Natural Hair: Curly Top: Roller Set On Mini Braids

Hey guys, so i tried a roller set on my mini braids. I didn't show me putting the rollers in, but this is how the rollers look the next morning, when i woke up i'm going to show you the takedown process, i'm just going to use a little bit of coconut oil on my hands to take down the rollers. I'M just going to just put it all over my hands and remove the rollers. I guess to try to add some shine to my hair, as you can see, as i'm removing the rollers i'm removing it in like a spiral motion to keep the curl formed and i'm gon na just do that throughout my whole entire head, so stay tuned foreign. So this is how it looks when i finished and i left one out of the rollers totally. So i have a straight piece, but that's okay, so i'm just going to go ahead and separate those curls even further, i'm just removing one braid at a time and just twirling it around my finger and separating it and i'm going to go throughout my whole entire Head and separate the curls like that, so this is the final result. Um i just put a part off to the side and bobby pinned it, and this is how it looks so yeah. I hope you enjoy peace, peace, you guys, so i wanted to come in and show you guys the final result of my roller set. Um, i'm sorry! I didn't show you guys how i actually rolled my hair, but it was just plain and simple rolling up the hair. I didn't do anything extraordinary or anything special. I didn't even add product. When i rolled my hair, i just took my roller, which i'll show you. I took my sponge roller small sponge roller. I don't even know if these are the smallest, but this is a small sponge roller and i took my braids like maybe five of them, and i just wrapped them around and rolled them like that. Clipped it in place did that all around my head and then when i took them out in the morning, i made sure to unravel, unravel them and in a spiral motion and that's what i got so yeah. That'S what i did. I didn't add any product when i was rolling them after i finished my whole entire head. I lightly spritzed a little bit of water, a little bit of water on my hair just to um. I guess help them set and i slept on them. It was kind of uncomfortable, but not really, because the sponge rolls are a lot softer than like perm rods, or it don't get as bulky as flexi rods. So it was a little uncomfortable. Not really i got up in the morning took them out and you guys saw the results of what it looked like out, and this is what i did to. I ended up pinning it like just taking random sections of my hair and pinning it off to the right up and off to the right. So this is what it looks like, and i really like it. I really like you guys. I like it when it was out too, but i was like feeling like i needed to get all dressed up and really like really dressed up without being really like jazzed up, and i wasn't trying to get all jazzed up so um. I ended up just pinning it up so yeah and i wanted to come in and show the results and share results with you guys, um. I really love the fact that our hair can really shrink up like this, because it's just it's just awesome to me, because i can wear it like really short one day and the next day. Really big and people are always asking me: did you cut your hair? Like people always think i cut my hair and then when they see me two weeks later, they're like oh, my god, your hair grows so fast like and i think it's hilarious, but you know - and i always tell them, though it's just that my hair was shrunken. It'S not that um, my hair grew overnight. It'S just my hair was shrunk and i was wearing it in a shrunken state and then i decided to wear it in a more stretched state. So that's what happens. Um. I get that a lot and i really think that's funny, but yeah. I just use a little bit of coconut oil to unravel the um to take the roll. The the i can't talk to take the rollers off of my braids um yeah, and i got these really tight, tight, tight curls and i guess, as the days progress it will get looser and looser. I'M not going to do anything to it. I'M just going to throw on a scarf and wake up in the morning and that's it or satin cap and wake up in the morning. I'M not going to do anything special to it. If it looks jacked in the morning i'll just wet it and - and you know my braids will lay down so um. I wanted to share this with you guys and i hope you guys try and if you do try it please share.
