Easy 2 Min Hairstyles For Your American Girl Dolls (Perfect For Instagram Photos)

Hello, everyone welcome to aj africa today. I'M super excited because i'm going to be showing you some adorable but super super quick hairstyles. I don't know about all of you guys but like during school year. I have so much less time to like do doll hair, but of course i still want those on fire instagram posts. So all these take two minutes. That'S it two minutes max promise and yeah. You don't really need to know how to do any fancy. Dutch braids. So, let's get started so getting started. The first step for all of these is to brush out the doll's hair, always start at the bottom work. Your way up, i'm using a wire wig brush from my life, but any wire wig brush is perfect. You can also use a spray bottle if you want to, but that wasn't necessary. I'M also going to be using two hair elastics, that's the maximum. All these, if they take any hair elastics, take two. I then i really love when people just section off like little kind of like wispies in the front, so i just tied off two front sections with a third hair tie. I don't count that hair tie because i'm salty and then all you're going to do is you're going to make two sections in the front um trying your best to work with the way the wig is sewn, and then you are just going to tie a ponytail. So you could do one if you wanted to, but oh okay, try it again. Anyway, you can do one if you want to, or you could do one in the center, which is like a more traditional half up half down. But i am absolutely in love with the way it looks with two. I think it looks so cute and kind of like the way where it like kind of looks like something a toddler would wear, but it also is like super cute and like cool. I don't know i really kind of love those kinds of hairstyles and then i just took down the wispies and kind of brushed out the back of her hair and you could do anything with the bottom or you could even braid the top two sections. If you want to that would also look super cute. I just kind of did a little bit of finger curling to make it a little nicer and then realize that you actually can't see her this entire time. Don'T worry i realize this and there she is. Oh, it's so cute, so the next hairstyle is just like a variation of this one or a variation of space buns. I guess - and that's just to do two cute little space buns on the top of her head. I actually do this hairstyle in real life and i think it is so cute. I am obsessed with this hairstyle. I also think it looks super cute from luciana because you know space buns, um yeah. So it's pretty simple. You just twist the hair around itself and then you can secure it with a bobby pin or um hair tie as i did, and if you have three minutes you can also braid instead of twist, and here is the final product. So the next idea is even simpler. It is basically just to do one braid in the front. I think this looks so cute and super easy. You do, of course, need to know how to do a braid and i'm just doing a simple three strand braid, because we're trying to be quick here, but you can also do a fishtail or any other kind of braid. I have very limiting technology braids. Well, okay. I do know how to do a rope, braid there's a tutorial on my channel it'll, be in the corner and i just braided it and secured it with a hair elastic, and i wish i had a scrunchie. I feel like this. One is super cute also. It is so simple, and i also think that a braid tucked into a ponytail adds a lot. Another variation is to do a french braid. If you know how. I think this is even cuter, but of course it does take slightly more time. Okay, so for the next hairstyle, this is kind of like a half up half down, but just with a little more flare start by taking two sections on either side of her head. I also apologize because i burnt myself on my hot glue gun and you guys have to stare at that ugly little welts bad timing. Anywho then secure the two sections together with a rubber band or hair tie, and then what you're going to want to do is just flip it in on itself. This is so easy, but i think it looks so cute you can also, if you want do this with a regular ponytail um with all of her hair and just flip the whole ponytail in on itself. Okay, next you're, going to want to brush your doll's hair into a ponytail anywhere on her head, then secure that with a hair tie and then take a small. But then just take a small section of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair, elastic this and then secure with bobby pin. This can also be applied to any hair anything honestly. It is so simple, but i think it looks so cute this next hairstyle is another kind of play on the half up half down, so i just took two sections on either side of her head. You could also just take all the hair from the top um. This is just what i do instead and then you can just braid the remainder. You can also we're going to twist it around to kind of make a bun, but you could also just twist it or leave the braid down. However, you like it and then just twist it around the hair tie and then i secured it with a another bobby pin. I think this looks so cute because it looks intricate, but it really isn't. Okay, so you're going to want to start by taking matching parts on either side of her head um. I like to do mine, like i would say, in the middle, between kind of, like her part line or the center of her head and the ears so kind of on the side, but not entirely, and then you're going to cross them over like this, because this Is kind of we're going to be making two ponytails on either side of her head, so you're going to cross them over like this and then you're just going to want to secure them. I think this is a really fun way to kind of make two ponytails to look a little more exciting than they probably actually are, while also being super quick and simple next section off a part of on the top of her head and tie it with a Hair tie and then we are going to be tying the bottom section. You can tie it into two sections, but because we just did two ponytails, i'm going to tie it into one. This is a super, easy way that you can make a regular ponytail. Look a little nicer, okay, so this last hairstyle is another way to kind of do a ponytail and it is to just take the hair and just start twisting it gradually adding hair. As you move along the side of her head, i think it's a lot easier to see it than have it explained, and then, when you meet, i met mine a little bit on the side, but you can do the center. You'D. Also do this in two different buns: you just tie it with a hair elastic, although i really wish i had a really cute scrunchie and if you're curious, i do actually have a scrunchie tutorial on my channel, so that'll be in link the corner. Um highly recommend love scrunchies, but i didn't have any with me and then i just kind of tugged on the edges to make it a little bit more voluminous, phenomenal voluminous that doesn't sound right anyway and then i just um brushed out the end.
