Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be showing you how i do my favorite protective hairstyle! I love braids especially in the summer when it’s TOO HOT for the curls to be out in your neck. Changing works, hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm going to be doing a protective hairstyle, my favorite protective hairstyle for this summer and today I'm partnering Pantene for their gold series and their products are so balm and so nourishing it's perfect for protective styling and that's what I'm using today for this video. So if you'd like to see me, do this hairstyle right here it's for braids and I like the to French braid kind of thing going on, but I feel like whenever it's split in two, it's even better and especially for summer summer, is so hot. I have a lot of hair. Sometimes I don't want to do my hair all the time and have it out and big. So I just like to do protective styling and protective styling, it's great for curly hair. It makes your hair grow because you're not messing with it and it's all tied up in braids and stuff, and also most people like like to nourish their hair, deep conditioned put a lot of oils in it, so it just makes your hair super healthy. When you take it out, it's just like whoa curls flourishing curls on over curl is hydrated. It crows, bouncy, curls juicy. You know, and these products are all great to achieve that. So if you want to see how I get this hairstyle and let's keep on watching and let's get started okay, so I just washed my hair and I went ahead and you again teen soap, a free shampoo, along with this moisture boost conditioner and since we're doing A protective hairstyle I actually went ahead and did a mask before I got in the shower, so I used the repairing mask and this is infused with argan oil and it's a deep moisturization to replenish and help restore hairs health. I just like to make sure my hair is as moisturize as possible whenever I put it in a protective style, because I actually like to keep it in there for a little bit and since it's gon na be in braids and stuff yeah. I can't really put more products in my hair, so I like to put all that at the begin. So now, I'm actually gon na put in this leave on detangling milk good stuff makes my hair so easy to comb. I, like I, cannot do my hair without using this product and it's just the way it makes my hair fill. I don't know it's great. It just gives me like a lot of slip. Now I'm just gon na comb, my hair out I'll make sure to get it all the tables. Basically, I'm going to part my hair right down the middle. Now I'm going to pull up one side, so it's out of the way and then I'm just going to part an angle like from here you're back here and I'm gon na do like two braids on each side. So it's like split it right down the middle. I'M going to go ahead and pull this part over here to this side, while I braid this one, so I just want to get it a little piece from the front and then split that into three and then start braiding and I'm gon na braid, underneath so That the braid is sticking out at the top and it looks like a corner all and then you can put a rubberband at the end. I usually just don't use it over bands, my hair stays without it, but you can definitely put one on and I'm just gon na leave it like that and then braid the other side. And there we go. Here'S to the braids done. I really like the dump. Instead of one in one, are they and - and it just think it looks so cute - am I go ahead and do the same thing to this side? So I'm just gon na split the other side make sure it's even last one and then there we go. We got the braids done. I like to pull out my little curls and wet them a little bit, and then I'm gon na go ahead and do my edges really quick as well. I'M just gon na get a little bit of gel and place it on the edges and then I'm going to get my little edge brush. I'M gon na pull out any of my little hairs that are able to come out and then start swooping into the second, and there we go here is my protective hairstyle that I am going to be rocking a lot this summer, especially since I don't like doing My hair all the time and my hair is so big, it's so hot a lot of the times. I really love how braids look they're just the best, like my favorite protective hairstyle, and I think my second favorite would be like faux locs and I've only had those ones. I really want to get him again so well see if I get them soon, but I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
