Hi friends welcome back to my channel so for today's video, i'm gon na be showing you guys how i did my hair and i'm so excited because you guys know. I typically don't really do like hair videos on my channel and you guys know i'm a cosmetologist and i do do hair outside of youtube. So i figured why not show you guys how i did my hair. It is a trending hairstyle right now everybody is doing it and honestly, it's super simple super easy. It really was like a no-brainer type of a hairstyle, so i figured i would show you guys how i got this hairstyle so yeah. This video is going to be voice over so let's get right into it. For me, it's everything for me a queen. You always keep it for me for me. That'S why i got ta all right. You guys welcome back to my channel wow. I can't believe i'm doing a hair video like who do. I think i am okay, so i've been seeing this hairstyle all over social media and it's like the new trending hairstyle right now and i've seen diera with this hairstyle. I'Ve seen aaliyah's face ari and they all look so bomb and it looks like such a simple hairstyle now i believe, diera and ari both were wearing lace front wigs when they did this hairstyle. But i didn't want to do that because i'm really trying to not wear wigs. So i really just did a sew-in in the back and some feeding braids in the front, and i'm going to show you guys how i did that, because when i looked up how to do this hairstyle on youtube, there were literally no tutorials and i'm assuming that's. Because it's a fairly new and trending hairstyle, so there aren't really many people who have done videos on it. So i figured why not show you how i did it so right now, i'm just going in and i'm gon na do my braid pattern now when i'm doing a client. This is not how i do my hair, but i really y'all it's my hair and it's going to be under a whole bunch of big old hair, so you're not even going to be able to see it. So you can do a circle. You can do well. A beehive you can do straight up and down braids and that's what i'm going to do so. First, i'm going to do an anchor braid just so that i have somewhere to sew my first piece and my last piece of hair and then i'm going to go in and just do the zigzag motion kind of like braid down start the next braid pick the Hair up braid down that sort of a thing, so i'm gon na do that and then i'm gon na. Let you guys um watch that and if i have anything else to say about the braid pattern, i'll come back and let you know, but honestly it was very easy. It didn't look the best because i'm doing it on myself um, but it was very easy. Very simple and yeah: you just braid your circle. However, you want your circle to be the braids. Don'T even have to be this small. I just did my braces small, because i know i'm gon na keep it in for a long time, so i'm gon na, let you guys watch this and then i'll come back. Can we get it together? Okay, so i'm only going to show you guys. Half of the head, but this is literally all you do. Is you want to braid pick up a braid braid pick up a braid and keep doing that until you don't have any more hair and then i'm going to sew all the loose braids down and then we're going to move in to sewing on the hair. So, okay, the hair that i'm using is beauty forever. I believe it is the malaysian curly and i've had this hair for so long um. I think i've had this hair for almost like a year. I'M not sure it's been forever and i don't even remember what lengths i got but um. I used two bundles and i did the flip over method and i doubled my wefts so that way it could be a little bit more full and honestly, i could have probably added three bundles because it's not as full as i would like so um next time. I highly would suggest that i use three bundles and now that i know what i'm doing because, like i said this was my first time doing this style. Now that i know what i'm doing, i know next time, i'm gon na do my tracks closer together. So that way i can get in a little bit more bundles. I thought that because i was using double wefts and because i was using two bundles and it was curly hair. It was going to be enough, but it just feels very lightweight on my head, um, so yeah and i definitely did sew through the weft. I know i know, don't come for me. A lot of people say do not sew through your wefts, but i feel like that is the only way that i can get it secure, especially when i'm doing it on my own head, it's very hard to secure the weft without um, without sewing through the track For me personally so yeah, that's all i did and then, when i got to the last piece i did it. I sold the track backwards. So when i flipped it over, you couldn't see any of the track and that just gave the illusion that the hair was just coming out of your scalp. So because i was trying to figure out how the heck am i going to do this because everybody else had a frontal or a um, full lace wig, but i'm like how can i do this with just a sew in like how can i make it to Where you can't see the track on the top of my head, so i just flipped my track: the opposite way and just sewn it that way and flipped it back over and it laid down perfectly fine