In this, DIY, step-by-step, elegant, bridal / wedding hair tutorial, learn how to make an easy, formal, curly, side-swept, half-up, half-down updo with a romantic, cascading curls on yourself / on your own hair for short, medium, or long hair.
In this chic and romantic, fancy hair styles for homecoming, prom, or a wedding, I've incorporated a 24" inch hair extensions to create a voluminous, side-swept curls ponytail. The bottom section was tucked in creating a French twist chignon effect, and the soft curls were done by using a 1" curling iron.

Hi, my cyber friends, my name is Tina, and today I'm going to show you how to do an elegant, formal, half updo using the irresistible me hair extension and one of they will win a full set of it after curling, your hair, with a one-inch curling iron, Make a side part and clip away these sides and split it back into three sections: we're going to work on the back sections one by one at each time, get to a new section. Remember that we always tease the roots first, which I've edited out for this, and if you don't know how to tease the hair correctly, to create volume and click here to see my last week's hair tutorial. Okay. So, let's start with the middle section after teasing, the hair make a side ponytail and pull out the sides to create a slight bump, and then, if you want a fuller and longer ponytail, attach the hair extensions by wrapping it around the ponytail. Today, I'm using the irresistible me hair extensions, they're, one of the very few companies that gives you a piece that is so thick that is equal to about four weft and one. If you're using another brand, I recommend wrapping at least four weft to get the same thickness now undo. The bottom section, tease the roots and create a bottom French twist by rolling the hair up and wrapping it around the ponytail and pinning it into place. You know your way, I feel like the day, you're the non-existent, the top section, I'm going to use a hair patting, also known as a hair bump it so after teasing the hair, pin it into place before smoothing your hair over it. Okay, next undo one of the sides and we're going to start with the side that has less hair, take a small section of hair from the top and pin it right above our bottom French twist with a bobby pin and then with the ends. We'Re going to wrap it around two of our fingers to create a soft curl before painting both openings of the curl with two bobby pins, and then we're going to take a hair, pin and pin the curl down so that your curl isn't sticking straight out. So basically, this is all there is to this hairstyle we're going to do the same technique for the rest of the hair. Now for the Heaviside, the same as before, tease the roots. So there is something for your bobby pins to hold on. To give it a twist away from your face before pinning it in place and then with the ends twisted round two fingers before pinning it like like same thing as before, and that's pretty much it. If you're doing this on yourself, you might have missed some hair on the back, I sure did so just grab the hair and twist it around your fingers to create a soft curl and pin them up now for the giveaway rules.
