This tutorial will teach you how to do a really simple twist in half up style. I like doing this, whether my hair is and soft undone waves or something a little bit curlier like what you're seeing me wearing right now, if you'd like to watch the tutorial to get these curls, you can click right here in the video or you can click Right below the video, I will include a link there as well, instead of long times. I'Ve done these really ring. Lady curls and I have to say it's been really fun, so I made it with the holidays in mind something a little fancier, but I might be curling. My hair like this. For often it's really fun to have these bouncy playful curls anyway, let's get into today's tutorial, so you can see how I prepped my hair. If you watch the other tutorial for these flirty curls and I'm going to use my comb and add a little bit of teasing at the crown just to add a little pop teasing also provides a great foundation for wherever you will put bobby pins in. So this is a half up. The bobby pins are going to live about the middle back of my head, so if I tease there and then stick pins in that, it will lock much better than if it was just a pin. Word should just be going in like smooth silky hair and now I'm just teasing on the side to add a little bit of lift, but I don't need to be too precise with it. The curls are nice and full to begin with. So what you'll be doing is layering twists of hair over top of one another, make sure you don't twist them too tight you'll completely lose the point of the style if you hold it too tightly so when you're, putting your bobby pins in make sure you put Them into the twist, as if you're putting a cap on the end of a pen, and if you put them in that way, the twists will hold really well and you don't necessarily need it to be really tight. As long as the bobby pins are doing their job, I will alternate from side to side with not much thought or plan. I want the twists to not look symmetrical and thought-out, but instead just softly layered over top of one another. You finish with a good bit of hairspray, I'm using kenra volume 25. This is a nice firm haul, that's label and forgiving it's not like spray glue, but since the bobby pins are holding everything in there securely but softly a firmer hold hairspray is best to make sure your style will not fall out. I hope you enjoyed this hairstyle. If you want to see any others, you can visit the small things blog com. I love seeing photos of the Styles you have recreated. PrettyLittleAsya: Hi, I really love this tutorial! What would you recommend to maintain the volume of the twists, because I have fine hair? I find that whenever I try something like this, it either exposes my scalp or loses its volume after an hour. :(

Anna Rozsa: Very nice.. perfect for my rustic wedding and my lack of hair style skills.. thank you

Amanda Okorie: That couldn't be more simple but is so freakin perfect! I have thin hair like your friend that you did a tutorial on otherwise I'd be all over recreating this one. But I will be sharing it for sure!!

Julie Bush: Love your intro!! I love your tutorials too! :)

Bug Tussle Gazette: This is sooo pretty!! But bobby pins are the absolute bane of my existence..I was born without the bobby pin function gene. I can't pick them up from a flat surface. I can't open them without them slingshotting out of my hand--Or bending them into an 'X' shape. If I ever manage to get one in my hair, it's like a waiting game to see how long they stay in. Sometimes they are too loose and won't hold my hair at all. Other times they are stuck in REALLY good but randomly come flying out of my head like a dart! So I have to use so many bobby pins to get my hair to stay in place that it looks like I am wearing a metal hair net. It's so sad :(

Susan Warwas: Just lovely! Thank you!

KELLI B: Love your lipstick... i can't wear red but I love how it looks on other people. Have you done a root perm before? Would you recommend it?