and you could not see any of my hair um or Any of the tracks, or anything like that, so yeah, i'm just gon na. Let you guys watch me sew my hair in and do all that good stuff, and then i will come back when we get to the braids. This goes out to the beautiful girls. This goes out to beautiful okay, so, as you can see right here, once you flip it over, you literally cannot see any of the hair hold on i'm getting ahead of myself. I have to cut some extra crop boom. There you go, you cannot see any of the tracks or anything like that. So that's really good. I love this method. It was so easy you guys um so yeah. Let'S move on to the braids, i had a hard time figuring out how i wanted to do the braids and like what side. I wanted to do what pattern. So i kept looking at deer's picture this picture right here, i'll insert it because i really liked her braids and it seems like that's what everybody was doing. They have the sim the same style, so i was like i'm just use her braids as a reference. So i kept looking at her picture parting, one braid looking at her picture part another braid and eventually i got it down and it was super easy once i got that first part down, it was very, very easy, so i'm just literally parting, my hair. However, i wanted kind of like in triangles, and i think i only have like six or seven braids in my hair and it was super easy um. I did cut hair off of the weft from the the bundles and i don't know why i did that. Honestly, you don't need to do that. You could just use regular braiding hair and then, if you want, you can cut the weft off and add a curly piece to the end. I wasn't thinking like i said this is my first time doing this hairstyle. I don't think i've ever done any type of half up, half down style, so yeah, i'm gon na. Do that and then i'm just gon na take my edge control and we're gon na get to braiding. It'S super simple. I am doing the feed in method technique. So yeah i'm gon na. Let you guys watch me do that and if i have anything else to say i will pop back in and let y'all know i'm just looking at this uh. I know i said i was gon na pop back in later, but i'm just looking at myself, braid and i'm just like wow like my braids, are so neat like. I always think to myself. If my this is probably gon na sound crazy, but i'm always like, if my braids are this neat on myself, i can only imagine what my braids look like on my clients or what my clients think when they leave my chair and that's a really good feeling. Um but yeah, if you guys want me to do more hair videos on my channel, make sure you guys are watching this video commenting down below. Let me know that you guys want to see more hair videos um, because the way that i would know if you guys want to see more hair content for me is, if you guys, are interacting with this content so yeah, i changed my hair up so often So let me know if you guys want to see when these braids get old. If you want to see the next hairstyle that i do, i'm probably going to do like a ponytail at the top, so yeah. If you guys want to see that make sure y'all are commenting down below and letting me know, but um, i don't really have anything else to say. I don't think so. I'M gon na, let you guys watch this and i will be back when we get to finishing up the style all right, oh sunshine. I just love the way these braids came out. It was so easy they're. So neat it was such a simple hairstyle. If you're not familiar with the feed in method, you can honestly just do some regular cornrows. I like the feeding method because it looks more natural. It looks like my natural hair, but i'm so proud of myself and so impressed with this. Normally you guys, you guys don't understand. I have filmed hair content at least like 55 times, like no joke. I filmed so much hair content and i just am not familiar with that territory like i don't know the angles yet like just filming it filming hair tutorials. I don't know why i'm stuttering, filming hair tutorials is so different than filming makeup videos, because when you're doing hair videos you got to make sure you're getting different angles and my face looks different and it's just so many different things. So i always get discouraged. But i'm so happy that this video - i didn't get discouraged when i was doing my hair um, probably because my husband was in there like moral support and we were just talking and hanging out the whole time. So i felt a little bit more confident and comfortable because at first i was really struggling and i was like i'm not gon na film this hairstyle because it came out like trash honestly. I tried this hairstyle a few days ago and i just couldn't do it when i posted the poll on my instagram, i tried it and i was just over it, so i took it down and i'm happy that i tried it again because it came out so Good so yeah this, it was just so simple, so easy. Can we get it together? Yes, um all right yeah. So i went off camera and finished the rest of my braids and oh, my god. It looks so good, i'm trying not to scream in case you wearing headphones, but it came off so good. I was so happy like wow. I was so freaking happy, i'm so happy