This is a bit of an experiment for me, so, please let me know what you think by liking this video and commenting. If there is interest in me doing some more hairstyles for older women videos, I'll give it a shot. Otherwise, I'll stick with makeup :) Let me know what you think!

#FabulousHairstyles #HairstylesforOlderWomen #SixtyAndMe

Hi everyone - it's mark Repp manning here - welcome to 60 and me 60 and me is a community of fabulous women over 60 years of age who are living life with passion and Verve. We are doing our best to make the most of this wonderful transition time in our lives, and you know just and look and feel as good on the outside as we feel on the inside and we I do a lot of makeup. Tutorials and people love experimenting with makeup, trying new things, sometimes on a budget and always looking for new and interesting ideas for you're, just making the best of our bodies and faces and your lives as they change in the 60s. Now one thing that people have asked me to to do is a hair video. Now I took this on because I think that I represent you know kind of the challenges that lots of women face with their hair in their 60s. Now, to be honest, I color my hair. My hair is completely gray, it would have been great, but in my 40s I went gray very young and I've been coloring, my hair for years and you'll see I I don't always you know, do the best job, because I color my own hair now and I Don'T worry about it too much. You know the blonde kind of blends in with everything, and it's it's all. Okay. So that's the first thing I love long hair. I'Ve had long hair most of my life, but one of the big challenges for a lot of older women is thinning, hair and my hair definitely is thinning. You know it's it's not as thick as it used to be, and that does sometimes make you feel like you have limitations in how you do your hair, how you can play with it - and you know just just feeling, like you can't really experiment now bottom line Is we all, I think, agree if you're over 60 you're pretty much weren't too worried about what people think of you? You know you realize that they aren't really looking that much and it doesn't really matter it's not it's not that you're invisible is that you really are worrying about other things, we're thinking about other ways to express who you are your your clothes, your makeup, your the Work, you do the contribution that you make. You know your your purpose and your passion in life. It doesn't have really a lot to do with. You know how you look, but if you get up in the morning and you look in the mirror - and you say you're doing great - you look fine everything's, okay, you know I'm 69 years old, I just turned 69 and I feel better now, honestly than I have Ever in my life - and so I you know, I'm kind of a you know really strong advocate for just going for it just just going for it. So here let's do hair now my hair is naturally very straight. I put when I wash it. I put a couple of curlers in there and it or rollers. I think you call it in the States - and you know this is pretty much how I wear my hair every day. So I've got my little brush here so pretty much if you're doing, if I'm doing my hair like this I'll, actually often straighten it with a straightener, you know and I'll just use it do a fairly traditional Bob. You know that's pretty easy to do. I will also use this little back combing technique, of course, that everybody used to do when they were in their 20s, just to give it a little bit more texture and and keep it in place. So that is my day-to-day look really really simple. Now, as oh by the way, my I used to have bangs, but I nor a fringe, but now I it's down to there so and I did that for a reason, because I, like short hair in moderation but not super short, not a pixie. Yet so another thing I often do with my hair is just pull it behind my ears. You know this is one thing that we do and people of them comment how it looks okay or even that they like it. They prefer it behind my ears and I actually do now when I put it behind my ears. I'Ll often I don't. I can do this without um I'll often turn it up at the ends like that, and I will you know, do a flip. I think that looks kind of nice and fresh and different, and I do have some hair bands that I often wear. So that's the second way I would wear it. I don't do too much like a garish band, although people do look great with flowers and things, but I'll just usually put a little gold band in my like that, and just put it back and it keeps it away from my eyes. I may just bring a little bit forward. You know just to keep it a little bit casual and then I can just just look a little different. Like the flip. I do have another headband out tray that um I used to have lots of them, but I brung I've kept one. I really do like it. Some I haven't worn this in a while, but it's I love it. It'S kind of just a little bow. It'S got. Um sparkles on it not put it on my hair. I just think that looks kind of sweet. I am. It would be nice just with a very simple black turtleneck or back to outfit, just something a little bit more. I want it up just a bit. It stands out a bit, so that's a headband, I do do actually wear and I have a few others, but I think that kind of gives you an idea of what you can do with headband. So those are the two kind of basic looks for me. So don't be afraid to just try something, a little different and then use hairspray, and you know whatever you need to keep it in place. So that's the next one now another thing that people often comment on - and I do this quite often is mix that up so I'll put this part of my hair in my face and then this part I'll pull back make this come around and that I think It'S kind of an interesting way to wear, especially if you bring that over your eyes a little bit. You know it kind of gets that who is that Lauren Bacall? Not that I look like Lauren Bacall trust me, but is that look of you know having that sweeping bit over your eyes and having a little bit coming back now? One thing that you can do with that look is put a clip of some sort in your hair on this side, and I've got some funky little ones that I like to wear and you can