What is going on you, too [ __, ] boy, Matt, get the hands back to you with another video and, as you can tell, this, video is going to be a great one. This client right here this caveman first time ever coming into the barbershop first time ever cutting his hair first time ever getting a haircut. This kid is 2 years old, guys, 2 years old, first time ever getting a haircut. He did not make a peep. He did not move too much. He didn't cry. This kid was like like. Oh, no, the best the best kid haircut that you could never do. I promise you guys whenever his mom was picking his hair out. That way, I can shape it up whenever she was waiting for me to cut his hair. He you know he was crying because the pig was pulling on his hair and right off the back. If kids got sensitive, you know sensitive scalp or sensitive hair or whatever our sensitive head. Rather, I feel like they're gon na freak out with the Clippers touching their head or the vibration of the paper or whatever, but I was totally wrong with this one. I swear this kid's set better than some adult in my barber chair, so let me just go ahead and explain to y'all what I'm doing right now. The mom had already picked out his hair right now. She showed me a picture of a faux hawk with kind of like a shadow. You know a shadow on the side and, as you can tell he's pretty light on the sides already, his hair is pretty pretty it's fine. So what I did was, I took the number two on the sides and right now, I'm just basically knocking down any kind of boat trying to create some kind of shape. I want to kind of have that short too long profile with the top of his head hair. So right now, I'm just removing hair that doesn't need a beat there. Basically and yes being that is his first haircut. The mom was kind of emotional about it. So I didn't want to get her on camera too much, but I wish I would have got her reaction because she was just so so excited and nervous at the same time being that this is her baby boy, two years old, never got a haircut before and She went for a drastic change for for the haircut so right here. I'M gon na take my number two garden and you're gon na tell right out the fact that a number two guard is close enough to where his hair is laying down on the side. It'S it's it's to me. It was like a shadow I didn't want to do too, like a one or anything like that, because again, this is his first haircut. So we're doing it number two and I'm just kind of blending that in to the top again, because it's gon na be like a faux hawk, we're gon na add some curling cream. At the end, I use Cantu curling cream and that's just gon na kind of compress everything together. So basically, what I'm doing is I'm taking a number two guard straight into the top. I believe I opened it up right when I got to the ridge, but I'm kind of scooping that in because I don't want to make it a disconnection I want it. I want to have a blend into the top right here. I'M just picking him up a little bit because he was sliding down. I tell you, kids will freak out with that kids will freak out what hair on their face. Kids will freak out with the air compressor blowing off the hair, but this kid was so perfect. So perfect and I'm glad I got the opportunity to record this not only for y'all and content, but for the fact that it's his first haircut, you know the mom was excited and nervous at the same time and she's gon na be able to have a lifetime Memory of her son, getting his first haircut like that. I was amazing to me, so I gave her. You know some of his hair to keep and but she was so happy with the outcome and the end result. No, it's it's! It'S just a lot for a mom to take that all in getting you know, first haircut and a drastic one at that. You know removing a lot of the hair but comment below guys. I mean we all get. You know, clients, whether it's kids or adults. You know that we just know not that we don't want to cut their hair, but sometimes it's a challenge. Our mission, I love cutting kids haircut. You know I love doing the kids haircuts they're the future. I always want to keep them clean just as much as an adult. It'S just sometimes it's difficult for a barber to cut kids here there are barbers out there that decline. Kids me! No! I'M not gon na do that. I'M gon na cut every kid that I can to a certain extent right like if the kid is trying kicking and punching and and not even in the barber chair yet then I'll just let the parent know either you could try to sit with them or we Could try this another time, because there's only so much that we can do right as barbers like we don't want to cut the kid on accident. We don't want to create a bald spot. We want to take our professionally. I paint our professional opinion and determine whether we can cut the hair up but guys shaping you know, shaping hair like this is very, very precise and you got to be very careful because you can slip and you know, create a ball spot. This kid can move real quickly. You can joke away from me. You know a lot of stuff can happen. So what i'm using i'm using my opposite hand to brace his head. So if he does move, i have a safety point and i'm not only gon na shave, his hair up top one time i ended up, you know kind of creating the rub, drop shape and then i'll pick it out again because it's not gon na be even The first go around you're gon na have to re pick it out and then reshape it up. It is time-consuming, but