Today, i am going to show you the proper way to protect your hair at night. Just kidding, i'm going to show you 10 ways to protect your hair at night, because there is no right or wrong way. It is simply about preference in this video you're, probably going to see and hear some things that you're already familiar with and you're, also going to see some twists to things that you've heard of, and maybe even some things that you never knew to try and i'm Going to tell you, which ones are my favorite and why, for long and short hair, and hopefully by the end of this video, if you've had any confusion on what would work best or need additional tips to make something work, we will solve that for you before. We jump into all of these methods. I want to give credit where credit is due. Almost all of these techniques came from black women in the natural hair, movement were taught to us by them, and those that weren't were developed or expanded on off of the original styles. Black women, especially and the natural hair movement, have paved the way in almost if not all aspects of curly hair and protecting curls at night is no exception. Welcome back and if it's your first time here, my name is janelle, we do all things curly and then some and let's get to it. If you do nothing else recommended in the rest of this video at least get yourself a satin or silk pillowcase silk. If you like to spend that money satin, if you don't cotton fabrics, are a little bit rougher and they actually grab onto the hair. So as your hair glides across your cotton pillow case at night, it's getting tangled, it's sucking up, moisture, it's causing damage, etc. Where, if you have a nice, satin or silk your hair, just glides, it's not pulling any strands off. It'S not splitting any ends. It'S just loving you. If you don't have one already. I have some added to my amazon shop and that will be linked down in the description. Pineappling need a hair tie, satin or silk scrunchy. I like these little phone cord things they're. Wonderful! All you need to do to pineapple flip gather your hair. You want to be up as much here as possible up towards your forehead and then put it on hack for pineappling. If your hair is long like mine - and you don't want it in your face, grab a little clip. Take this wrap it around kind of like a top bun and clip it there. You go the half pineapple when my hair was short. This was like my most often go-to. My bottom layer was about shoulder length. It wasn't quite long enough to make it up to the pineapple without falling, and i wanted these hairs protected so that they could grow out. So i would just half it literally half of my head and then pineapple. I also still sometimes do this when my hair is long. It'S depending my mood and same thing. You can just wrap this around and clip it. I was still sleeping on a satin pillowcase, so my hair was generally protected and it gave the hairs at the nape of my neck that are prone to breakage a chance to kind of be like protected by hair. That'S a little bit stronger thicker and tends to see a little bit less action and they grew out. This is my go-to for a very long time. Continuing with the pineapple theme we have the unicorn pineapple, it's what i always called it. I don't know if there's an official name, so in this case this also works really good for short hair, especially if you can't get enough to a pineapple you're going to leave your top half pineapple and then you're going to pineapple the back. I would like to bring mine up. Is she cute now, in both cases, you have a pineapple back here for your back layers and you have one up top for your top layers. I always brought this pineapple higher, but you can also bring it low to hold them all in place or wherever is comfortable for you to sleep now for some medusa clipping. This was another one of my favorites when i had short hair, especially when my hair was really short, because it was so easy to customize. I'M going to show you how to do it now, but if you want to see a full tutorial on my hair when it was actually shorter, i will link that up here. What you're going to need is about four or five or more just depends on your hair of these little clips. Again, amazon or literally, the dollar store you're going to be creating a pineapple, but we're going to be taking sections of the hair and individually clipping those sections forward. Let me show you so i always started with the front section and what i would do is i would grab it a little bit back like this bend it forward in the direction that it's curling. You can see that the curl is starting to go forward. So i would bend it forward in that direction with a slight twist and then i would clip come to this side, bring it forward and clip apart the back and do the same thing. I typically would take my fingers in at the root a little bit and direct the hair up, and then we clip last section bring it up and clip. So you should be able to see one two three four clips here when my hair was short. My little pineapple that i've created essentially would end right here. So there's no point in like trying to clip it out of my face, but what i would do is i was bring the hair together from all the sections and then do one final clip here. Just to keep it in alignment - and i sometimes still do this, but now, if i do it, i do the same thing as with the pineapple i just loop, my hair around, give it a little bun shape and then clip it at the top. The thing that i love about these clips is you literally can control where you put them and i can never feel them when i'm sleeping and i never get a headache in this style when i wake up the next morning. Next up is the satin or silk scarf, or in my case you accidentally washed and dried yours and ruined it. So you had to run to the dollar store to get a cotton bandana, don't use this, i'm just using it for demonstration purposes. Today, i'm not a personal fan of the scarf. I'Ve tried it so many times it just doesn't seem to stay on my head, but it works for some. So i'm going to show you take one corner, i'm going to fold it then we're going to flip our hair over bring the folded part at your neck. I like to push this hair forward as far forward as possible. Then we're going to tie it, bring it up over the ears. I don't like anything on my ears and then you have a couple options here. You can just leave your hair out. You'Re sleeping on your satin pillowcase you've got protection, you're golden you can bring this forward and just tuck this in leave the hair out or you can gently tuck the hair in completely you tuck. I can't tell what i'm doing in the camera i'm coming close. Okay, then i like to re-tie the tuck here's the tuck, so i just wrap it with one of these and then tie them. One more time like i said not my favorite, it's plenty of people's favorite, but i would still do it in an emergency. Next, up is the tube this one that i have i have. It is from woven royal and i love because it is silk lined. So let me show you simply: pull it down over your head: pull your hair out, so we're gon na flip pull the tube over. Let the hair fall in, give it a little push, and then you can leave this open. If you want, you can tighten it, which i normally do and then to secure it even further, which a lot of people do, and it's actually designed to do is make a bun takes two seconds no fuss. And next we have the bonnet some people's favorite. For a long time, i hated it and i'll tell you why in a second i actually turned mine inside out, because i want the smoother side closer to my hair, so with the bonnet flip tuck, the hair in and you're ready for bed. This works wonderfully for a lot of people, it doesn't for me and i hated it for a very long time. It didn't matter what i did long or short hair. It completely flattened out my crown, i do have very fine curls and i just could never get my crown back after letting it down, but i figured out a trick. I had previously sworn off bonnets when my hair was shorter, but now that my hair is getting longer, i've been playing with new things and i figured out how to make it work. And now it's probably my favorite way to sleep at night, literally perfect, hair in the morning borderline looks like wash day. All you need is some little clippies. I feel like these little clippies are lifesavers. I use three and here's. What i do i flip over completely. I clip in three sections at the top of my head and i really make sure to grab these ones at my crown and make sure they're directed forward and then we bond it slide it right over the top drop those curls in there and then i'm golden And i go to sleep on my satin pillowcase and then i wake up with hair that is moisturized almost just intact, as it was on wash day, and i just need to give it a little fluff couple minutes to settle no flat crown no indentations, nothing. Sometimes a little bit more volume, i just showed you 10 ways that you can protect your wavy curly or coily hair at night. If you liked or learned something from this video, please give it a thumbs up. That was ridiculous. I'M sorry!

