Hey y'all, my name is kayrie. Welcome to my channel in today's video we're going to be doing this cute protective hairstyle on your natural hair. You can even add in here if you want to for a little bit extra length, but if you want to see how i did this keep watching okay, so i'm starting off with like one week old hair, it's in a slick bed right now, it's looking rough! It'S time for me to wash it usually i don't plan on pointing this fat, so i just been ready to do these braids, but before i get in the shower, i want to show y'all what i use so i've been using this aussie um miracle moist, shampoo And conditioner faithfully for a good little minute now, like this stuff works good in my hair, but i'm still open to you know finding more and usually, i use their three-minute deep conditioner. This stuff works really good, too all of their products. Well, this line works really good on my hair. Softens detangles gets me right every time, but today i'm trying something new, i'm gon na be using the maui moisture, shea butter, hair mask and i'll. Let y'all know how i like this in my hair after we'll see, if it um compares to their deep conditioner and then for the hairstyle, not using too much i'm going to be using the marie's edge wax for keeping the parts. You know nice and crispy. I use this for braided hairstyles twizzy styles styles, like that it usually works great for my hair and then i'm also going to be needing rubber bands. You know me about the 500 because i'm extra - but you know i'll, be doing my hair more than just this, and then i got clear beads pretty much to go with everything they're like the medium-sized one, because i really don't want my braids to be too small. How about two packs? I don't really know how much you're gon na need, but we'll see like in the video and then i bought this little threader for it put the beads on and, lastly, you're gon na need a parting comb. Your parts are so important. So definitely take your time because even if your braids don't look the best, if your parts are crispy, your hair is going to look good right now, i'm about to get in the shower and then blow dry, my hair and i'll come back. When my hair is nice, so now my hair is all nice and blow-dried period. It'S not like blow dry like straight or anything, because that's not really necessary for this hairstyle, but really you just want to be able to part it get nice clean parts to where, like you're, not spending extra time, trying to separate your hair, breaking your hair trying To part your hair, but i did say that i was going to talk about this hair mask i liked it. It was good. It says that it softens quenches and repairs your hair, which it did. I wanted it to detangle, but i wasn't really reading it for real, so it definitely softens your hair and moisturizes your hair, but that's about it. So yeah i'll probably still be looking for some more deep conditioners, but i know you always hire me talking and y'all ready for me to get into the actual hairstyle. So during the next clip it will be daylight because it's currently three o'clock in the morning - and i just really wanted to get started with my hair, so tomorrow will be all about braiding. I honestly don't think it should take me that long so yeah stay tuned. If you want to watch me break my hair, it's the next day, i went ahead and i did my bottom two rows, which i'm about to show y'all here's what they're looking like. I got about eight braids in, but i'm about to go ahead and show you all how i part my hair for when i start moving up my head, because the back of the shape of your hair is a little bit hard apart. So i'm gon na show y'all my technique that i use for printing my hair. The first thing that i like to do. I take my parting comb and i go ahead and i make sure i have a good middle part, because this is going to be your middle part for the duration of these braids. So you make sure you have a nice crisp middle part. Keep going until you get it right and after i get this middle part, i like to that's pretty good. I like to go down and pretty much go down behind my ear to where it eventually is going to connect with my braids back here, and i do that on both sides. So i'm going to go ahead and do that now then section it off and i like to put it in a bun just because it stays out of the way of my other hair in the back and i'm gon na do the same thing. On the other side, all right, so let's get into these braids. So i have my mirrors, that's what i use for parting. I went ahead and i sectioned out the back row a straight line going up against the other one making sure my part sizes are pretty much the same size. So once again i take my comb and i go ahead and make me a little square straight down and i like for my parts to be kind of like brick stacked. And i just that's my section and i go ahead and i pin the rest off and when you're braiding, i don't know, just try to make sure that your parts are good as straight as possible. But if you're doing it on yourself