Welcome back to my YouTube channel and if you're new to my channel subscribe below today, I'm here with a mini box, braids tutorial. So if you want to know how I achieved this look, keep watching now, let's get into the video. So, as you can see, I began by taking out all the twists in the back so that I would be able to part it properly and section off the rest. Now some things you'll need are some leaving conditioner some braiding butter, some foil, a rat tail comb. A paddle brush, even though mine is broke, a soft brush, a wide toothed comb, some rubber bands beads for the ends, if you're feeling fancy edge, brush and edge control, a mirror and a spray bottle. So, of course, you're gon na start by parting, a small section off in the back for your braids and just to make sure it's straight use another mirror to glance at the back of your head and fix whatever needs to be fixed. Like I'm doing right here now that the part is straight you're going to take your red, silk comb and part off all the sections for your braids. So for my first piece, I'm just gon na take my spray bottle and dampen the section and then moisturize it with some leaving conditioner and some oil next you're, going to take some braiding butter and apply it to the section as well and start braiding. So, as you can see, I did the same thing on the other side and I will be back to show and explain the progression of my hair. So, instead of going around my head, I just parted my sides going straight back for a different look for the front. I parted it across and down the middle, because the braids will be going in a different direction than the back, since this is more visible for you guys. I just wanted to explain it again so spray your hair with the spray bottle moisturize it with some leave-in conditioner, as well as some oil, then you're gon na take the paddle brush and just detangle your hair and use the soft brush to smooth it out now. You'Re gon na take the braiding butter and apply just a little bit to the section you're about to braid. Then you make the section into three pieces and cross over not under once you braid it all the way down fold the end, so you can apply the bead. This is so that the bead will go on easier. Then you're gon na take the end of your hair and put it over the bead and then take a rubber band and wrap it around the hair. Next, all you have to do is slide the bead down to cover the rubber band and I'm gon na. Do the same thing on the other side, now that they're all done you're gon na take your edge control, an edge brush, and just do your edges to finalize the look see, look how cute that is. You know I had to be extra with the earrings, but if you want you can put them in different styles like a low ponytail. You know high ponytail, whatever you want to do, but obviously you could tell. I was feeling myself, but that's all for today's tutorial.
