Long lasting Wedding / Prom curls - hairstyles for long hair & hairstyles for medium hair
Hi guys today, I'm gon na be showing you some tips on how to get curls to last all night long and survive dancing, whether it be prom or wedding. First, I'm taking a dime-sized amount of cheese, silk infusion which should strengthen soften and protect your hair against damage, and I'm just gon na put that mainly on the ends of my hair. Next, I'm taking Aussie awesome volume, maximum hold mousse and putting that throughout my hair. From the root to the tips - but this is gon na do is help hold your curl in for much longer than if you just use hairspray alone, because this is going to be applied before you curl. So it's gon na lock in that curl from the very moment you have apply heat to your hair. Next, I'm taking a paddle brush and this is going to distribute the product throughout my hair evenly. Finally, I'm taking dove heat defense therapy for additional protection. For my hair against the heat of the blow-dryer, and also the curling iron, now just blow-dry your hair, as you normally would. Next, I'm using the reming's pearl curling iron, the curling iron you choose in the very important or the longest-lasting curls you're gon na want a curling iron has a barrel, that's less than an inch. In this case, mine gets starts about around an inch and gets smaller and smaller until it gets to be about a half an inch. The reason you want a smaller curling iron is because the smaller the curls, the longer they're going to hold up very big curling irons produce waves that will fall out over time, but a very small curling iron will produce a tight curl that will only loosen slightly As you can see, I've put my hair half up and I'm now wrapping my hair around the curling iron and in a direction. That'S towards my face on the next curl I'm going to direct the curl around the curling iron so that it's going away from my face, see I'm wrapping the curl away from my face versus towards my face, like the last girl by alternating the curl pattern. The curls won't get completely wrapped up in each other and they'll stay free of each other. The final curl should be directed away from your face. Now. Do the other side of your hair the same exact way, let down a second layer of care and put the rest up continue, curling your hair in opposite directions, just as you've done at the lower level when you finally reach the top you're gon na want to Curl all of your curls going away from your face, because this is the most flattering also you're going to want to use larger chunks of hair so that the curls are a little bit looser than the tighter curls on the bottom. You you once you get to your bangs, wrap it around the larger part of the curling iron. This will act to just flip your bangs out of your face and give them a bit of a way. The final step is to brush through your curls once with a paddle brush. This will give them a looser softer and more natural look and I'm going to use Aussie volumes maximum hold hairspray to give the curls a finishing hold. These curls should last you all night long now that I've shown you how to get Phoebe's long-lasting curls. asksash88: @jessegirl147 haha yeah one time I did...it takes practice and you should definitely use the glove at first but i find it slows me down and its hard to hold onto the hair with it
