How To: Fast Mermaid Hair Waves Using Flat Iron

I'm sure you have seen this hairstyle all over the internet, but you probably never did it because you don't have special mermaid hair waver. Don't worry! Try this technique using only hairspray and flat iron! Let me know it turned out!

I wash my hair and blow-dried it as in previous video. This is the starting point for any hairstyle that we are doing so I just wanted to tell you that I didn't use any creamy or oily products, because you know when you use them. Your hair is kind of kind of heavier and ways and curls are not staying in place. That'S long, they will disappear in few powers so avoid them. Try using only shampoo and now we're going to the next step for this. So I'm dividing thin strand and going through it with my fingers because it put a bit of hairspray on it, taking hair straightener and holding it horizontally and twisting the iron a bit and pulling it up. Because you want to create a bit of volume in the roots, now I'm twisting strainer in the opposite direction and pulling a bit down again twisting and pulling down, and I will just continue with this process all the way down. On the other side, I wanted to show you how your strand is going to look if you start pulling it down and twisting for the first curve. Instead of creating volume - and here you can see the difference between those trends when you pull down for the first girl or when you make volume in the roots by pulling up again make sure to put hairspray on every single strand and brush it well before styling. These are going to make such a huge difference, because, when you put a product before warmth from the Hot Tools is going to activate the product and you're going to get maximum effect for tighter waves, you can twist this radiator faster and not pull too far away From one curve to another, let's others trying to cool down and don't touch it right away, because waves are normally getting looser for sure as a time goes by. I really love to play with these techniques and combine them that way. Hair looks effortless, require no touch-ups and looks really casual I'll, just make sure to pull more strands up for the volume at the crown and front parts. It’s so important, especially if you are styling it with heat. If you got the correct conditioner for your hair, the waves would look even better and they also stay “forever”. Also using hairspray before using the iron can fry your hair of. There are a lot of heat protective sprays that have the same effect plus protecting the hair.