Angela Gills: STG I’ve tried everything to save my curls while sleeping and NOTHING worked. Pineapple, Medusa clipping, bonnet only, everything. I tried the clips and bonnet trick last night and BOOM! It worked perfectly!! I even wore my bonnet for a while after I woke up because I was too scared to look at it Thank you, you marvelous genius you!!!

TheBadAndie: As a Latina I want to say a big THANK YOU to the natural hair black community for teaching me how to take care of my 3b hair. Black girl magic is real!

Linzie Santana: THANK YOU for giving credit to the black community

WONYIZ: as someone who isn’t black but has 3b-3c curls, i am glad you gave credit where it is due. all my life i’ve looked up to black women for tips on curly hair since i’m one of the only ones in my family with such curly hair.

Ninfa Mannino: Growing up I always thought I was ugly cause I had curly hair, as I am getting older I am slowly trying to learn how to take care of my hair. Thank you ❤️

wmhfv: It makes me so happy that you started the video by immediately acknowledging the black women that tested and created this method of hair care. I have straight hair, but it's very long (hip length) and coarse, so I use a lot of curly hair methods to take care of my hair, and this was so helpful!

Wren: I never knew how to take care of my curly arab hair but i'm so glad you made this video, it has proven to be very helpful! The bandana wrap seems to be one of the most comfortable wraps for me to sleep in, thank you so much <3

Lou C: I'm crying tears of happiness. I have the same hair as yours and knew none of these tricks until now (I'm 22)! I mostly managed to braid my hair for the night, so they'd keep some waves even though most of the curls were gone the next day, but you've opened the doors to a brand new world. Thank you so much!!