that it came out this good um. So right now, i'm just gon na part. It down the center in the back and i'm just going to detangle um, because the hair is very tangled right now i haven't done anything put any product in it and truthfully i don't put any product in my hair. I prefer the big bushy look but a tamed bushy look like i don't want it to just look. Matted like i want the curls to still be there when it dries, so i'm just gon na go in with some water and a powder brush. I probably should have added a little conditioner in there. That'S probably what i'm gon na do tomorrow when i wake up um but yeah, i'm literally just combing it out, and you always want to make sure you're combing your hair out from the ends to the top, because you know you get a lot of tangles and This hair was not cheap, it was pretty expensive and i wanted to last for quite a while. So i try to make sure i'm taking care of it. The same way, i would take care of my natural hair um, so yeah, i'm just detangling and adding water. I don't want it to be like soaking sloppy wet. I just want it to be wet enough to where i can manage it and comb through it, because this hair dries very quickly. You got if you know anything about curly hair. It dries quick, no matter what, if it's a wig, if it's your natural hair, it dries quick. So i didn't want it to be super soaking wet, but i wanted it to be wet enough to where it can re-dry and it can have a little definition in the curls. Oh my god, it just looks so good. Like i'm so happy. I can't. I know i've said this a million times, i'm so happy um, but yeah. If you guys are watching this video - and you have not subscribed to my channel - please consider subscribing it's free, it doesn't cost you anything, and it really helps me know that you guys are liking the content that i'm posting. So please subscribe to my channel and follow me on instagram. You guys. I would really appreciate it, i'm so active over on my instagram and that's honestly, where i chat with you guys, the most. So if you want to be friends, follow me over on my instagram um okay. So here is the part that i feel like this was the most stressful part to me, because i suck at baby hairs. Y'All already know i've been trying to do baby hairs for years, and it's so funny because i can do baby hairs on my clients all day long, but when it comes to doing them on myself, it's just something about it that i don't like like girl. These aren't even baby hairs. I made these myself. Okay, like i went in with my scissors, and i was like i'm gon na. Have me some long-ass adult baby hairs, because that's what i want so i'm just going in with some edge control and a little bit of pump it up hairspray and my edge control brush and rat tail comb. The rat tail comb really makes a huge difference. It really helps me out a lot when it comes time to like make the s curl or swoop it make it a circle, all that good stuff it comes out. It came out so good and that really helped me out a lot um, because i struggle with baby hairs. I don't know why, but i do um so yeah you guys i'm going to just let you guys finish watching. I don't have anything else to say, but again make sure you guys are subscribed to my channel and follow me over on my instagram. Let you there's no one else cause baby. We got chemistry, feelings, feelings. The universe has all right y'all. So this is the finished hairstyle and i'm so excited i feel like it came out so good like better than i expected. I did not expect to like it this much like this might be my new, like go-to hairstyle hairstyle, that i just be like i'll. Just do my hair like this and just keep it pushing because it's so easy um. One thing i can say is, i think, next time i will do my braids a lot longer and for some reason i don't know why i didn't think to just use regular braiding, hair and then add the curly hair. At the end, like i really cut the hair off the bundle and used it to feed in the hair, which isn't a problem, but i feel like i could have um just used regular braiding hair. I was just worried that the ends wouldn't look good and also next time, i'm gon na bring the braids um we'll bring the sew in a little bit higher up just so, i feel, like you, can see more of the sew-in i like it. I just feel like, like you, can't, really see the sew-in from the top. Does that make sense like it's kind of flat, but nonetheless i love it. I think it came out so cute and one thing i really like about this hairstyle is it's so versatile. So when the braids get old, i can take the braids out and just put everything in a ponytail up here and then do like um like a braid and then add extensions onto it. Like just add, like some extra bundles onto it. So i think that'll be super cute. I can redo the braids in a different style, so i'm loving it. I'M probably going to wear this for like a couple of weeks because, like i said i can do so many different hairstyles with it. So that's super cute and y'all know i'm still struggling with the baby hairs um, but yeah. I think this video was so like just different to do on my channel and i just feel so good about it so comment down below.
