Messy Side Bun Hairstyle (Tutorial) | Work & Office Hair | Easy Curly Hairstyles

Hello, this curly hairstyle is a must-have for your lookbook to quickly save a messy hair day and still have a great hair day hello. This is april with the curl story, and today my curls do not look their best. It was a product testing day that just isn't working out, so it reminded me of how my hair looked early on in my curly hair journey. So here's an updo that i wore quite often to be able to still wear my curls to work and still feel pretty and polished and put together all at the same time. So it's a low side bun and we're going to do a couple of different styling tricks with it to perfect it and master it for the curls. So i first started my hair parting off to the side, but then see the low pony is on the opposite side of my bangs. That gives a great design balance for this hairstyle. Then i'm going to do what looks like a regular donut bun, but i'm going to pancake it. So this is a low pancaked bun on the side that you can enjoy with your morning, coffee how's, that for a hairstyle name. So i just pulled it apart kind of loosened it up before i'm putting in the bobby pins and i'm gon na use from four to six bobby pins. I plan on just using four just put them in in, like the different clock positions like the twelve three six and nine. So you hit all sides but of course there might be a curl or two that pops out. So i use an extra bobby pin to just hook those individual curls with the bobby pin and then tuck it into the rest of the bun, and we have to do a few finishing touches to have this look last for the entire day. So the balance, if that's looking good, if you need to add a little bit more volume on the side, you can pull a little bit over the tops of your ears for a little bit more of a polished look and then you can leave some bangs out, But if your face framing layers are longer than your chin length, you can just tuck a few of those back with some more bobby pins and then hairspray of course, so i've got all kinds of frizz today. This was a really failed wash day, but i wanted to show you what i did early on in my curly hair journey. My hair was a mess when i first started out it was it it just wasn't going to look good, so i had to do something with it, so i can go out in the world and still present myself and still feel confident that i could, you know, Reflect my style that the image that i wanted for myself and i wanted to have some pretty feminine look, and so this is a great hairstyle to do and then, with this hairspray you can just touch up individual curls. So i love putting hairspray on my fingertips and then being able to run those through the curls just to be able to touch up those curls that you see on the top yeah see those dangling curls. So that's where i'm just gon na hook them with the bobby pin tuck those back so make sure to move around and sort of test out how your hairstyle is working, so that you can finish up polish it up to make sure that it's going to stay In place for the entire day, of course, here i'm just going to add some bigger earrings put on some more blush and really intentionally go out with this.
