In today's, step-by-step, hair tutorial for short, long or medium hair, I'm going to show you how to Dutch headband braid your own hair to create 3 casual, everyday braided hairstyles for beginners.
I love headband braids because anyone can do them, whether your hair is curly, wavy, straight, or is layered. Moreover, these look beautiful on all facial shapes - square, oval, diamond, or on a round face.
Braided Headband half-up updo styles became hugely popular when Jennifer Aniston started wearing it. Today, simple headband braids can be seen on teenagers and busy moms because it's an edgy and fun hairstyle, which takes about 5 minutes to do in the morning.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to do a faux waterfall Dutch braid headband and 2 double braid headband hairstyles.

Hi guys, I'm Tina from make it wearable and today we're going to create three more to happen. Braid hairstyle, and I'm also going to show you guys how I got these curls for this tutorial. I have on my ombre hair extensions from Estelle secret to make my hair a little lighter and also a lot thicker. So, let's start with the heat protectant meet the HSI thermal protectant with argan oil. This product is going to save you guys so much time in the morning, because the spray literally dries as soon as it lands on your hair. What you're, seeing here today is my usual heat, protectant, routine, that I normally do at night, because I hate waiting for the spray to dry. So I just do it right out of the shower, so I can just let it air dry and here's the latest hair tool from HSI before piece, interchangeable, curling wand set with solid ceramic place and all the modern technology that you would ever need for your hair. These sets also come with their concentrate argan oil, which I also found to be outstanding for today's curls after spraying, my hair with my usual headset 22, because I do have hard to curl hair. I basically curled all of my hair away from my face using the second largest barrel from the HSI and since I'm not doing anything particularly different or unique, we're just going to speed through this. Okay, just curl all of your hair away from your face and if you're using the same kit as me, then we're going to be twinsies. So this set curled my hair quite well, but the curls look like any other curl. You would get from any other set. So, honestly, carefully, my initial thoughts were mostly blab, whatever not really impressed. I don't know if I'm going to use this, however 10 minutes went by and my boring curls turned into this big fluffy amazing, shiny curls, and it lasts for days you guys if you already have a curling iron set. You should upgrade through this as soon as possible when companies send me stuff. They also provide you guys with a discount code, so check the info box below and make sure to take advantage of it before the code expires. To may operate a lot thicker. I move the hair extensions that were used on the sides to the top of my head. Then I use this sexy hair texturizing spray clay, which I do not like at all. So instead get the sexy, hair matte dry wax. I think that works so much better than this texturising spray clay array so for the first headband Rhea clip up the back portion of your crown then make a deep side part to start a Dutch braid. So we're going to take some hair and split it into three to start a normal braid by taking these sized strands under the middle strand and to Dutch braid basically means we're going to do a normal braid after adding in hair to the side strand. So we're going to take some hair from the bottom and add it to the bottom strand and cross it under the middle. Add hair from the top to the top strand and we're going to cross it under the middle strand. Again, add hair from the bottom to the bottom piece and cross it under the middle piece. Add hair from the top to the top piece and cross it under the middle piece bottom to the bottom and cross it under the middle top. The top and we're going to cross it under the middle so basically we're doing a normal braid. But after adding hair to the side pieces, okay, you can pull out the sides to make the headband braid thicker and fuller, or you can wear it tightly, braid it. If you like, I find both looks beautiful equally, so do whatever you like with the style you guys can either brave this all the way down towards your ears or do what I'm doing, which is braiding it towards the back. When I hit the eyebrow level, then tie the braid to a small piece of hair from the back, so you won't have to use bobby pins. Therefore, my life's I to do a Donald Trump bang flip to start a normal braid when you get to the ends of the pre tuck, the Donald Trump braid under the main break. To hide the ends then incorporate some hair to the braid, so you can tie it in place or you can use bobby pins to secure it. Whatever makes it easier for you guys do that and then simply release the clip top section to cover the elastic band and for this next flow, waterful headband braid. First again clip away your back and then we're going to Dutch braid, our bangs to the middle of our forehead before switching to a normal braid and after tying the ends of your braids. I think Dan we're going to start taking small sections of hair from the crown to loop it through a braid, but you guys have to insert your fingers from the top to the bottom to pull up the hair so that your braid does not get all twisted Up must lie flat or it's gon na. Look ridiculous right. Just watch me here we're going to take another section, create an opening in the next stitch, insert your fingers from the top to pull up the hair and for the last one we're simply going to add all to this waterfall braid version we're going to take some Hair from the waterfall braid and some hair from the side to start a normal braid going towards the other elastic band and then we're going to tie the second braid at least two inches below the first waterfall braid to create separation. And we're basically done.