just really put it in just slide it in like this. You might need a little bit of backcombing to to keep it in place, but you get the idea - and you know that that's a nice look for the evening if you just want to put a little bit over your ear to add with a simple pearl earring. It just makes it look a little bit put together and you can play with these little beautiful hair Suri's. I'Ve got some other ones too. That I'll show you in a second, I think look better with your hair pull back, but another thing I do. The second sis is a third one. Is I've got these little Clips, the kind of hair? What do you call these ones right there, little combs, that's what they are, and you just put. I just push it back and then just slide that into my hair, like that, I can maybe do it a little bit from the behind it's probably better, and then I do other side as well, and this actually is nice because it gives you a kind of An opportunity to give a bit more fullness around your at the front of your face and again I'll usually bring a little bit forward. Can you see it's kind of nice? I like that, and so you just couldn't play with clips and combs, and you know, keep the length but do some fun things with the top as well. Another thing I do sometimes is just pull it up now I for this purpose. Today, I'm going to show you two clips this one. I wear all the time on the just pulling my hair back and putting that in the in the back of my hair, really really nice very simple, not too heavy and I'll. Just sometimes literally just pull my hair back I'll, just put a little bit of them band in there to keep it out of my face here. Do this: without there we go, you know it. You could just imagine that being in your hair would just pull back like that. That'S a very, very simple look and I really love that look now associated with pulling my hair back, sometimes just put it like in a little bar, I mean it's not very much. Hair there now, so I don't try to do too much fancy with that, but you can make your you can play pretend with short hair and I often do bring these little bits of um short hair to the front, and you know just just pretend that I Have short hair and I think that's that's a lot of fun. I do think it changes your attitude. Doesn'T it when you have very light short hair. So I would like this on my videos and when I'm just out and about I do like it short. So that's another look. One thing I often do do, and I think this is an evening. Look for sure is pull that this piece I'll leave it up like this and up and just pull a little bit back with a clip and I'll just using a blonde clip. So it's not visible. We'Re too visible I'll just bring that sweep it back and just clip that in place just for a second, and this is where having that thin hair really is a challenge, because it's not as easy to I'm going to pull this this side back now, it's not As easy to clip things in your hair, when it's very very fine, so I do sometimes just use a bit of hairspray. This is just a very simple volumizing hairspray. If I can write without - and that's only to give my hair just a teeny bit of stickiness a little bit of texture and then I'll do fun things with this side like, for example, this is a beautiful little comb. It'S just very simple. Nothing too fancy but all sometimes bring that in, and I can just isn't that nice and just pull it behind your ear a little bit, so it doesn't get in the way and then it's do one of those conversation pieces. You know it's like having a necklace or a t-shirt or a shirt with two or three little diamond buttons or a little um. Oh, what's that a little pearl? It'S just that detail that when you, when you turn your head and you look down you look up. It'S just really sweet and that one I I do love that one. That'S one of my favorites, so don't be afraid these were very inexpensive by the way I bought them at a drugstore a brand, and so they don't have to be incredibly big investment they're. Just for fun, so that one I do like as a clip and then there's another one if I can find it, I've used this pearl one already, which i think is another great one for mingling in the hair, and you can also get a little swirly ones That, literally, you can place slips right. Flowers, if I like a little spiral and those are kind of cute too, you can kind of put those in your hair, but it kind of just hides in your hair and you can just play with it. So that's another! Look all right now, the final one I want to show you is actually well it's it's one that I haven't worn yet anywhere, because it's just a little bit over the top, but I think I'm gon na wear it maybe for the new year, and that is When I picked up at Zara, I think I bought it on there online, so I didn't actually buy it in the shop, so you might have to go on to Zara comm and look for this one. Now, for those of you who know me in my jewels, my necklaces and clothes, I'm a big jewel color person, and when I saw this headband it was just like. Oh my goodness, this is so cute. Isn'T this sweet? It'S two bands is joined together, and this is one that you could put on. While I was thinking about putting on it's like a hippie headband remember those days or you could just place it kind of like a little crown like a little tiara whoops. I can just get that down. I think that's really sweet. Oh my goodness! I love it. Can you see on the back a bit? So it's got two bands. You can pull them a little bit closer together if you like, or you can just leave it like that and have a beautiful accent in your hair. So you know, I hope, you've enjoyed these little ideas. There'S nothing really too extravagant. Here I mean it's really what you can do with shortish medium length hair, and I guess the messages have fun. Just have fun, with your hair have fun with your accessories and let them speak for you so hope that this has been fun and helpful. I'D love to know about the kinds of jewels you enjoy, wearing how you accessorize, how you decorate your hair and, let's give each other some inspiration and ideas. So thank you. So much for being here hope. You'Ve enjoyed this one and I look forward to talking to you all again really soon but bye for now.

