself now

Bi'ara'ra Larkin: Oh wow. The first girl and her finished look is giving Tina Turner. She looks so good! That cut fits her so good.

Zz Zz: Im going through a rly tough time rn and all I could do is watch videos and cry… 6 mins in I finally stopped crying & actually feel better lol thank you brad. This energy goes beyond hair❣️

IfMyNameAin'tGoodItsBad: I have to say I loved seeing the before and after side by side with the second wolf cut. Know its not always the best to show but when there is more on the improvement side to show off I think its needed to give everyone a better visual for the haircut!

Cloudvibes: i love you brad, i love all of your videos and i look up too you i know theirs a 1 in a million chance you'll see this but i love you and you inspire each and every one of us i hope your doing okay!

Terri P: I have some curls, and that's how I cut my hair at home, and I haven't had any issues with it so far, though I will admit that it looks better when straightened. It beats the heck out of having my hair ruined by razor cutting like hair stylists in my area seem to love doing even when I request otherwise. I just can't trust anyone else with my hair, and doing it like this is the only other option I have.

Judy Baltazar: My curls are right in between the 1st you lady and the 2nd. Did the wolf cut (with mom's help), used sheers, cut about 1.5 inches off the bottom, and thinned it out. Love it....especially when it's perfect for that 40s 50s style as its easier to pin curl

Elizabeth Cueto: I would love to see the last girl’s hair after it’s been freshly washed and styled. The first girl was absolutely gorgeous and her hair turned out so beautiful!

Miranda Rolin: I think the main reason for the second hair tie is to make sure that the entirety of the ends are collected and included into the cut. I imagine that vision is distorted while you’re semi-upside down and focusing on something so close to your face. I feel like it would be easy to accidentally miss some pieces, or have them drop out of your hand while trying to focus on everything else. It’s ok, Brad. We got you. Absolutely LOVE you and your videos!!

Samantha Pandolph: Omg they both look great with this haircut. The first girl really did great this haircut was meant for her for sure

Sherry Pie: The tension is also pretty tight as well. There’s a reason you hold with light tension with curly cuts because that hair will bounce up especially when dry and without that extra weight. I’d recommend a non hair tie method for curly hair unless you are very careful with how much you cut.

Sir Flamingo: My hairdresser made this cut on me for YEARS and I have wavy/curly hair and it's marvelous. Now that I have a technique, I can do it at home ^^

Spencer Wilmore: okay first girl ended up slaying, but that second girl...... is STUNNING. How did she go and cut the most random pieces off her head and then turn around and look perfect? Beauuuutiful ladies as always

Ashlee Passini: I really love Brad! His videos never disappoints! Keep up the good work!

Sab: i have straight/slightly wavy thick hair and i recently went the wolf cut curtain bang route and im OBSESSED. my hair looks and feels lighter, it brought out more of the wave in my hair and it all around looks so much healthier.

Lady Illexi: Loving this!! I have wavy/curly hair and gave myself a wolf cut following your tutorial last month, but was pretty conservative as it was my first time cutting my own hair! Last week I went shorter and am LOVING IT. Best hair style I've had my whole life!

Jimin ‘Siii: The first girls hair turned out so beautiful ❤️ also brad I have been trying to choose out a new hair color have any suggestions? (Btw I have a warm olive skin tone)

Auroraxxfacekilla: I love these at home haircutting videos! Much love Brad!

motherknowsbest: I've heard people say this looks like the diva cut for curls. I have 3b/3c hair and also had damaged ends. First I straightened my hair, then trimmed my ends which left me with a blunt cut. After that, I sectioned the hair per instructions and cut it. It came out nicely

Jess Whalen: You should make a wavetech starter box with everything you need in one easy box to start. I'd love to recommend this to my mum, but trying to get her to buy all five things separately would be tough. She'd buy two “just to try them out” and never buy the others.

hickg0th: As someone with curly hair who tried the “wolf-cut”. Tbh it just came out like a mullet and I LOVED IT

Kackie Reviews Beauty: Can we just take a moment for the amount of time and care that goes into maintaining curls.

Ferral queen: BRO I just did a wolf cut on my long curly hair and if I had know brad would be doing more wolf cut reaction videos I would've totally recorded it! I followed Brad's tutorial and it turned out amazing!

Shea Bae: My week isn’t complete without seeing Brad

M. H.: I did a wolf cut on curly hair (2b/3a), and it looked like crap. My curls were mangled and wouldn't form right. I tried to cut more layers to fix it but ultimately ended up chopping it all off into a pixie. Growing out a pixie was less painful than growing out a wolf cut.

Liza Marie: Enjoyed this video as always, Brad! However, maybe you could give a few more tips in using Wavetech Foam. My hair always looks like such a mess when I use it.

