Hi, I'm Christina from Harrow manse and welcome back to my channel. If you haven't watched before yes, his hairbrush is my microphone and today we're talking curly, hair and I've got some quick tips for braiding curly, hair, okay, so tip number one don't brush before you braid. That'S why I use my hairbrush or microphone. You will not need it at all, with curly hair with straight hair. It'S my number one tip, because you want to remove any knots that you have before you start braiding, to make it easier, but with curls you just going to end up with a big pile of frizz, so put the brush down and just work with what you've Got and tip 2 is to work with your curls with straight hair. It is much easier to take in even small sections, but with curly hair you want to take in whole curls. So what I'm saying is, like you'll, see how your curls sort of naturally come together. Intellectuals of curls shapes you want to take in that whole section. Instead of trying to break them up and pull apart the section. That'S exactly the size you want kind of have to go with the flow with your curls and see how they're, sitting and taking actual curls. This will stop friends from forming as well without your breaking up your curls and we'll just make it easier. Remember your curls are going to add in a really beautiful detail to your braids, so you don't need to worry about it being perfect and even an exact and tip number 3 for braiding curly hair is to use product. I find it so much easier to braid. Curly hair, when I use it with leave-in conditioner spray, just softens the curls and makes them easier to manage if your curls looking at a little bit, frizzy a little bit of curl cream or a serum, even a little bit of oil on the ends can just Smooth it before you start as well so tip number 4 for braiding curly hair is to braid when wet what hair is a little bit easier to manage, so you can take in more exact sections. If you like to and there's an extra benefit, you can reshape your curls into a smoother wave. So when you take your hair out at the end of the day, you have your own heatless wave style and my last tip is on how to manage those tangles which we all have in curly. Hair can even happen when we sleep I reach again for leave-in conditioner spraying a little bit of leave-in conditioner on the knot can actually help me work that knot out, and then I also try and just take in the whole curls back to point two you're, not Breaking up the hair, you want you'll, be creating less tangles and you want be sort of pulling at your hair as you braid so braid in larger sections and use a little bit more conditioner just to soften your hair. Never in a million years would have thought to braid while damp or to start with thicker sections! FYI I never get knots or frizz and I am stopped a few times a month by parents of curly girls for advice. imposter_chan 👹: So, here’s a few things I’ve figured out in my adventure of curly hair. 1. It’s never going too be straight unless you perm it but do you really wanna ruin your hair?? also think about straight hair is kinda boring like us curly haired people have more life in us 2. Do not brush it unless you wanna look like you’re from the 80’s. You will look like a frizz ball and it’s not fun to fix. (I found this out the hard way) 3. Take care of your hair. I'm going to stop brushing before braiding them and see how it goes! 2) It's getting greasy. My hair is longer than yours, so the curl is softer and than I feel like brushing is necessary to make someting out of it. Amazing hairstyle as well!

I'm feeling a little guilty now about how I braided her hair before bed (She wanted an Elsa braid--you know, the Disney princess). It was the night to wash her hair, so I used the Renpure cleansing conditioner that we use. When we were finished and her hair was still wet, I worked through the tangles with my hands. But then to braid it, I brushed her hair so there were no tangles whatsoever. Then I braided it pretty close to her head (tight). She's happy with it, but I really want to do what's best for her hair. Again, I'm just really glad I found your channel. Thank you.