Sleeved Aftersixty: I went “naturally grey” almost three years ago. It was liberating and empowering. I also began to have thinning hair and went a little crazy when I began to notice it. Saw my dermatologist who suggested Rogaine, it works. Dry shampoo will also add volume. I’ve been thinking of doing a hair video.

Joan Clayton Johnson: My hair has always been thin. I cut it short when I was young but it never looked like it was when I got out of salon. Could never get it right. Now I'm retired and have long hair because it is financially cheaper for me. I would like to see a tutorial on styles for thin hair.

Karen Lowes: Margaret, that last headband is SO YOU! It looks like many of your necklaces, all multi-colored and sparkly. I love these fun videos. Thanks so much.

Nancy Kinch: I love your hair styling ideas! I have medium length hair as well, and it is very fine and straight. The only problem with me is I find anything in my hair uncomfortable. I only put my hair back when I exercise, hot, makeup, etc. Sometimes I wear a small blip in my hair, but as soon as I arrive home it comes out.

Old and Still Here: I’m once again trying to style my medium length hair up off my neck to survive the Texas heat, but I’m 66 and have been feeling too old to use cute hair do dads. You’ve given me some inspiration, and I thank you.

Dee B: Bumble and Bumble (soft hold) styling spray works like a champ to assist with accessories! A super great product!!

Pat Wagner: When you said you were 69 when you made this, I realized we're the same age ! I was 69 in Dec. '17, too. My hair has thinned out so much ! I never had a thick head of hair to begin with....& now I'd guess more than half is gone. Thankfully it's probably mostly noticeable to me. I don't have bald spots . But I'm realizing I need to reassess & re-think how to wear my hair, & maybe the products I use on it. I'm a long hair girl. I prefer long hair on me...but ! since it has thinned out so much & is very fine & wispy, I have to face reality. It doesn't look good long any more. This week I trimmed the wispy ends which evened it up & makes it appear thicker. It still goes slightly below my shoulders ….but I love longer hair. Just can't have it any more. Long hair looks best when it's thick & lustrous. Thank you for this video, Margaret. I never use hair spray...but your tip might be worth trying. My hair is so baby fine, nothing wants to stay put. Even before it thinned out, even when I was a teenager, I could put a barrette in my hair & within minutes, it would literally slide right down my hair & land on the floor ! LOL I adore pretty, print material headbands...but, they, too, do not stay put on my head. I wonder if your hair spray trick would work ! Oh...one new product I am trying is root lifter. This gives my hair just a bit more volume but not over-the-top. I'm not a big hair girl...just not comfortable w/that look on me. But w/the thinned hair, I am realizing I need a little help & the root lifter is working out nicely.

Gail Marin: Fun video Margaret! I love playing with my hair and am always trying to change it up. Love all your accessories and the double jewel band is perfect for the New Year's Eve party. Best to you during this holiday season!!!

Jennifer Greathouse: After many years of wearing short hair, it’s medium length now with lots of wave & still fairly thick. I have been very lazy with styling it, but you’ve given me tons of inspiration! Thanks for sharing!

California Glo: Thank you for these cute ideas. My daughter is taking me out to dinner this weekend for my birthday. It's a fancy restaurant in San Francisco. I am going to buy a beautiful hair clip to wear. Thank you for the inspiration.

