Sometimes people ask me if I have any good home remedies for how to deal with curly hair, and really, I just have one. I would say a lot of things that we've tried in the past for curly hair end up being really, really heavy and way too much of everything. So the only thing I really recommend is if you don't have colored hair, I would try a vinegar rinse.

You would take maybe two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, and then mix it up with about two cups of warm water. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual, and then run the vinegar rinse through your hair. Then leave it on for anywhere from two to ten minutes. Then give it a nice rinse.

What it does is it closes down the hair shaft so that you don't have so many exposed, frizzy ends. It adds a lot of great shine and polish to it. It will also help with clarifying the hair, which is why I don't recommend it if you have colored hair, because it will clarify and remove any kind of buildup that you might have on the hair.

So if you're feeling like you can't get your hair clean enough, that's a great solution for it. If you spend a lot of time in the ocean or the pool, vinegar rinse might be just what you need.

That's about the only home remedy I would definitely recommend to you. Try out that apple cider vinegar rinse.
