To recap, in this video you will see RaDona show you how to do a Shoulder Haircut for Natural Curly Hair | Over 60 Hairstyles. If you have hair like our cute client Debby, this haircut is perfect for you. A lot of people have a hard time cutting and styling curly hair. Sometimes if you cut it too short it frizzes up but if you have it too long it just “flops” there and then you also have to avoid the “awkward length”. This haircut is super cute, not awkward and the perfect length to avoid all of those problems that you might face. This is a super cute length as well, not too short, but not too long either.

For products used in this hairstyle, RaDona will pull out all of her tips and tricks with Monat. Monat has a wide range of products to make sure that they cater to all of your hair needs and hair types. In this case, RaDona is going to use some “magic” products that are for curly hair. It is really hard to find good, healthy products for curly hair. To start with the styling, RaDona starts with using Monat’s Root lifter. With this, it will help lift the roots up from her clients hair to help make the roots lift and appear thicker. This way it also adds some volume to her clients thinning hair. Then RaDona adds a little bit of leave in conditioner. This is a nourishing leave-in conditioner designed to revive each hair strand using the smae proven ingredients and technologies as the other Monat products. You will only want to use just a little bit of it since it is so concentrated. You will then add Monat’s rejuvenique light oil into the leave-in conditioner. The Rejuvenique light oil is a luxurious lightweight version of the proprietary formula, blended to meet the needs of delicat, fragile, fine hair and oily-to-combination skin. For curly hair, it is a little bit different than straight hair. It needs a lot more moisture to the hair. That is why we are adding more hydrating products to this style than we usually do for naturally straight hair. The mix of the oil and leave-in conditioner will really help fix any friz and condition the hair. Making it the perfect duo for moistening the hair. RaDona then uses Monat’s Curl Cream. Monat’s Curl Cream defines and conditions all curl types, for frizz free, long lasting, natural looking, manageable tresses. Monat’s curl cream is the best styling cream for curly hair. You will then finish with Monat’s Refinish Control Hairspray is a flexible light to medium hold hairspray taht flawlessly completes your style. This hairspray offers workable, easy to brush through support and adds volume without weighing the hair down.

It'S obviously for natural curl and she's. Actually my sister-in-law's mom, so she's super cute, but anyway, so we have a natural curl. So I thought it would be fun to show you guys a cut she's, just wanting it kind of trend, so I'm just gon na trim. It but I wan na show you the cut that I'm doing for it that works good. She just crunches it and anyway I will show you that in just a second, so I'm going to pull up and like the top of her ear, I'm gon na pull that up. Okay, alright, we're gon na just hold this straight now, a little bit longer. It'S it's kind of more of an a-line. It'S not wait, wait sharp! If that makes sense, it's it's just it's really good for curl the way you know just to have that lid. So it's up a little bit here. It gradually kind of comes down. Okay. So I'm going to take another section by the way I used sake shares. I really like them. That'S f NK I so you can see yeah. My fingers are angled down a little bit, see just like that on this site. Okay, all right now! This should reach the link. Yeah see that's not reaching the link because we have layers, but so now I'm going to bridging the sides. Okay, now that we have the length and so you're just going to trim that a tiny bit I like to point cut into it, I'm not just going straight across just going to point cut into that. Okay, now so curl can be um. You can do curly, hair different ways. Obviously some you want to keep. You know more one length to hold it down. If it's too curly, it depends on what style they not others. It'S really good to have layers. You know Debbie's super good to have leaders she's been wait wearing it um curly a lot anyway, which is it's so super cute hunter uh, but when she does do it straight, these layers are fun because she can curl them. So it gives you that you know the loose curl that didn't have layers in the bottom. It'S really cute! So, okay! So I'm just coming a ninety degree angle, with these layers, just gon na hold the straight out trim net, and then I go to my next section. The way I know how much to cut off here obviously is to grab the little piece that I had turned before. That is your guideline. Okay, usually, I always have to get different money. Okay, you can see how I'm just kind of pulling this out. They just trim that, and you guys can see how long these layers are. You know, say the hairs longer you're