Christina xx

Either I'm Christina from her immense calm now he might recognize his hairstyle because I posted it just a little while ago, but I showed it to you in straight hair and I had a lot of questions and some great comments saying that I look great in curly. Hair and I have to agree so often it's difficult to picture a style if you've got a different hair type. So I've just recreated the same tutorial today to show you how to do it. In my curly hair and I've got some tips of braiding curls as well, also with this style, I've got some extra tips on how to braid curly hair throughout the tutorial as well. So let's get started so this is my day to hair. It'S pretty thick in a mix of two sea waves and 3a curls to make it easier to braid curly hair. I use a leave-in conditioner. This is the Shea Moisture 100 % virgin coconut leave-in spray. My hair is parted on the right, so I'm starting my braid here pick up a section of hair and split it into three. This is a Dutch braid see across the sections under instead of over. As for a French braid cross, the left under the middle and then the right under the left on the next cross under we'll pick up hair from the front to add into the braid, then add in some hair from the back. Try not to add in too much here from the back. So there's enough hair left for the braid as it goes around. I keep repeating the same steps. So, let's speed it up when Braden curly hair, I try to take in two whole curls. Trying to split them up can cause knots and frizz and tangles, as you can see, then, as you keep braiding around you'll start to turn the braid from the turn. I do change something, and now I only add in hair from the top. This is going to leave more hair to hang down underneath and look prettier under the braid. Keep braiding is, if you're, following an imaginary circle around you it, as you start to head in hair at the other side, stop to check how many layers you like to leave out at the front. You can add them in, but I like to leave them out at this point I'll also adjust the braids stretching it out to make it look thicker. If you have any layers, you can stretch and tuck them in now now, once you're back to the braid, I bring my hands around to the front and finish in a regular, plat or braid. I think I missed a section there. So don't worry about getting it perfect. You might have layers like me here and we can fix them by stretching out your hair or pinning them at the end. Now, let's connect the ring braid by tucking the ends under the start of your braid. It'S almost staying there on its own. I love this about curly hair, but let's secure it with a few bobby pins, push your pins through, don't open them up and if you can see them just adjust them back in line with your braid. If you need to secure your braid at the side, just add in another pin and now on to the curls at the bottom, if you've got any fries or messy curls use your leave-in conditioner to twist them back into shape. I like to spray it onto my hands to help smooth down any frizz, then just twirl around with your new ring braids. So that's my crown braid in curly hair. I really hope you like seeing these styles in different hair types, and let me know in the comments if you've got a straight hair tutorial, that you'd like to see in curly or wavy hair and tell me: do you also have hair that doesn't curl evenly? It'S completely my problem at the moment. I have definitely think that this side curls better than this side, and I always have like a few random straight bits hanging in there as well. It'S pretty normal to have a mix of coal types. So if this happens to you, let me know in the comments make sure you hit subscribe, so you don't miss my next video and hit the notifications, so you'd be the first to see it have fun with your hair and I'll see you soon bye! Oh no! I just dropped my phone, so gon na keep recording, have fun with your hair and I'll see you soon. Bye,

BinaBecker: Yup, I've got mixed curl types, too. It makes the right side of my head frizzier than the left, and the underlayers straighter than the top, and the back is wavy while the front is corkscrewy. Finding styles that don't accentuate the problem is a job in itself, so kudos to you for this! PS: I'm a 2C, 3A/B curlyhead.

Amy Fallon: Hi! Just discovered your page as I was looking for hair tutorials for a friend's wedding this weekend! I love the styles you post and how you embrace your curls! My curls are different too, the hair at the nape of my neck is almost completely straight while the rest of my head is 3C curls. Thanks for posting, I'm going to use one of these styles this weekend! Oh also, I LOVE your pink hair!!

Kelly Lyell: That's very pretty in curly hair. I also have a mix of curls, from 2c to 3a and 3b. I think the left side of my hair always looks better, it's curlier, not as frizzy. Great video Christina!

Sarah After Dark: Great example of what I'm looking to do! Thank you so much <3

HV Minnella: I love this. I just gave it a try, but my hair may be too long. Yours is the perfect length for this look!

Maria Krick: I love this braid, it looks fantastic on youbut find it impossible to do on my hair! I wish there was a slow motion step by step tutorial for it!

Rachel Walker: I definitely get what you mean by different hair types! Often times I've noticed my tightest curls are right beside my straightest pieces so weird.... I have 3a-3b hair with the top layer being almost straight but it's gotten alot curlier recently :D

S Pieterman: I've got 2c all the way to 3c Hair, depending on where it grows. Also my right side has no volume at all while my left is perfect. I have 3a in my crown on good days but mostly just 2c. It goes curlier towards my hairline, having 3c Hair around my ears and the nape of my neck. I'm still hoping to get them a bit more uniform by treating them right but I've only just started doing that about a month ago so it needs time

K Ham: Your braiding skills continue to amaze me!

Jade Mayhew: Braid looks great, will definitely give it a go. The under layer of my hair hardly curls it's almost straight! I found that cutting it shorter helps it to blend in.

Nour Farid: love the braid❤

Jenna Rose: I’ve got 2B curls but since my hair is so long it tends to lose it’s shape by the third day. I’ve tried curl revive techniques but it always ends up super frizzy. It’s hella frustrating

Desi Curls: This looks SO pretty a with curly hair! I can't wait to try it! I completely understand the struggle of having different curl patterns loll my hair has 2c/3a even some 3b. I have a question about adding leave in, when you add it in dry hair does it weigh your hair down? I've tried adding a tiny bit of Shea Moisture's coconut style milk on frizzy ends when it was dry and it completely weighed my hair down. Also can you please do a tutorial on a braided headband? Thanks for all the braid videos, you're tutorials are always the easiest to follow because you explain it so well!

Kathi Neumann: I have very mixed curls too, but my curls are tighter than yours. I love this style, will be trying this soon!

WinstonChaychel: Yup, also have the mix of hair with some straight bits underneath . I find if I try to pin curl the straight bits it helps. They at least get a wave to them.

Desi Curls: Also a follow up question, do you think doing this on wet hair would work? I'm going on vacation soon to Cayman Islands and my hair takes forever to dry so I was wondering if doing the crown braid and then letting my hair dry (so my underneath curls can dry) with the style would work?

Krystyna: The underneath layer of my hair falls pretty straight slightly wavy and the left side will get ringlets but the right side only waves

Brianna Esparza: I have a mix of curl types. Most of by hair is 3b, but at the roots near my crown it looks a lot more like 3a.

Jackie Stephenson: What hairstyle do you suggest for curly hair and hats (for summer) that doesn’t end up with really bad ‘hat hair’ if you take the hat off?

MimiChu: I have 2-b 2-c and 3-a it's a beautiful mess X'D