Kate Yadan: Thank you for acknowledging all the Black women who have perfected these techniques before us and for pointing us to a Black women-owned business to purchase the Afrona. I just ordered mine and I can't wait to receive it. I am growing my gray curls out for a pixie and it is so in between right now I need big help with my curls. Your expertise and lovely advice are so appreciated!

Genisay: Thank you for putting this collection of tips together. And thank you to all of the black women who helped us white gals start getting back in touch with how awesome our curls could be after going through the age of flat irons.

◇ melon mint ◇: Honestly I really needed help how to use a bonnet properly. I'm actually Latina but I'm trying to fix my hair since I found out that I have curly hair very late in my life (since I was convinced that I had straight hair but just couldn't get it straight and smooth). This video was very helpful. Thank you!!

Cynthia Culbreath: THANK YOU for shouting out and giving props to the Black community and for the black women's natural/curly hair movement. It is appreciated, and thank you for your video ❤

RedVexeD: Thank you for this! Looking for more things to add in to my self-care/haircare journey... One year in, just about, and my hair has finally transitioned back from a fried 2a towards a solid 2c - I ought to be at a 3a, so, hopefully applying some of these ideas for sleep will help! :)

Andrea Brown: On behalf of all black women, thanks for the acknowledgment.

Hilary Juedes: I’ve found the bonnet stays on the best and protects from frizz the best with my fine hair. I will be investing in those clips because the struggle is real with the flat crown! Thank you for sharing!!

Kelsie Pierce: THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I go to sleep with perfect curls, then wake up with a frizzy mess. You have a one way ticket to heaven, girlfriend. ❤️

Amanda Robbins: 47 years with curly hair and still learning! I bought a silk bonnet and tried it but it would fall off during the night. I’ll try the clip method. Thank you!!

bailey mathis: I feel like you read my mind I was just searching your channel last week for alternatives because bonnets give me sensory overload. And thank you so much for mentioning our Black friends and how we owe all this knowledge to their expertise <3

big dick daisy: thank you for crediting the black community. this video was super helpful!! <3

Will Power: This was incredibly helpful. Finally something for shorter curly hair. You don’t know how long I’ve been looking for this

xxShenelopexx: THANK YOU! This was so helpful! I'm new in the curly-game and wore a bonnet at night so far. Mostly it's been working okay, but sometimes my hair would move around in the bonnet so I'd lie on the curls and they would look awful the next morning. The trick with the clips is brilliant! I wouldn't have gone near them on my own because I thought they'd be bothering me at night. But it works and now my hair doesn't move around in the bonnet.

Iness: Double pineapple interesting. I'll try it. My problem with the regular pineapple is that my bottom curls are always stretched out. So far satin scarf and medusa clipping worked best for my hair. I always pin the scarf to my hair with bobby pins and it stays in place 90% of the time.

Desiree Adrian: My mind was blown when you shared “The Tube”! I have a buff and keep a bit of volume with my fine, med-low density 2b-3a/b curls... but it frizzes up. The fact that this tube thing is satin lined is a game changer! I will say, I am tempted to try the bonnet one more time, with the addition of the root clipping hack. I do have a satin pillowcases, to protect the nape and any little hairs that make their way out. But this is so awesome and helpful! Especially in these winter months!!! Thank you mamas, for all of your tips and energy.

aaubreyy: i'm so happy i found your channel. i've had trouble finding someone with the exact same hair problems as me! the clips + bonnet is genius, i've been using a bonnet but the flat roots make me so upset. so this is a game changer!!! thank you so much!

Judy Jergins: Great video!! Now that my hair’s a little longer I can almost do a pineapple, I can do the clips and do have a bonnet that I wear. So really need to try pineapple w/bonnet! Thanks, Jannelle

mailtoHoffman: I do a slight variation on your final tip…I take my invisibobble and pinneapple my hair loosely (just once around) and then put my bonnet on…it was born out of not liking fighting random curls to get into the bonnet and quickly became my easy routine. Also helps with adding some volume to morning roots.

Kirby Rose: Thank you! I follow your channel for my daughter's hair. She has curly hair with the exception of a straight section right on top of her hair that drapes over everything and sometimes snuffs out her curls (we call it her mommy patch because I have straight hair and her dad has curly) Lately at night we've been having trouble with her hair knotting like crazy (she's a bit of a reckless sleeper lol she moves alot) so I will try to put some of these methods to the test!