going to see you're going to drop the air to see where you want your layers. To start. That'S how short you go! Okay! I just wanted to. Let you know that because, obviously not everybody's hair is going to be the length of Debbie's so anyway, that's that's. How you decide you just going to hold it up and watch it. You know where it's gon na fall. Okay, let me turn around to do to the side right here. Her hair has been growing in tongue, so we just colored it and just need to trim because it's growing so fast. Okay. So that's what I do on this topic and just holding everything up. Just a minute wait cutting into that and then all bringing up all the layers here in a mohawk section there and remember, if you want it a little bit longer to follow along you angle, your fingers up see that if you want shorter, then what you're going To do is you're going to come and you're going to come from this peg point and go straight across, but we wanted a little longer in the front, so I eat with my fingers. Oh okay, now for the front we're just going to come in we're just gon na barely barely just trim first like so, and what that is is just move your your shears just a little bit at a time like open and close up. Okay, all right resting with her big area just doing a little bit here so and I'm going this way and if you want, I think you come this way and you can open you know and do it this way. So whatever you feel comfortable with totally great now, Debbie doesn't eat texture this time. So we're talking a texture. If you want more volume, you're gon na want to texture, okay or fit those too thick or something that's. What you're gon na want to take your texturizing chairs and do that? Okay, awesome new product for curly hair, awesome, awesome! Debbie! Do you want to explain a little bit? How much you love it? I do. I started to use this curl yeah, so she's been using. It for about four months now: she's yeah. So that's about all! You need um yeah, and it's worked really well for me. So in fact yeah it just enhances my curl and makes it so it's not frizzy or anything and awesome. Awesome. I'M gon na do a tiny bit more in your front. Yeah, it's very concentrated, isn't it you don't have to you know I could use a watt right. So that's nice, but yeah, I'm glad you brought that up. It definitely does eliminate frizz, which obviously for curly hair. That is huge right right so and Debbie she should have her anyway. I don't have right there user, but and I mean with curly hair, I'm pretty sure you have one yeah, yeah and you're gon na want to come up and the other thing to do. I love love this new hairspray, so you can spray it thinner straight. I love it's, not sticky, but it holds so right. Do I chose that hairspray? You love this house. Yeah yeah. It'S not it's a light foam. Yes, yes, it's a light. Hold it's not you're, not gon na get that old, Super Sprint Cup. Look. You know, you're. Just gon na get a really pretty girl, helmet hair, yes, but yeah, the less you could mess with curly hair like prep, another, the same old. You know, lonely on the blow-dryer, obviously just a lot. It was fun. She was getting pretty dark back through here. So we brightened it through here and then we added a little vibrators so that that is absent. Okay, all right! You know what I'm going to do and sprinkle more time and then we're just going to kind of it's actually really good to. Let your air urge your hair air-dry when it's curly it just is is much much better, so you can just add that crow creme hairspray a tiny bit of heat, and then you know what's gon na dry it and you can just go from there, but anyway, I'M going to turn her around and we appreciate her letting us you don't do this so anyway. Okay, I really appreciate you guys. I know a lot of people have been asking you about our product so down below. There'S a link that you can you don't push onto to get it. You can talk to us about it. If you want, you know, you know us. We will help you out with that, but yeah you'll definitely well anyway. The other thing that that we have done now, which is extremely fun, I'm really excited, and it's been working really good. We have a new look for the thing that said that talks about samples cake. We are doing free samples. We need to get some in the styling stuff. We don't have that yet, but we do have it in three different, shampoo and conditioners, and the masks for your hair and oil. So anyway, click on that get your free samples. You will have to pay shipping on the samples, so I can get like seven or something like that. You click on it um and anyway it will put you through a little here quiz and then it will send you what you need for your hair. So it's really cool. So when you get that I will give with you, I came over it. You know how to use it or whatever, but it's super fun, so I'm excited excited for that. So anyway, thanks again for watching, please like share and subscribe, and we will talk to you soon. Thanks
