Hey guys, welcome back to my channel surprise is going to be a hair video. I know it's been so long since i posted a hair video, but i wanted to share with you guys what i've been doing with my hair. You guys know i've been so busy with the move and everything and we're actually in hope in a hotel right now. So if i'm talking quietly it's because cora's sleeping - and i don't want her to wake up because i still need to wash my hair, so i wanted to share with you guys how long my hair has gotten, because this is the longest my hair has ever been. I'Ve been trying to make an appointment to get my hair cut, but the place that i want to get my hair cut is actually pretty booked. I haven't been really doing much with my hair. You guys know. I don't have time to do my hair, so i've just been using the products that i've been using and i just want to share with you guys those products that i've been using. So that's what today's video is going to be about. I have a lot of back content if you guys noticed i've been posting like a lot of old videos, because i've been recording it's just. I haven't been able to edit and post, but now that i'm in a hotel, i'm able to do that. Sorry about my hair, as of right now, my hair actually has been in this braid for quite some time. I'M gon na go ahead and take out these braids being all over the place, but i'm gon na go ahead and take my braids out before cora wakes up, so i'm just gon na go ahead and take the braids out i've. Like i said, i've been putting my hair in braids because it's so much easier to pretty much manage my hair. Like i said, i don't leave my hair out curly anymore as of right now, because back then i was in hawaii and it was kind of hot and why so that's why i always had my hair like up, but now that we're in san diego? It'S a lot cooler, so i could see my hair being down most of the time, but the problem is my hair is so long that it gets caught in. Like you know, when you go in the car, it gets caught in pretty much everything, especially my clothes baby bags, and things like that. So i like to put my hair up and out of the way, especially cora she likes to pull my hair still. So i just try to make sure that um, my hair is up and out of the way you guys already know. I think i mentioned this in a couple of few of my videos where i why the reasons why i don't leave my hair down - and i haven't been doing like hair reviews - is because, oh my gosh, i hardly can keep my hair curly um, but yeah this Hairstyle has been in for like two almost hitting three weeks, so i needed to wash my hair because my scalp is dirty yeah. So this is the front part of my hair and i have to like comb through my hair because it allows like i have hair. That'S coming, i can see that i have the hair. That'S coming out. That'S you know. You know when you braid your hair, you have like an accumulation of hair that just what's up in your hair, so i'm just going to take that out. You guys can see that it's like a lot of hair, so yeah, like i said, i've been keeping my hair in braids um, it's so much easier and for some reason i think the products that i'm also using my hair has grown quite a bit and that's Why i was saying like i need to at least cut my hair all the way to like the mid back, because my hair is just too long, and i want to be able to wear my hair. I can wear my hair, like i said long like this, but it's just too long, it's kind of overwhelming, so i like to keep my hair up and out of the way, like i said, yeah, i just want to cut my hair just a little bit because It need my hair is in need of a haircut because i can tell um it needs a haircut and i haven't cut my hair in like two years. Not even i think i trimmed my i'm not sure. If i trim my hair last year, i don't remember, but my scalp is very dirty guys um. I do have a video of me braiding my hair and that's going to come out later. I had that video ready for to post, but then somehow something happened where it deleted my content. So now i have to redo that video, but it should be good but yeah just gon na. So i just run my fingers through because i have a lot of excess hair that needs to come out. Like i said my hair has been in for three weeks, so i have an accumulation of hair. You can see that so i just throw it. I do it outside of the tub because i don't want it to get caught like in the bath room um drain, so i just take my hair out and then i'm going to show you guys the full content on my hair since i finished taking these braids Out my hair has been in for three weeks, but if you guys can see it's kind of like dirty, but it gets the normally i get. It gets stuck here like accumulation of dirt or like buildup gets caught here. So i have to like literally detangle it before i jump in the shower, because it's very hard for me to take it out, while i'm in the shower, because then it gets knotted up. So i just make sure to do it when i'm out of the shower. So so the chamber that i'm currently using and the conditioner is from curl smith vivid tones, vibrancy, shampoo and the curl perfecting conditioner, because i know some of you asked me like what am i currently using right now as of right now. This is what i'm using, because i like how it fills in my hair, and i also like that the conditioner helps to detangle my hair. So that's why i've been using this, so this is pretty much what i've been using while we've been traveling and things like that, so i just really love the product and i love how it smells. It'S already has all that gunk under me. It'S the soap! So that's pretty much what i'm using for shampoo and conditioners. One other thing that i've been using is the retro rich queen of the now hair repair mask now. I'Ve been using this as a mask for my hair after i shampoo my hair. I go ahead and put this in and then i use the conditioner to follow on after