just do the best that you can use your mirrors, you know do that, so i go ahead and i brush it out nice and good because i don't want it to be tingling while i'm trying to braid my hair. I take my beeswax and i pretty much coat my braid in this beeswax, because i, like my hair to be sleek when i rate it, i don't want any hairs coming out. My braids, especially like not when you first get them done. So i put these down the whole strand of my hair and then i brush it out to kind of distribute the product a little bit more and then i braid my hair, like normal, pretty much so take my hair and i'm gon na split it into three Sections and i pretty much try to get the root nice and tight, and then i comb it out, because when you split it into the sections it kind of separates the hair a little bit so on each strand. I comb it out three times. It'S the last one and then i just braid it down the whole thing. It'S pretty much like a neat braid out a cute braid out that you can wear, i'm probably not going to wear these once i take them out because i didn't put these beeswax in, but if you know how to braid, then you can definitely do this hairstyle. So i just braid down to the end and if you feel like your ends, are starting to get frizzy just put a little bit more beeswax on them like smooth it out. But really the bottom doesn't have to be perfect because you are putting beads on it, and here is where i go ahead and add my beads all right. So once i get down to the bottom, i take my threader she's a little bit bent now because i've used it on my two rows, but i have three braids three beads on each of my braids, so i go ahead. You thread the beads all the way down past the little loop part. This is how you do it. If you don't know how, because i didn't know how, before i did this, then you take this little loop and you put your hair through it like this, and then you push the beads through. So you go down and you just push them up, and then i take this bottom bead here and i bring it down and i wrap my hair up just like this and then i take one of my rubber bands and i just wrap it around a b. The process is pretty simple: you pretty much just do this on your whole head, you part braid, and you put the bead on and i like mine, to be pretty tight around there wrapped around, but it's preference. It doesn't really matter just as long as the b doesn't come out, then i pull it down and that's another braid all right, so i'm gon na show y'all one more time what i do up close so y'all can see. So i went ahead. I part my hair, i'm brushing it out. I take my beeswax coat. The hair coat the whole strand. You don't have to put all this product in your hair, but that's how i do it coat the whole string. Then i brush it out again. You want to make sure that you get the um the root smooth as well, because a lot of times i forget about that, but it feels pretty good to me split my hair into three and you wanted to be pretty equal. I think this is good though, and then i start braiding my hair. I, like my room to be tight and then i bring - and i comb out my strands and i can already fill it at the bottom of my hair on one of these. Some of them are frizzy, so i add more beeswax as needed. It'S really about how it feels like you're, going to feel what you need to do. If you need to comb it, if you need to add more just pay attention to your hair for real and braid like marble for the bottom one more time you take your threader, it should look something like this there's other methods to um thread your beads. But this is how i do it. I use three, i put it on all three and make them go past the circle like this. Then i take the loop and i put my hair through the loop and then i push my braid up. Push the beads up. The braid and pull the braid through so in these next couple of clips, i'm pretty much just finishing the rest of my braids, i'm doing the same process that i showed y'all earlier, i'm parting, my hair, making sure that my braids are staggered because you want them To fall as flat as possible, and then i'm brushing it and braiding it down out of my little beads and i'm continuing to do this on the rest of my head. So i can keep watching and listen to music. While i finish the rest of my braids. So now that my braids are complete, i'm gon na finish it off with some water oil lettuce stuff. I just use it all. The time get my hair growing and your scalp yeah. I grew across every part y'all, and it feels so good and this is a fresh new bottle, so they come out nice. Lastly, i like to finish with some good old edges, i'm just taking some of this murrays and putting it on my edges, because it's cute or whatever yo. This took me like a good five hours, not even my cat, but it usually takes me longer to braid. My hair than like a lot of people, but it's pretty much like a normal braid, but adding these nice works all right. We'Re done! Thank you guys so much for watching this video don't forget to subscribe, comment and like if you want to see more content.