Kelly Dgaf: I've been struggling with my 10 year olds curls especially at night. We've tried the bonnets and hair wraps and she says they always slip off while she's sleeping! Any suggestions on the best way to wrap so it stays on or what is the best wrap you or anyone else has used??

Gemmaphobic: I absolutely LOVE your energy and you video was extremely helpful thank you!!

Rakka: It’s 8 PM and I’m now trying to talk myself out of making a target run for some satin pillowcases I’ve struggled with my hair dreading itself together and breaking literally overnight. I have hair very similar to yours, and would love to grow it long but have been SO frustrated with all of the tangles! I’m going to try some of these tips thanks for your advice!! :)

Curl Girl: I loved this video and learned some new ways to wear my hair at night! The clips are genius. The scarf never works for me either. The bonnet trick with clips is great - now something that didn't work for me, I'm going to try again. Thanks so much for this video!

Haylee Black: You’ve saved my life! That dang bonnet has driven me nuts. And the scarf. And pineapples stretch out the curls in the sides but you have helped me sooooooo much. Thanks!

bhavna thakur: This was such an entertaining video and so informative!

kawiia kitten: Hello, so once I turned 14 my hair turned curly (we did a big chop lol) I’ve been fighting the curl for 2 years and I’m trying to kind of appreciate my curls, I’ve done my research on things to help, I’ve tried everything. I’m white but my hair is just poofy and curly and hard to mauntain.I’ve tried So many products, methods ,etc, I was wondering is it okay to wear a silk bonnet around my house/while I’m sleeping ? I just don’t wanna offend any people of color!I know the history behind all this, I just like to ask around so I can be respectful, but this is rlly as a last resort Bc my hair situation, I just want to try to embrace my hair more , feedback would be much appreciated!! <3.

Ollie J.: I love that you actually credited the origin of these techniques and I love your energy so much ❤

Christina Obert: Using a scarf is a once in awhile thing. Using them broke so many of my hairs on my bang area. I'll have to try the double pineapple or the bonnet and clips. Thank you!

Phoenix, About Everything And Nothing: Great video a year later. WIll definitely be doing the pineapple bonnet :). Fine wavy to curly with a flat crown. Now I know a solution. Thanks!

Maria Mullings: I'm gonna have to go back to the bonnet and give that a try! Nothing I do helps my curls at night! Thanks so much for the info! Love your shirt too, btw!

The elite class: A lovely intro to your video, thank you for crediting Black women and the natural hair community ♡

Valerie Hill: Hi Jannelle, My curly hair and I have just started dating (I mean, I'm not new to curly hair, just didn't realize I could be doing so much more with it!) and I've been obsessed with your videos, so much so that I may be suffering from information overload! I just want to say THANK YOU for everything you do, but specifically in this video I appreciate the medusa clipping tutorial. I have shoulder length hair so I do the half up and so far so good. It was nice to wake up in the morning and still have some curl! In short, your videos are great and you are awesome!

Toni: Everything I've tried has left my morning hair flat with very loosened curls. I just use a satin pillowcase now. I was a bit shocked by the price of the Afrona, as that was one thing I haven't tried and went straight to the site. I'm sure it's worth every penny in the long run, but I just can't :( I will try the baby clips and my bonnet I also hated Great tips & tricks!! I'm binge watching your vids since I found your channel this evening. I've been so tired of how my curls have been acting I was going to resort to flat ironing I have enough info right now that has convinced me to keep on truckin! And I've watched curly hair videos and subbed to channels for years!! You ROCK sista!

Barbara Sampson: I am beginning my curly hair journey - thank you! Love your shirt

Angie Hamby: I’m new to attempting to protect my curls at night, as I grew up with straight haired mom and thought all hair should be washed every day. However, now that I’m learning, I have had a cpap machine thrown in. Any tips on a method that works with a cpap mask?

Ivy's new beginning at Slab City!: Thank you so much! My hair in my picture is short but now it's long and curly now and your video really helps.

Natalie Gouché: Loved the video and respect for giving credit to Black Women. It’s not often that non Black curly girls share where these tips came from. Lastly, can’t wait to purchase my Afrona. Thanks for sharing the brand. Love to support women led businesses. Especially women of color.

Molly Fitz Brown: New curly/wavy subscriber here! I don't protect my curls while I'm sleeping and I really need to :) I usually push it all up (kinda like the tube but without a tube haha) and fuss with it all night as I toss and turn!