that yeah. I just really love this one. I already did a review on this product, but i just really love how it smells smells like frosting product just really like how this is and the thickness. So this is what another thing that i've been using while i've been traveling, so i'm going to go ahead and wash my hair. I wanted to show you guys. Sorry, it's like foggy. I didn't want to open the door, but i want to show you guys how long my hair is before i style my hair. So i just want to share with you guys i'm going to back this up a little bit, so you guys can see how long my hair is. Okay, so yeah, that's how long my hair is guys so bear with me. Normally, once i get out the shower, i go ahead and apply a leave-in. Now the leave-in i've been using is the royal roots leave-in conditioner i've been using this to see a little goes a long way. I always have to buy a new one, but i use a little bit like this and i go ahead and just style from to the bottom of my hair like this, and then i work my way to the top whatever's left over my fingers. I go ahead and just like look at that and then i grab some more and then i just rub it. This will go a little bit, but mainly i'm putting product towards the ends and the bottom of my hair like this, and this really softens my hair. That'S why i really like using this leave-in and it softens my hair, and it helps me to like go through my hair and it just. I just really like, overall how my hair feels when i apply this specific product as my weaving and then i use a comb and i follow it up to make sure i don't have any kinks or anything like that. So just go ahead and do that here. The next product is the last thing that i put in my hair and it's the retro rich hair brush um. I talked about this before because then like i said this is very thick and spongy like i really love the product. It'S like spongy, you guys can see yourself, it's like really good. I really love this product and then i just go ahead and hit the the tops, because i'm about to braid my hair, i hit the top and i go all the way around just dry. I don't have my microfiber towel with me right now, so i'm just gon na use a regular towel. I know hit the side right here and then um, i'm going to braid this front part because i've been wanting to braid this front part like right here, braid this top part like that. So i'm just going to braid this part and then i'm going to braid. Like half so i'm just going to take a little bit of the chibi butter and the empress hair butter and just go at the top all the way to the bottom and detangle. This part like this and i'm just going to braid this part. I got ta have a crap on my head, oh crap, so so now i'm going to go ahead and braid just going to go down the center of my head all the way down, because i'm going to just french braid my hair. I think that's the middle. You know whatever i don't really care about the bag, so i'm just gon na put this up in a bun, i'm going to use this hair tie just in case it comes out. Okay, all right! So now i'm just going to go ahead and follow up with my comb. So i'm just going to make sure my hair is detangled before i start braiding, because it's a pain when my hair is like tangled and i'm trying to do. A french braid like a dutch braid, so i'm gon na go ahead. Alright pull some of the hair because i'm gon na have a lot of hair out, so i'm gon na grab more of the empress hair butter, and this is the first time i'm doing this. Hairstyle, like with this braid right here but whatever so, i'm just gon na go ahead and hit the top right here just to seal my ends, and i don't have my little skinny comb, so i'm just bear with me. This is not a hair tutorial. This is just me styling, my hair, because you know i always end up doing braids and i'm tired of doing like the one, the braids that i always do. So this is something new. So i'm just gon na go ahead like this and just start braiding, i'm gon na go ahead and grab some chibi. I keep calling it cheepy butter, but it's empress butter, but it has chili powder in it. So and then i'm gon na go ahead and smooth this part right here. Oh my god, all right, so i'm just gon na start right here. Oh my gosh guys! This is like the hardest pulling the hair down. Oh my god! That'S why i need to cut my hair. It is stuck okay, so the bottom here is loose, but i'm not about to redo my braid. I'M really tired, all right guys, that's pretty much it on my hair, so yeah! This is pretty much the end result of my hair um. I did a two-part braid to bring one and this because i wanted to do a head, wrap style like right here, but - or i could put it like this and then wrap this around and do like another headband like that um. Something like that. But yeah. That'S pretty much it on this hairstyle. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. It'S been a while. Emily Monroe: When I was younger my hair would only grow down a little past my shoulders. I was constantly losing hair and it was extremely thin. I use to wash my hair every other day and use what ever shampoo. Then 7 year's year's ago I started washing it once a week maybe once every other week, and adding vitamin d3 oil to my scalp leaving it in after washing it with dove bar soap. At night I put in a leave in conditioner. My hair is now past my butt, extremely thick and heavy and I absolutely LOVE it. I haven't cut my hair in seven years and won't, and I only brush my hair when I wash it. The one thing I don't like about having long hair is for me my hair is so long that it feels like dead weight. I can't really style it in cute styles anymore or even wear a simple ponytail because it's so heavy. When I would wear it in a ponytail I would get massive headaches. So now I just do one simple long braid. But if anyone is struggling with growing their hair out you guy's should try this technique.