Shanaenaegans: Wavy/curly hair and have the “wolf cut” but I went and got it done professionally… I don’t have the nerve. Helped my curl love it soo so so much!!

April Nagy: my hair used to be super curly and red when i was younger, as I grew older I just figured my curls were just going away. I did a wolf cut on myself and OMG all i have to do is put water in my hair and it all bounces up and I got my curls back :D I love this hair cut<3 beautiful

Tara Kinney: I Love how open you are to ALL hair types and very knowledgeable, it’s very rare.

CV: When that 1st girl was struggling with the straggly ends. That was me not long ago. They got on my nerves so much I ended up cutting them off. I ended with curly bangs. Told my hairdresser “don’t be mad I took scissors to my hair, but they had to go”. It’s crazy how some dead ends make curly hair look. It just fucks up the whole look. So glad she cut that dead hair off, she looked great

Nettie RG: I did the wolf cut because I hadn't cut my hair in 3 years (except thinning), I love it. Gave a lot of volume back around the top of my head, and so much softer and manageable.

Jessi Lewis: I have naturally curly hair that I cut myself and I use a variation of the wolf cut. You have to do more than 3 sections so you get more subtle layers and then I will style my curls and trim individual curls/locks to get the shape I want and to make sure it’s all good and even. I feel like curls can be pretty forgiving

angelenaj0Li3: This is the only way I trim my hair now it’s so easy but I don’t want super short layers so I put the pony more towards the center of my head! I also don’t do the second cut of the front sections. Just a simple trim with long layers is how it comes out. Much easier than the four quadrant method for me at least.

Sho N: As a curly girl I really love when you make curly version of a video!! We need more also, brad please take a look at the cgm and more about curly hair, we need to be educated by you!!

HB2dixon: I used the mondo tutorial for the wolf cut 2 weeks ago! It looks great and it was the first time I've ever cut my own hair.

Emi Pellegrino: I'll be honest ! I went to a "curly specialist" and she ended up giving me a wolf cut (I didn't necessarily ask for it ! I told her to give me something that'll give my curls a boost !) ... And it looks awful

Wayward Penguin: You're products are Amazing! I'm obsessed with your gloss, that stuff works on curly hair and it's just beautiful thanks!

madstarules: I’d love a video or advice for the 1a hair girls! It’s so hard to feel cute and trendy with 5 strands of stick straight hair what should we do?

HKBr1nghurst: Hi, Brad! Love your vids and have gotten a lot of entertainment and education from them, but usually too shy to comment much. I've done the wolf cut a lot since my teens (when I found it in a teen mag before it was called EITHER the wolf cut or unicorn cut, and with my mom telling me she and her gal pals used to do it a lot in the 60's and 70's, too), when my anxiety and other issues keep me from being comfortable with a stranger getting all up in my hair. I've recently also found a variation that uses two side ponies and results in more of a U shape in the back, rather than the V this cut tends toward. I've learned the second hair tie lower down can actually be VERY useful when doing it one's self, as you speculated, for giving a good visual on where I want to cut, as well as on visualizing BEFORE any cutting whether sides are LIKELY to be even (which, of course, still needs double-checked afterward). It works very well, most of the time, on the brown hair that was straight when I was younger, and is still working well on the increasing grays that are wanting to be more wavy/curly and wanting to bring the remaining browns along for the ride, with occasional professional "cleanup" when I feel up to it. Thanks for showing both how this cut can go right, and how it can go very wrong, in an entertaining and educational way!

Aimee Tino: I have curly hair and have been growing it out for forever now and know that my hair needs some layering but I do t wanna do it cuz I don’t wanna lose the length that I’ve fought so hard for lol both of these girls killed it!

Anti-beauty guru: I always cut my hair like this but I don’t over direct it TOO much and I don’t do the second cut where you take the top layer and cut again. I just brush my hair forward, cut about 3-4 inches and then have my mom do the face framing prices and it looks great. It doesn’t look like a mullet, but it gives nice layers and volume.

Asteroid Shine: Amazing Video, Even though I'm not finished watching it! We can all agree, we love watching all his reactions to fails & successes to hair styles

Tatyanna Sumblin: I swear you're in my brain!!! I've been wanting to cut my hair for the LONGEST!!! It's grown so much and definitely has a triangular look to it right now been debating on this wolf cut idea lol

strawberry bubblegum: I'm getting a wolf cut on my curly hair soon so this video is much needed to help me decide thanks man

Average Girl: In defense of the Second Hairband- I use the wolfcut technique to cut off my dead ends. Because my hair is long and I only want to cut off 2 inches at most, I literally cannot reach where I want to cut if I'm keeping my hair gathered directly upward. So I'll use a second band to secure the hair as high as I can reach, and then I can lower my hair and it keeps the correct position (if that makes any sense) so I can then reach the length of hair I actually want to cut. So there, the second band is useful

Explicit Boyo: A few months ago I cut my hair and my girlfriend’s hair into wolf cuts and she has Irish hair so it’s pretty curly and besides her bangs being a bit short it turned out pretty good and then I did it to myself and realized my hair grows into a natural wolf cut

madison hale: I've done this cut on my own curly hair for years only messed up once when I didn't pull my hair tight enough but thank God curly hair is so forgiving

Glady Galvan: I did your wolf cut tutorial on my curly hair. Came out great!