Andrea Moon: I don't know when it happened, but my formerly straight hair now has a natural wave I can flat iron it or add sea salt spray to accentuate the waves It is fun to have versatile hair Great video - nice ideas

Deborah Hetzel: I've bought many headbands, combs and clips from the dollar store. I enjoy decorating them. Now I sell them. I also wear them. Your right, it's fun to decorate ourselves up a little bit and the hobby part of it consumes some of my time in a constructive way. Thank you for your video.

K: Margaret, thank you for your videos! This one is very inspiring. I need help with my hair. Love you! You are so cute and fun!

Jen Gus: Fun video! Just because we are older (I'm a few days from 66) doesn't mean we don't like hair & make up!

Chantal56: I love the way you play with your hair. I’m 63, had my menopause 14 years ago and my hair is still very thick. I’ve always had a lot of hair and feel blessed to have kept them this way. But I don’t know how to style them. I wear them under my shoulders or in a bun or a pony tail but nothing very fancy. I will try to accessorize them with clips, they are so beautiful on you, I hope they will do the trick on me.

Andrea Arias: Thank you Margaret for so many fun, inexpensive hair ideas!

Linda Bekecs: Love these ideas, Margaret! ❤️ Thankyou.

C rose Z: Right at the peak of menopause, my hair began to fall out, I mean fall out, handfuls a day of hair. I was mortified. My daughter is a hair stylist I showed her the handfuls of hair. First she wanted me to check with my physician if my medications might be at cause. After finding that it menopause at fault she started me on Nioxin shampoo and conditioner. I might add that I checked with my physician to be sure that there would be no interactions between my medications and the Nioxin. Once cleared I started on the duo. It made a world of a difference! I couldn't be more pleased. The only area that didn't do as well is the very front, but I wear bangs so it hides most of it along with a nice dose of hairspray. Thank you for allowing me to share, blessings....

Susan Crawford: That was great. I have the exact same hair in length and fullness only mine is frizzy and I straighten it. Today I'm going to go out and buy some headbands and lighter clips and combs. Something new to try!

Marilyn Peppers: The double band is beautiful. You can own the look when you wear it! It's head jewelry!!!

Valjean Macias: Love the ideas. I recently started using volumnizing dry shampoo and it helps hide my thinning areas on my head. Love the bow on the head band and need to buy clips. Have fun and change is fun.Your attitude is your best look. Thanks for the video.❤✌

moon glow: I am getting my hair cut and dyed in a couple of days. It hasn't been done in quite a few years!! Thanks for the tips!!!

Melissa Culpepper: Thank you for this video. I really appreciate your contribution to older women

Julie Venus: You're a wonderful inspiration and beautiful woman

Ruthann Amarteifio: Just a hint for the combs---Put comb in backwards, then flip it over. It will be much more sturdy and stay in so much better! Margaret, I hope your holidays are all you wish them to be! <3 <3 :)

LindaLuxable: I have a hanging pocket shoe bag, filled with hair accessories. I even have some of the original banana combs! I love adding a little style this way too.

Susan Kline: Fun video and you have some wonderful hair accessories. I like the two combs on either side pulling the hair back and giving it volume at the same time. I'm going to try it

karen jones: hi, margaret! great styling, love your accessories so much! the double band is beautiful and very much you! i'm still coloring mine to help hide some of the thinning in the top front. i went short so i can brush to one side or the other. dang, it's a comb over - lol! nonetheless, i love your videos and hope you have/had a wonderful birthday! mine is soon after christmas.

leah smith: Hi Margaret loved this video so much...I use to color my hair and back in 2012 I participated in CancerFreeze and in honor of my mom who was a 9 year breast cancer survivor me and 14 other ladies shaved off all our hair to raise money for this very worthy cause. I decided I would not color my hair and when it grew back its the same beautiful colors of white and silver my mom had. I cut my hair and style it and I keep a short asymmetrical pixie and love it. I wear headbands, ribbons, and flower crowns and absolutely love wearing bandanas. I have embraced growing gray gracefully and have no regrets on shaving my hair. You always looks so wonderful and very elegant. Have a great day, take care and God bless........( one more thing my hair is naturally wavy and curly so I can wear it curly or straight too).