HawkStrong: This was really helpful. Thank you!

K S: This just saved me so much time and stress!!!! Thank you, and thank you for giving proper credit too :))

Andrea Nicole: Thank you for this! I’m Puerto Rican and my momma has straight hair and my dad has very small curly hair! And none of them know anything about curly hair care lol. I’m starting to take care of my curls! This was very helpful! Thank you

kryki_cha: Acknowledging the origins of these methods is rarely seen. Bonnet + clips= I get the flat crown too, so I'm gonna try that!!

Anureet Kaur: this video was so helpful!!! thank you so much. i never realized how smart it is to use clips under my bonnet because my long hair always comes out of it so that would help with control.

Claire Kurdelak: Awesome, learned a lot, thanks Jannelle!

Angela Monahan: You put CLIPS under your bonnet!? I had a total 'no DUH' moment! That would solve MY bonnet issue too, sooo...... why the hell didn't *I* think of this?? ☺ Jannelle, you lovely genius, you. Thank you for sharing this tip, cos I am definitely trying it out tonite.

Ariana Z: 1 year late but so helpful, thank you !!

Emily Knetzer: Great tips, especially the clips/bonnet! A bonnet stays on for me but I get the flat crown also. I’m worried the clips will cause sensitivity, because everything does but it’s worth a try. And yeah, I love the idea of a scarf, but it never works ‍♀️ Thanks again, glad to see you back

Gabrielle: I ADORE your personality and can't wait to start using a bonnet! Thank you and just subbed! ❤️

Zeke Jeager: I have basically the same curls as you and this was a life saver , my curls look good in the morning

Cris M: I’m a black woman with natural curls!! And this helped me so much!! ❤️❤️

basickitchentea: I'm gonna have to try the bonnet + clips!! my hair moves so much in my bonnet bc my scrunchie's too loose but it's uncomfortable if I do it tighter

Peach Tea: I watched this video when it first came out and really liked it but I came back to check out that woven royal buff tube thing. I ordered one the other day and I'm so excited to try it out. Great video thank you

Maureen Levy: Thank you! Thank you! For thinking about us shorter hair curly girls!!! Chin length now and love it and may grow it...who knows...but little clippies will be my friend! You're just the best for thinking of us "shorties"!!

Hollie Mahadeo: This was so helpful thank you. Your hair is GORGEOUS!

Christine Piccora: Hi Jannelle, I'm a new follower of your channel and am enjoying it a lot! I have wavy/curly hair 3a that has lots of volume but is very fine. I'm struggling with preserving my curls when I sleep. I tried the bonnet and scarf and my hair is no longer frizzy, but my curls are flattened in the AM. My hair is too short to clip (growing out from a curly faux hawk since Covid), do you have recommendations on what else I can try for a sleep routine?

Fay Coleman: I never thought to do clips under the bonnet! That's such a good idea!

christina bourgeois: My hair just ends up frizzy. My hair has always been fine but now that I have a fringe of grey around my face it is super fine and I look like a swamp witch 90% of the time and 100% of the time when I sleep on my hair. I have always washed my hair every day to get my nice spiral curls back. I love your makeup in this video. I’m 50 and have never worn makeup and know nothing about it. I like that your makeup emphasizes your natural beauty without taking centre stage. Would love to know what you do to get this look (besides being young and naturally beautiful

Stephanie Moura: Can’t wait until my hair is long enough for a pineapple, I use to have good day after with it, now my hair is not long enough, thank you for showing the double pineapple technique haha I will try it out no EDT: also gotta try the clip and bonnet

Sarah Bryant: i’ve tried all of these and my hair still looks insane when i wake up

Mar V: Thanks. Had problems keeping my curls nice the next day but u gave me choices to try.

twenty first: I appreciate your acknowledgement of black women's wisdom and experience as the foundation of all of this.

Kandes Tobin: Girl! I have super right curls, but I'm following you for the acknowledgement and your cool personality.

Wunderin: Thank you!!! I have hair almost exactly like yours. I hate it touching my neck when I sleep so I have slept in a pony tail for the majority of my life. Because of this is have brittle hair and so much breakage. My oldest daughter also has the same curls but she has autism and HATES brushing her hair. But the patch on her crown is a completely different texture because of the friction with furniture and pillows. I got her a silk pillowcase but because it’s not Elsa she sleeps with her Elsa pillow. So I recently decided to try a bonnet. It’s so hard to get all of her hair into it and we do still have to brush it. But it has been much better since. Now I’m realizing that I need to try this for my 4 year old too. She has curly hair that DOESNT GROW! she’s never had a haircut and it’s so thin and broken because of malnutrition caused by her eating disorder. So when I saw her pillow covered in hair I had no idea it was pillow related. She now has a silk pillowcase but I want to try the bonnet with her.

