If you're new here hit that subscribe, button click the little bell to notify you of my next videos - hey everyone, so i'm going to be bringing you the biggest question that i get asked daily in the salon. What is bang on trend right now for hair cutting we're going to go through a load of the different haircuts that are bang on trend for autumn winter 2020, leading us into 2021.? We all want to leave 2020 behind. So, let's look at what's going to be taking us through into 2021. First haircut is the shag, a multi-layered effortlessly glamorous haircut now, if you've seen the 3d collection myself and david murray did last year for joyco, we had a modern day shag in there with our inspiration as jane fonda. This haircut can be worn long and short. You don't be going too long. You could wear it around about here, just below jaw, so you can still get all that texture through there or you can wear it just below the collarbone or anywhere in between one of the best products that i recommend, for it is joyco zero heat, zero heat Is a product that you just squirt into your hand, work it into your wet, damp hair and then go no heat needed it de-frizzes and just keeps hold of that style. Making it look super super cool, so the shag will give you all of that texture. All around the face, it will give you the volume at the top, because we're taking those layers slightly shorter, giving you that bounce and they're giving you all that texture that you can just wash and go. If you want to blow dry, it blow dry it. If you want to put rollers in it, put rollers in it, if you just want to wash it and go, that's the haircut for you big big trend for 2020 autumn winter into 2021. What are the next big trends and something that i like to offer my clients every other appointment? Third appointment, i like to keep my appointments fresh and, if i'm not talking to you about a new fringe, then i don't know what i'm doing so. Every third appointment with my clients i like to offer them something a little bit new. Maybe it's a little bit of a change in tone. Maybe it's adding a fringe and talk about fringes. Bold fringes are going to be massive for 2021, so make sure you get ahead of the trend and start wearing it autumn. Winter 2020, so bold fringes can be the big blood fringes, micro fringes, heavy side, fringes or really heavy bangs. The ones that are face framing sit through here, a lot of texture through here, the most popular fringe that i can think of right now is the brigitte bar dough, slightly textured flowing wispy that won't overwhelm the face, something really wearable. Wear it a little bit longer. Tuck it behind the ear. Wear it just here that sits on your glasses super cool. So bold fringes are another big trend, 2020 autumn winter, but you can be rocking it until 2021. One of my absolute values, the blunt bob, so the blunt bob can be worn at many lengths, we've seen the lob. Last year we seen the grown out bobs. Now we're talking about the blunt bob chanel bob french bob, whatever you want to call it as long as it's blunt and sitting around about here. It'S bang on trend, so this shorter style will take you center stage with the precise cutting so make sure when you're booking your appointment. You book in with a precision hair cutting specialist in the salon, as well as the blunt bobs, we're also going to see slightly angular and the asymmetric bobs coming back in this is a salon favorite with me, because it's what i entered the industry in with i Was doing the graduated bobs of victoria beckham and then, when she went slightly asymmetric we had frankie from the saudis. Did we have cheryl cole? Did she ever graduated bob or asymmetric bob they're coming back bigger than ever so make sure if you're looking for a new bob and you've been wearing it blunt, maybe go for a little graduated asymmetric, textured bob now we're looking at bold and voluminous pixie cuts. So pixie cuts have always been worn, really sort of tight to the head. Take the plunge and take inspiration of mia farrow so get your pictures on your phone. Take it to your hairdresser as much as the myth is that hairdressers don't like pictures being brought to us. We absolutely love it. It gives us an idea of where we're heading and the lengths that you sort of like so if you're saying pixie cut, we've got 20 to 30 different pixie cuts running through our heads and we're thinking right. What'S going to suit you, what's going to look best if you've got a picture there saying i love that that gives us some direction as to where we're going to go lengthwise you want to be keeping it modern, so make sure you get some choppiness in there Bit of texture, which also increases the volume so pixie cuts, is another trend that you want to be hitting up this autumn winter. So one of the biggest cuts and one of my favorites to be honest with the ways that you can cut it. It'S the simplicity of it and it's something: that's been a salon, favorite salon winner and a client favorite for a while now and that's the collarbone cuts, so the collarbone cut is the one length cut that sits around here. Really sexy really lived in and that's something to talk about with your hairdresser and, if you're, a hairdresser watching this talk to your client, do you want it lived in? Do you want it quite blunt? Do you want it, so you can just get up and go most clients will say. I want something really low maintenance, something easy to style, and then, if they're thinking about that, this is the haircut for them. The collarbone cut can be worn effortlessly. You can curl it, you can put half up half down, put it all up. If you want to wear it poker straight, you wear it curly you put rollers in it. You can do everything to this because you've got the length in there and you haven't got too many layers. So when you're talking to your hairdresser talk about the little lived in ends, don't wear it too. Blunt get them to point cutter and if you're a hairdresser offer your clients, these different different types of finishes, do they want it blunt? Do they want it lived in? They want a bit of texture, but not too much. They still want to be able to put it up and wear it really simply. This is a take on the classic bob, but keeping the length, keeping the bluntness keeping the fullness, but for clients that aren't really ready to take the plunge and go short. This is probably one of my favorite haircuts to do right now, and it's something that clients really love as long as you can show them different ways to style it different products to use they're going to be loving. This haircut, this season so make sure you're giving them all of the possibilities, if you're a stylist and if you're a client ask your hairdresser, how different ways that you can style wear it. What can you do with it and they'll be happy to show you so they're my hair predictions for autumn winter 2020 leading into 2021?