to be honest with you guys, I recorded this haircut. I don't have proof of time. I don't have the clock on video, but there was recently where 360 GZ and get being had a challenge where GZ challenge bean to record and do a haircut in 45 minutes whether it was a haircut, a haircut, a beard, it doesn't matter being. Did a haircut a beard and 40 and in less than 45 minutes and recorded it, but guys know this is a kid first time ever getting a haircut. Yes, he moved around a little bit but again wasn't really that bad at all. Come you know great great great client. I would love to cut his hair again, but I did this haircut with video and probably around anywhere from 40 to 45 minutes, but when I realized it I was like man I wish I would have took the time to. You know start the clock and this and that, but it's work guys it's definitely work, especially we never cut the client. You know you don't know his his hair texture, how everything goes so it can be difficult with that as well. But right here I had already read picked it out. I didn't put that on video, but I rethink it out and now I'm just shaving and - and this is where the shape really comes to life again, keeping it kind of long in the front and then kind of shorter in the back. But I didn't want to take too much off, because whenever you put, the curling cream is gon na compress everything together. So I didn't want their mom to freak out and see real short curls up top with product in it. So we kind of kept it pretty long and with the curling cream they look. I thought my opinion. I think the haircut came out. Amazing. The link was good and, again being that it was his first haircut. I didn't want to take too too much off. I wanted to, you know, have some length up top, because the picture that she did show me was is pretty lengthy up topping and he can just have like a curl of curl. Look, you don't have to have a full heart, so right here, I'm taking. I believe this is a my to open and I'm just kind of removing some dark areas, blending that into the top making sure that all the hair is laying down. Now I'm taking my brush cuz, I had a comb earlier, but now the brush is grabbing the hair, making sure that I comb it in the desired pattern to lay down that way. I can get all the long hair all right look guys. This is what kids really freak out, and this kid is just sitting here, like I said, he's been giving haircuts his whole life. This is so amazing when I started lining him up. I was like wow this. This is literally like very, very rare for a two-year-old. First time ever getting a haircut to sit through a lineup sit through the sideburns like yes, how you can tell my trimmers are set to where I can use them, our kids and adults. His hair just really really light so you're, not gon na see that detailed line up, but I'm gon na line up his baby hairs make sure that don't push nothing back right here. You can see a little more because it is the neck line area. It'S a little darker, but guys, no movement. This kid is chillin. This kid is chillin. I was very surprised as the whole barbershop was surprised. The mom was surprised because she, like I'm, I'm speechless. I don't know I don't know like how and why she's just give me a haircut just chillin. He did have a lollipop that his mom gave him, but you really wasn't even interested in that meat. He ate it for a little bit and is kept it in with an so right here again, it's baby hairs. You don't want to, you, know, give a detail line up and take it up to where dart line up the baby hairs and just do the best that you can again having your safety point with your opposite hand, just in case he moves or whatever right there. My fingers on his forehead are gon na give me a safety point. If he moves, I can jolt back or pull back the trimmer and you're gon na see like some hairs hanging over in the front. I just turn around my trimmer and then freehand that, but you can see the line up. Does it is there it's just really light? I just didn't want to take it to where it's dark. The lineup is there now we're gon na use that cannon to curling cream. I suggest you get this Potter, you get it at Walmart. You know any kind of local superstore or whatever. Here in Florida, we have Publix grocery store. I can get that public, but this curling cream. I love it. I love the product, it smells amazing and it looks good with the curls so again guys. Amazing, amazing, two-year-old client, the best kid client I honestly have ever cut and he did such an amazing job. Mom you're doing good with him and know you're gon na watch this. He was amazing in my chair and I can't wait to see him again thanks for bringing him in, and thank you for allowing me to record this this tutorial, not only for my my my youtube channel. Look for you as well to have memories, so this is pretty much the finished look guys. A number two on the side is kind of like a shadow contrast and we lined him up and we just did like a faux hawk style off the top. I recommend everyone put this at 1.5 speed because it is slow and the faster speed makes it quicker and less tedious to watch. This guy mentions that it is his first haircut 20 times. Push it forward to see the ending. Each child is different. He was tired, from his eyes and the yawning, which tells us all that the perfect time to put a 2 year old in the hands of a male barber to get his hair cut is when he is tired!
