Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel, so in today's video i'm going to be trying to get heatless curls overnight using socks. Now one of my previous videos, i did share with you how i do my heatless curls normally and that's using a headband. So it's going to be interesting to see if the results from this video are anything compared to the results in that video. So let's get so. I know heatless curls are a massive craze at the minute. There'S been a lot of different, very what's the words creative ways on how to get heatless curls, i mean there's a massive one at the minute, with tick-tock and using the like ropes or like tie from your dressing gown, i'm yet to try that i'm a bit Apprehensive because i'm not a massive fan of the results, but who knows, i might might do a video on that. So never say never, but i have seen a few videos on sock curls before so i just wanted to give it a try and see if it actually works. I have three pairs of socks here, long socks, ideally a bit longer than mine. I suggest so that's six socks in total. If you can do the max and and basically what we're gon na try and do is wrap the hair around the socks one going away and then one going towards per sock. Now i've only ever seen. People do this in four sections, but i actually want to try it and get like tighter curls using six sections. Sorry i had an absolute mind blank there, so i did wash my hair last night and just let it air dried, and here we have the big frizzy, not wavy, not curly, not straight mess. Put some coconut oil in my hair. I'M actually running out i'll, be surprised if anything even comes out there. We go i like to do this before just so that my hair is nice and smooth when we put it in whatever heatless curl contraption we're doing i'm just going to tie this side off. So that i can focus on the right side, starting from the back, i'm going to section it in three different sections. I'M gon na hold this in my mouth and then tie this on and then tie that one over as well. Usually, i'd use a clip, but i just can't find my clip. So apologies if i'm not looking straight into the camera, i'm looking in the viewfinder, because my mirror is here. So you know i'm having to find the right place to look grab two sections get your long sock place it in the middle and then somehow like fasten the sock in the middle and what you're going to be doing i'll. Do it like demonstrate it without the sock is curling this away, and then you put the back curl to the front so front to the back back to the front over the sock and then under the sock. Then now back, you put it under the sock to then the front and then the now the original front back to the back under the sock as well, and then you do it over so you're, basically alternating front to back over and under the sock. If that makes sense so going to fasten that in there and grab the back section, bring it to the front, then loop it under front to back back to front. Oh i've got a bit confused i'll. No, what have i done? I think i've done it continue. All the way down to the bottom of your hair, so you have nothing left, then grab a clear elastic. I like to choose a clear elastic just because i don't want lots of bumps from a hair tie and just tie the end. Let'S just leave it in there section number two divide into two front to back back to front when it gets close to the ends i like to brush them out just so they are smooth. I don't want them to be all tangled and not have a nice curl if this actually does curl my hair. So this is what we're looking like cute. I do like the fact that one curl is going to be going away. The next curl is going to be going towards the face that would just prevent the hair from like the curls from linking together linking together. You got it got it going in. On the other side, we're going to repeat all the steps. I just thought i'd zoom. You in for the last one just to show you again in two sections and we're done. Who knows who knows what this is gon na come out like, so the time is actually eight o'clock. I would usually do this straight before i'm going to bed, but i'm actually really really tired, and i know that i wanted to film this video for you guys. So i want to get this out the way, so i'm just going to chill for a bit and then go to bed sleep in it and then i will check back in with you in the morning and hopefully fingers crossed. We have lovely curls because i don't want rubbish hair if, if your hair's bad you're having a bad day, let's just put it that way. Oh my god, i'm a poet that rhymes good morning, everyone, i have just woken up. Also, i've woken up with a massive spot in between my eyebrows, so that is nice. Let me just point that out for you, if you didn't already realize all the hair seems to be in play, yeah all the hair seems to be in place. It wasn't actually that too uncomfortable to sleep in um. You just have to kind of position it you don't want one. I have piercings um, like quite painful piercings on my ear, so i didn't want to sleep on an actual sock itself. So i just like positioned it and i'm not gon na lie that did actually help, because it prevented me from sleeping on my piercings, so pros praise of having soccer girls. There seems to be quite a few. Hopefully, one of them is actually having heatless curls by the end of it. I can't seem to get the hair ties off. Oh my god, it would probably be easier to just cut them, but i don't have any scissors at the minute. Okay, okay, i can't really pull down i'm just gon na unravel it. Ah, no, oh, my god. Okay, i'm not gon na touch it until all the curls are out okay, this one i can pull. I have curls look like that. One is looking a little bit dodgy but um. Hopefully it will all come together when we give a good old brush through okay, okay, i'm just going to go ahead and like shake my hair around loosen the curls separate them a little bit and then oh, that's annoyed me. Look because i couldn't fully curl it round. I have to curl the bottoms of some of them. That is a good one, though that is a very good one. Ah, oh my gosh, no stop it! Ah, okay! Maybe that curl wasn't dodgy. Oh, my god, i'm sorry, but does it or does it not look like i've just fully curled it with a curling iron. I'Ve got so much volume. Oh my gosh. Also. I love the fact that the front pieces have curled properly away from the face. I love this whole swooping. Look i didn't want it to literally be like do you know what i mean? Oh my god. I think now would be the time to put in any sort of hair product you want to put in like hairspray. I don't like to put hairspray in my hair um. I just feel like it kind of ruins the whole natural vibe [ __ ]. I don't want it to be like crispy and like solid. I just want it to drop if it's gon na drop. My hair does hold curls or basically anything really very well, so i don't feel like it's necessary in my case, but it might be necessary in someone else's case um. I would also go in with like a hair serum just to get rid of a little bit of the frizziness. It'S not actually that frizzy to be fair. I can't fault it seriously. I can't afford it, so that's this video done guys. Thank you. I don't know if i even prefer these results to my results from the heatless curls, with the headband that i've been doing for years now didn't think that would actually be possible. brooke king: I tried this and it WORKS!!!! Of course it didn't look as beautiful as her's but it still curls. I think the coconut oil helps keep the hair sleek, I shall try it next time. I don't think any heatless hairstyles I try come out perfect, but its still curls. It was definitely comfortable to sleep in! I used to do the bunch of mini buns in my hair which was hard to sleep on. Then I tried to headband curls and it always came undone for me in the morning. But this one was easy to sleep in and had the same results. I would say just try it, for the experience!

I’ve tried a lot of heartless overnight curling methods and every time I get these ugly bunched up ends and it just doesn’t look natural. This was 100% perfect! Kyla Yuri Kim (STG): Maybe the reason your hair is frizzy is because your hair could be naturally wavy or curly. When your brushing your hair your brushing the curls out and that will result in frizzy hair. The reason your hair holds curls really well could also be cause your hair is naturally curly. Or maybe maybe your hair just holds in curls well but I think you should the curly girl method. You’ll find more about the curly girl method if you search that up on YouTube.
