Curly Bun + Edge Tutorial

So the first thing I'm doing is plugging in this. Currently, iron, I bought off of Amazon. I got it off of Amazon. I literally just searched the skinny curling iron, and this was something that popped up, so I ordered it and I actually like the way the curls come out. But if you guys already have a curling iron, you prefer to use and go ahead and do that, I'm just putting it out there, where I'm gon na get this curling iron. If you guys want the exact same one from me, but moving on I'm going to just untangle my hair making sure there's no knots or tangles, you know the regular okay. Now we're gon na go ahead and start partying our hair. So the way I like to part my hair, when I'm going to curly is, I do just part it down the middle, and then I tie off one section with the hair tie and now I'm gon na focus on the other half so that other half as You guys will see in the video I'm going to split that into the middle. Yes, so it's like I'm just splitting it in half and then you're gon na go ahead and repeat that to the other side. I don't know if that made any sense, but I'm pretty sure is self explained, as you guys can see like what I'm doing, I'm just parting, the hair in half. Now I'm not gon na lie to y'all. If you do plan on doing this, hairstyle with all the little tiny curls and all that, I would recommend to start this hairstyle early in the morning only because I do have a lot of hair. So this hairstyle took me like two hours just to finish, but if you don't have a lot of hair, then I'm pretty sure you'll finish fast either way. I would recommend to start this hairstyle earlier just so you can have your hair done throughout the whole day. So now I'm just gon na go ahead and then starting off with the small section, that's not tied up, I'm just going to start getting small sections of hair and start curling them. I only get small sections because if you get too much hair, the hair will not curl right and they'll. Just not look too good. So the smaller the section, the tighter the curls will look. So I'm just gon na go ahead and do that and I'm gon na show you guys I'm gon na speed it up so that you guys can see and I'm not gon na show you guys me curling my whole head because they'll literally be like a hour-long Video of judge me curling, my hair, I'm pretty sure you guys know how to curl your hair. If you don't I'm showing you guys like a little snippet of it other than that, you guys know what to do. I'M gon na speed it up for you guys now and when you guys are done curling each section of hair. You guys are gon na, want to go ahead and just run your hands through the curls. Yes, so all four sections of your hair that you need to curl you're gon na, want to go ahead and run your hands, as I'm, showing you guys right here, just like that. You'Re gon na run your hands through the curls, to give it that volume and big puffy look so then you're gon na want to do that to all sections in your hair once you're done, your hair should turn out like this. Now. Here is the final look. Yes y'all: this is giving me that pretty girl eyes all of it on this plane. So now we're gon na use some gel and you guys always ask me what jail do I use. I use the Eco styling gel the yellow one with the red top, and I got this big old jug as y'all can see it's almost finished. I got it from the beauty supply as well as this hard bristle brush. I also got that the beauty supply, so I'm just gon na apply some gel at the front of my hair and then tilting my head downwards. Does help me make this hair look even better. I don't know why, but like making putting my head down, helps make the bun like sit right. I don't know if that makes any sense, but yes, I just took my head down. I apply gel all over the areas of hair that I know need a slick and then, when my hard bristle brush, I'm just going to brush that and smooth it out as even as possible. Now, if you're like me - and you want to make sure there are no bumps anything around your bun, then all you got ta do is just keep brushing you smoothing it out. All of that so they're not going with some got to be free spray, because this actually holds my hair in place. Like I don't know, if you guys know, but sometimes when having a bun at the back of your head, you get those hairs that start falling out. But using this got to be free spray, it helps hold it together throughout the whole day. So that's what I apply and then once I'm done, I just keep brushing to make sure it's still smooth, there's no bumps and then, when I finally have it smooth out as possible. I go in with at least three rubber bands because, like I mentioned before, I do have thick hair and then having it. Curled makes it even more thicker, so you need something: that's gon na hold it and make sure it's tight. So then, I just tie up my hair into a high ponytail and once we're done with that high ponytail, that's when we're gon na start forming our bun now moving on I'm going to apply some more got to be free spray. Just so I can go ahead and smoothing out any hairs that may have you know, got bumpy or anything while trying to put the hair into the rubber bands, and I go in with this all black smoothing brush. I say it's a smoothing brush because it literally that's all it does is just smooth it out the hair. I also purchased this from the beauty supply store. So then, once I'm done, I'm just gon na tighten that a little bit and then, as you guys, can see all I do with my curls. Is I go in with this big home? Okay, you guys see me going through my hair in the beginning of the video, and I just comb it through the curls so that it could give it more of a volume. Look. You know that big puffy look, that's what we're aiming for, so we're just gon na go ahead and do that and then once you're done, I do grab the curls and just swipe the comb up a little bit as if you were teasing it, but you're. Not really teasing it to the extreme, it's just a little bit now. You can just go ahead and start forming your buns so to form my bun. All I do is, I grab all of the hair and I just start wrapping it all around. I don't tighten it as much that way. It could give me like a circular. You know little puffball. Look so then, once I do that, I just start shaping it. I pull some hairs out. I tuck the hair in I just do whatever I have to do in order to get the shape that I'm going for once I get the shape that I'm going for. I go in with a another rubberband and I just tie it off together. I do apply, some got to be free spray, also just so they could hold the curls together and make it last throughout the day. So that's what I just do and then I just start you know wrapping it together. Moving on to doing our edges. Yes, you guys are always asking me how I do my edges or what do I use for my edges, so I'm showing you guys now, so this edge control I use is from beauty underscore by Lau on Instagram. You guys could go check it out I'll leave in the description box down below. I do recommend purchases, it is only $ 10 and it also leaves your hair smooth and doesn't leave it hard or anything, and your edges will last you all day, as you guys can see, I'm running out cuz it is that good. So, starting off, all I do is just call it with my edge brush. I combed the hair downwards. I apply some edge control and then with the edge brush. I just comb downwards with one of my fingers. On the other hand, I hold it in place and just do a swoop, and then I'm gon na repeat that same steps over and over again until I'm done with as many suits as I want to do, you don't have to do as many swoops as I Do, however, you do your edges. However, you, like your edges, you can go ahead and do that, but if you guys want to try out how I do mine, then you guys can just go ahead and see what I do and follow along. So the steps I do to each of my edges are basically the same. All I do is downwards, with the edge rush hold it in place with my finger and just do a soup now for these edges. All I do is I continue to pull the hair from the front of my hairline. I apply some edge control and I'm going to start forming the edge towards the opposite direction from the first edge. I did. If that makes any sense I do guys could see you guys can just see what I'm doing and then follow along. But yes, I will start forming the edges, the opposite direction from when I first did that first edge and then, when going through my edges, I did mess up. You know the first one, but it's okay, cuz! All you got to go. Do is just go back. Comb, it again, and you know just fix it up a little bit now once we're done with our edges. In order for my edges to last all day, I do use this headband. I got from dripping underscore dolls on Instagram and I just wrapped that around my edges and then I leave it on for a couple of minutes. I go do whatever I have to do, take a sip of water, anything and then once I'm done, I remove it, and this is how your edges will look yes, late and late baby. So that's all for today's video