Shirley Hook: Hi, My name is Shirley I just started watching your videos. And found this one. I will be 70 years young this October. You and I are same in age. I have the same type hair as you have. And you gave some really great tips in how to style thin hair. I love you spirit your zest for life. Here I was beginning to think why bother, but watching this gave me a new since of life going into my 70's. You know we still have time to enjoy our life. It just takes a young heart and the will to do so. Thank you for giving your time here it means so much to all of us here thank you.

Janice Duerr: That pink color is fabulous for you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

SRFinSLO: Margaret, I enjoy your videos and hearing your thought and opinions. Watching you play with your hair tonight, I had the thought that you would look quite good in bangs. Your forehead has height so cutting bangs would bring both interest and softness to your face as well as add some splash to your cut. I am experiencing that I have a secret, suppressed hairdresser in me that burst out intermittently. I thank you for the opportunity to share my opinion with you.

Schwendimama: Loved your video! You are darling and so fun with your ideas! Thanks so much

Veronica Rivero: Thank you so much for this video... You've inspired me to cut my hair and try all these styles!. How fun!.. // My hair is lower than my shoulders. ☝but i ALWAYS..wear it in a bun... Time for a change ,

The Fosters: Good ideas--I especially love the double jeweled headband.

Cher I: I love the combs in you hair. So pretty!

Eva Ellis: Hi Margaret!  When I look at your youtube picture, I can't help but miss your fringe/bangs!  I thought you looked so cute with them.  I know you decided to grow them out, but here's one vote for cutting them again.  You are lovely and I hope you don't mind my honesty.  Love watching your videos!

Shamsa'z Painting: Hi Margaret ,you r a wonderful example of age , grace and natural beauty .

Phyliss Wood: Love the video, all the ideas you had to wear your hair, and the accessories. ..Happy Holidays

Gale Overmyer: Your hair looks LOVELY today!!!!!!!

Jane Smith: Wow, the jeweled head band. Awesome! LOL. I've used all those hair toys, prefer long hair because it's easier to manage for my particular hair type. When I'm busy and don't want to be bothered, it's still a high, spread out pony tail to add height and volume.

Marie Gilchrist: Thanks so much for sharing. I have silver hair that I love. Never too old for hair styling and accessories.

Kathy Roy: I love the tiara look. Bright & perky.

Charming Manalo: You should try a topper ( ie Brerlin by Noriko). They r great for thinning hair.

Cee Cee: Love it!

Joni Bernard: I was bowled over when you mentioned you were 69! I guessed early 60's, at the most! I love to watch your videos, Thank You so very much for All of them!

Terri Bourgoin: I would love to see your hair in full curl, it would make your hair look much, much fuller.

Barbara Von Eitzen: Like your ideas. Haven’t thought about hair accessories. Just turned 70. I can’t color my hair right now because of of open heart surgery. Going to look for fun hair bands and such. Thanks

Barbara Ruiz: A lot of cute Ideas!!

sandra smith: Thank you Margaret. You look so pretty x

Nancy Faubel: I liked the comment that the bow headband would go nicely with a turtleneck sweater...could you do a video on how to make average clothes more stylish? IE how to make a black turtleneck pull together an outfit with a scarf or accessories? My wardrobe is very plain and I wonder how I could just buy a few accessories and jazz it up? Not sure if you read comments that are this late (video posted 5 months ago!) but just an idea. Thanks! Nancy

Ross Mackenzie: You don’t need to do anything love your energy has been amazing. Just keep smiling:

Mary Susan Reid-Daniels: Lovely presentation. May I simply share that as attractive as your hair colour is I sense you would be stunning too with your natural gray? just a thought.

r pal: What a cutie you are! Thanks for the great ideas! ♡

M: Hello Margaret, yes, more hair videos, please! I had an idea...would it be possible for you to bring on a stylist and try on some wigs? I would just love to see how different you'd look with different colours/lengths/shapes. I have let my hair go grey and it is very blah, but it is still so dark in areas that I hesitate to colour it in case I end up with several colours on my head at the same time. I would like some inspiration, please. Perhaps you could go to a salon and film the transformations? Just an idea. Hope it is not too "way out."

Sylvia Butler: Loved this video!!!

Sarah Hutchinson Art: Beautiful!

nogrouchy: Have always loved hairbands as they cover hair roots of a different colour, and, they give you a youthful look. Unfortunately I have to sort them out now as in combination with spectacles they don't work any longer - too much behind my ears! Maybe anyone has a solution for my "problem"?