Loveday Ayto: One thing people don’t talk about is once it’s grown out… it’s a bit and then trying to recut it with all the layers is so difficult to do at home!

Kayla De Luna: My daughter decided to give herself a wolf cut on her own (she's 10) she used clippers directly on her scalp in the dead front and center of her hair and it was a day before spring pictures...

[MARIA] 🔥𝐆𝐨 𝐓𝐨 𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 [𝐋!𝐯𝐞]: I'd REALLY like to see that first girl again after she uses all the new Wavetech products. Seeing the difference in Eric's hair, I can only imagine how STUNNING she would look.

Baileigh B: This is making me seriously think about getting my wavy hair cut for the first time in 3+ years… not a shag cut but a layered cut for sure lol. my hair goes to my butt, it’s losing the wave & soo hard to maintain. I love my long hair but I think it’s time

Samantha Serrano: Brad!! I love the way you are rocking the outfit!!! Absolutely stunning!

Pumibel: The wolf cut is one of the best cuts for my curly (2c, and 3a) hair because it allows the curls to do what they want to do. I agree that it has to be detangled and combed as smooth as possible.

Rain Im: I didn't think at first that they were gonna work {considering I have a wolf cut currently..} but either way they all turned out beautiful no matter the look!!

Elena: Ugh. With summer coming I've really been considering this hairstyle (I've got DENSE 2b or 2c hair, no I can't tell the difference bc when it gets this heavy it starts getting wonky). Kinda been afraid I have too square a face for it, but. I think I'm just going to go in and go for it. Taking this vid as a sign to be bold! Wish me luck~!

Tank CityQueen: My cousin in rural Mexico has been cutting her hair like this for years n when i asked her if she ever saw tutorials she was like no i just thought it made sense

Renata Wells: No “bad” hair day can make brad any less beautiful life isn’t always on my side

Natalie Walker: brad i’m with you i was waiting for that first girl to but the rest of her hair. those long pieces REALLY need to go. once they were gone the entire hairstyle really came together

Jyoti Sharma: Brad just makes my day, always

Katie Bisaro: Hey Brad! First off LOVE your videos! I was on your website and I was looking to actually purchase a shampoo and conditioner from you but I was kind of curious on what you would say is an everyday good shampoo and conditioner for someone who has pretty normal hair sometimes a little bit more on the oily side towards the top. My hair is thick and I also color my hair pretty often. (Alot of different colors) lol Hope you can help! I'd love to try your products!

Colleen MUA: My 2 yr old daughter has the cutest curls and I use wave tech and electric rain on my daughter and love it on her curls. Smells sooooo good and her curls stay hydrated. I definitely have to try the shampoo n conditioner and soooo excited for the wave tech hydration cream

Melie Brooks: I love my hairdresser so much she's like very honest Everytime I go to her saloon I show her a picture of people with curly and thick hair, not what I have And she looks at me like I'm a maniac lol Anyway Once she cut off like half my hair it was I bit past the shoulders and I told her to cut it to the chin She was more scared than me haha Last time I went I wanted bangs she looked at me, studied my face, nah it whould look like sh*t Hahaha So I just let her do and she just cut here and there And a bit here like all crazy because I wanted grunge and grunge is crazy and messy

Scottie 2Hot: I did this cut!! But I only did one big cut! Then I trimmed the longest parts. My hair was short and super cute!

Skie Maree xx: To stop the disconnection of the layer from the first girl she could direct the second and third part further back and pull the hair up to cut it that would still give the same effect but more blended ✂️

Raven Blue: Who else’s heart squeezes when Brad gives away so much of his product

TaraJoan: I WISH I could afford the wave tech system. I've seen before and afters of them and omg BEAUTIFUL. I would definitely love to see the first girls hair after using it.

She's Dark Inside: GASP!!! Gorgeous!!! Wow the first cut once it dried and she showed it off at the end it was so pretty and looked so good on her! Just beautiful.

Tatyana Gordon: I had wanted a wolf cut, I had waist length curly hair. Took me 7 years to grow it. Went to a professional. She just hacked off my hair without giving me what I wanted. Went from waist length to chin and now my hair is awful
