Today, we're doing a short haircut on super thin, fine hair, like mine, step one. You need to find where you always part your hair, if you're unsure you're going to be using a middle part, no matter which way, you part it on the top you're going to part it straight down the middle in the back. Now we're going to tuck this behind our ear comb, all of this through to make sure there's no kinks and we're going to create a dog ear as close to the scalp as possible, just like that match it on the other side. Should look like this: here's! What it looks like in the back now we're going to take another rubber band and put it towards the bottom, where we want to cut match it. On the other side, feet are flat on the floor, shoulders back and we're going to feel and decide how much we want to take off you're going to be cutting above the ponytail. So keep that in mind. Take them in the middle. Take a look and make sure it looks good enough we're going to be taking our scissor or shear. It'S okay, if you're, using whatever you've got you're in your bathroom, have some grace, but i will link a dupe to these below if you're interested you're just going to be cutting right above the ponytail perfect. Now you have this match that, on the other side, right above the pony, now we have my two little friends here, not quite enough to donate to the locks of love but we're getting there. Okay now go ahead and slide out the pony release the beast. Hopefully, it's straight enough in the back. Let me know, then we're going to take a look at the front and see if we need to fix anything so just kind of comb it out, and i can see like there's a little bit over here, comb it down and you can see. I don't know if you're going to be able to see, but there's a few hairs, always cut as close to the body as you can. You shouldn't have any holes where your ear is, or this big whoop. If you've ever had a haircut buy a new hairdresser, they typically always forget that we have ears so because we over directed it back, that should save you from that one crucial mistake: she should be okay there. That side looks good. It is a blunt cut so straight across if you do not like that. Take this all together, take your scissors shears, whatever you're doing and go up down up down up down up down up down just using the tip on the ends, and that creates a feathered. Look but honestly, if you have hair texture like mine, very thin, fine, you need a blunt cut because it creates the illusion of weight. Trickery. Ladies something's telling me this one's a little long. That looks pretty good, i'm just going to put it against my shirt and kind of cut make sure the line is straight. Now, i'm going to check for balance just by taking two pieces and kind of feeling. This side is like a little bit longer. It'S not much, but it definitely is longer. So i'm going to put it behind my ear group it together and just hold it without the ponytail and cut across now. It'S probably kind of hard to see because my hand's in the way, but i'm just cutting a straight line across now, if you want layers a really simple way to do this, since our hair is thin and fine, we want to create a horseshoe parting on the Top so we're going to take it right about where the arch of the brow is around town here, meeting this other side, okay and if you're a little bit nervous or if this is your first time. Please clip this up and put a ponytail in the back right here, so you don't get confused. We'Re not cutting. What'S in this ponytail doesn't have to be the neatest, but it does need to resemble a horseshoe of some type. This is going to be our layer. Take this and comb this all forward same kind of idea, because we over direct this when you flip this up, it will be long gradually going into short, put a ponytail here slide this way down. Ladies, you do not want to create a huge layer slide it down. It may not look like you're cutting off much, but you are i'm going to point cut this not cutting straight across, but just going in and hacking at it at a diagonal. I want these to look more natural and feathered. Now we can take the ponytail out. Hopefully you can see kind of short going to long and in the front here we've got these feathered layers. Typically, we do carry weight on these two back corners. If you have a lot of weight that you're noticing just take that back corner shave off the bottom, that is your length, do not cut that or you'll have a whoops right there over direct this way up go way up with this hold it with some crab Claws and just cut that off when you release this short going to long gets rid of the weight i'm gon na match that, on the other side, all you're doing is cutting this point off. That'S where the weight is so you're just going in whoop shaving it off cutting it off whatever. Now, if you need it shorter, just repeat the process. I'M gon na go through and put this powder play in my hair anytime. I wear my natural hair and short. I like to put this in it. It doesn't feel good, but it gives it a texture and it makes it look thicker. Sometimes that stuff makes it look fried. So i'm going to go in with all the plex or morphine a laplex number, seven bonding oil and kind of hit the ends with it. My hair is very frizzy today, so i'm going to use this pantene thing. I found it like five below for fly. Aways not really sure what it is, but you just do this and it kind of helps with that. A dryer sheet will also work so that product makes it look greasy. That'S okay, it'll be fine all right! Ladies! That'S it thanks for joining me here. In my bathroom, if you have any questions comment down below, i have a lot of new videos that i'm posting this week on hair color retouches for highlights super simple, super quick tutorials, so make sure to check those out i'll see you next time you