Helen L: I hope the bonnet and clip method works for me. My hair is too short to pineapple and the flat crown resonated with me. My hair in that area is thinning and seems worse each day.

donworrylah: How do you handle your hair that much without it turning into a ball of frizz? If I flip my hair around that much, it’s a wreck! What’s your secret? Also, your curls are gorgeous and shiny!! Gonna be watching more of your videos!

ShallowWaters: I tried your clipping method before putting on my bonnet and it worked!

Ruby Moorman: Great video, thank you... Caring & sharing... I put my head upside down then a gentle twist of my hair & into a loose bun, tucking the ends of my gently twisted hair into my already made bun, then I put on my bonnet for the night, then get some ZZZZZZZZZZs as needed... ✌ ☘️ ☘️~"1 & all please take care of you & for others that need you through all these difficult trying times"~ ~"Love, Hope, Peace, Kindness, Dreams, Inspiration, Laughter, Joy, Give, Live & Let Live"~

Real Perez Rodriguez: Great idea fot the bonnet! I do something similar, I wrap my hair with a satin scarf (leaving the ends of my hair out) and then I put the bonnet on.

Summer Haque: I love your laugh! You are the sweetest! Thank you for all of the tips!!! ❤️

Rissa: I cant wait to try this. My hair is a mess! I pineappled last night and my hair had gnarly stringy waves that were stretched out.

sentimentalA: I’m so broke that sometimes I wrap my hair in a plastic bag and sleep like that; sometimes I wonder if it’s safe or not but you know, I care bout my curls more

Suzanne Reid: Hi Janelle. I love this video! Thank you. I’ve been looking for a drawstring tube like the one in your video with no such luck. Woven Royal are sold out of the one in your video and I cannot find ANY drawstring tube anywhere online. I’m even willing to add my own satin layer. Any leads you can offer? Thanks!

Stephanie L: I've got to get this sleeping stuff figured out because 2nd day curls make me look like I've been running through the woods & getting my hair snagged on every branch lol.

Tammy McLeod: Thank you, thank you, thank you for the bonnet hack!!! I've got very fine low density hair, and my crown flattens too! Ima get some lil clips! Thanks gf! xxoo

evelyn lebrun: I’m slowly trying to learn how to protect and style my curls. I got them from my dad and am the only one in my family who has curly hair. People always tell me my curls are so pretty but I only know how to get them to stay for one day on wash day. So this video will hopefully help me use the potential of my curls. Thank you so much.

Woven Royal: Great video! Didn’t even think of half bun and unicorn for sleeping...or the clips. Thank you for the great info and featuring the Afrona as an option! Besos y abrazos!

Krystle R: I live sleeping with my bonnet, but I get the flat crown too! I'm gunna try your tips for bonnet + clips & see how it goes!

Dianne Lonie: Finally. A down to earth woman. Thanks so much for the tips. ✅

Samantha Lockhart: I absolutely LOVE you shouted out the Black Queens!!! They are incredibly under appreciated. It’s beautiful when we can actually thank you for THEIR creations ❤️❤️

Sycamore Valley: My gosh your hair looks exactly like mine, your hair is the closest I've ever seen to my own hair!

April Stewart: Thanks for the tips! I bought the scarf you recommended without reading the full description (damn night time shopping! ), and was surprised to see that it is 100% polyester. Did the link change by any chance?

Stephanie Comer: I will try the clips. I just usually pineapple with satin pillow case. The zipper just broke and have had meh experiences with bonnets. Willing to try them again. My sides get stretched out, but clipping up back pieces instead if pineapple might work. Thanks for your videos!

𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃ℯ𝓁𝓎: As of someone who is mixed with curly hair I'm still finding out what I want to do with my hair so thanks for this video

Tomar Crauswell: I use the clips & bonnet too! Works every time.

April Gunter: Thank you for pointing out the clip trick with the bonnet. I felt like the bonnet smushed everything down before I tried the clips. And OMG, I love your shirt!