Feralgal46: Loved the hair ideas...my hair is just a "hair" longer than yours so I will be trying the styles in days to come. I personally miss your bangs. I loved them on you. I think they were very youthful. Either way, you are attractive and the most beautiful jewelry you have worn is your smile. Thanks for the info!

Karen Haywood: I just turned 68 and have found that Biotin supplements work well for my hair, which has always been baby fine, but is no longer "thin."

Maureen Clayton: Happy Birthday Margret. I too dye my hair, have done for years, blonde, no grey hairs to be seen here. My daughter knows , the day they put me in a coffin, I better have blonde hair, hehe. You have lovely hair it always looks nice. Well the sun is shinning here, it's the 20 the of December, so I better get up and have breakfast on the deck in the sun. Maureen NZ x

Lila Webberley: Try wigs, they are so fun. I've always had thin mousy brown hair. Now I can have gray, blond or even pink hair and no chemicals on my bio hair.

A S: That’s stunning! Please wear that! Don’t save it!!! That’s a very nice jeweled headband !

Lani Lok: Aloha Margaret, I did want to see if you could do a segment on going gray or white after 60. I’m 80 y/o now and I decided to go gray Jan 2018. I’ve colored my hair since I was in my 20’s And decided to go natural. I was experiencing hair loss and thinning. I am halfway there and by November I should not have anymore brown/black coloring. I have always worn longish hair but after several months, new hair started to appear which has made me happy. The front and sides are Snow White. Anyway, I’m receiving a bit more respect now .... I love all your ideas for changing hairstyles using combs, etc. in creating different looks.

Mireya M: Thank you!!! you are and look so adorable. I wear a lot of hair bands.

Tasiawful1: You seem a beautiful soul plus all your hair bands are very pretty.

poppy flower: You are such an inspiration. My hair is very thin. It is a little longer than shoulder-length. If I brush it too briskly or tease it, I risk losing even more of it! I, too, wear things in my hair, like clip-on beads and feathers. I always crimp my hair, because I think of it as my trademark, going back to more hippy days. I wonder if anyone has the following problem, when dyeing their hair..... the color washes right out or turns copper-colored! I have light brown hair, so the gray just seems to blend in. Yes, would enjoy more hair videos. Thank you for being you. I am 75.

Terry Lynn Creel: What a dear sweet lady whom I enjoyed listening to. She gave me some ideas to think about.

Sharon La Tour: Lovely video!

Beach Seeker: Margaret, I must say the bob haircut is very flattering for your face shape.  Also love the new warmer hair color you are using.  The combination of the cut and color are very attractive on you!

Mary Mahon: Lovely video - the inner 'girl' came through. I'm 70 and even surprise myself sometimes

Teresaj.: You have such a nice way about you Margaret... Thankyou.. ❤️ ❤️

Yacqueline Hellwig: Yeah she said she is 69, no way! She is beautiful in and out, so inspiring!

Norma Agnew: I have just turned 69as well,I have waist length hair don't have it done at all feel to old but love to try a lot of updoes.

Amy Utube: You’re so beautiful!

Robin Larsen Bullard: Your manner is exuberant...fun to watch

Norine Mueller: You look great as always

Paula Storm: That color is fabulous on you

docsmctink: Is the bow replacing your tree?!?! Fun video--thx!

g gray: Love your style

Sheila Himmelman: Thank-you loved the video and your gave me ideas of what to do with the mane. Time to change things up a bit. You are the best.

Ana Larson: So lovely

Katharina Baendl: I´m in my early 40´s, but today my daughter said, my hairstyle looked too girlish. (I had two buns at the back of my head) Should I care? I think it suits my type.

Debbie Krieg: I spray the inside of the clip with hairspray as well to help it stay in.

Jolene Hedstrom: Very nice

JAN McMICHAEL: Your hair looks great this length..you look younger..

Heidi Diego: Im 52 yrs old can I be part of your group ? I'm just terrified cutting my hair. I just love that Bob style and I'm just thinking what my coworkers are going to say. Why is that ? Four yrs ago I cut it very short and my brother started laughing and asked me what the heck happened to my hair. And when I went to work co-workers would look at me but not one person ever told me a nice complete they just stayed quite so to that means they didn't like my hairstyle.
