RaDona starts off with cutting her hair very blunt in the back and then with her clippers

she cleans up the neck and haircut. You then go in at the top and cut it very bluntly. Then go

into the back of their head. In the back, you are going to cut it super tight. You use the point

cut technique on the top and back. The problem with thick hair and this kind of haircut is it

gets bulky really fast. The way to fix that is to put in a lot of texture. You pretty much just use

the point cut technique all over your head. On the side, you hold it out to cut. To keep up with

this haircut you need to come in once a month to keep it from getting bulky. It makes it even

harder to style if it is too bulky. This haircut goes over her hair so RaDona point cuts up to her

hair. This haircut is perfect for anyone who wants a nice and easy style. With point cutting and

this hair style, you need to make sure you do not take off a lot of length. For the top, this

haircut has it having a lot of chunky tops. So there will be a ton of texture to do. You just kind

of chop into this. The bangs will be a tiny bit longer. Not super long but not super short. Make

sure you do not take off a lot of length on the ears. So that way you cut a lot of the front and a

lot of the back, not the sides. This was a couple of years ago a super trendy short hairstyle.

This is especially busy for women who need an easy hairstyle so they can quickly do it and

then go. RaDona uses the texturizing shears all over the hair and then gets the razor and cuts

a little bit so that it is more chunky. This is what you need to do if the hair is super thick so that

it has more texture. Using the razor makes it super piecey and not all the same length. It does

not make it look weird this way. RaDona just takes enough off so that it looks piecey. Then

with the razor to the bangs, she shaves it a little bit to get it to be piecey and not bulky without

taking the length off. The texture is what will make the hair really stick up on its own. After

putting in a little bit of products, you will blow dry the hair. Make sure you move your fingers

back and forth so that it will have a lot of movement. You start off with blow drying the back,

then the sides, then when it is about 80% dried, you will use the epic wet brush while blow

drying. This will give it even more movement and dry it a lot faster. ( the link is below for this).

To sum it all up, this is a part of our trendy short hairstyles for women over 60. This is

perfect for all types of hair-, especially for thick hair. This is a very complimentary haircut for

anyone, not just women over 60.

For styling, RaDona uses her “Magic Products” from Monat. RaDona uses the Monat

root lifter to give it more volume and keep it like that throughout the day. RaDona then goes in

with the Monat Moose ( this is super concentrated so make sure you only use one squirt or it

will cause more problems than solve) you will put this out throughout the hair. Then after

blowing drying her hair, you put in two drops of Monat’s Rejuvenique oil to make it shine and

condition. Then with thicker hair, you will use Monat’s taffy. ( if it is thinner, you will use

Monat’s clay - which is the perfect replacement for Distortion) then to finish it off you just put in the Monat Hairspray.

Hi everyone, so this is Lisa, and this is the haircut that I was talking to you guys about. I'M really excited to show you this um. She gets tons of compliments on her hair right, so she is a real team. What do you call you, and so everywhere she goes? She gets lots of compliments. I love it. It'S super funny, so she has a ton of hair. It'S fine, the textures, fine, that she has a lot of hair, but I'm gon na show you her haircut um. She likes the bottom. We just we come straight across here. Just make this blunt. Now I'm just going to clean this up just make that nice and clean that's the best right, just getting that awfully set yeah, make it all nice and clean okay and then up here on top just come in. I yeah I really chop into this. We like it like lots of texture and lots of movement. I would say it's about just over an inch inch and a half on the top as far as length how long it is okay and then just follow that down with that right. Here is when I'm gon na start coming in when people want it tight back here I always like to fill my fingers against the their head. I just like to keep it tight. Okay, so up here just point cut into that. Hopefully everybody's having a good day. Thanks for jumping on and watching, yeah Lisa, calm and today and I was like yeah, looks like you need some texture, because she just sounds so much hair that that's a lot of. I think people's problems why they don't love their hair if they have a lot of hair, is it gets bulky fast? So the key to that is lots of texture, which I'll show you that here in a little bit but yeah, we just go tight against the head right here. You can see I'm angling, just the shape of her head point cut an angle in okay sites. Just hold those out so Lisa I've had people ask before Lisa comes once a month. Um, you know to keep up her haircut because that's that's a lot of people's questions is: what's the up, Keith um, you know things like that. So yeah she comes once a month to keep this up. Just because, like I was saying it does, it gets really bulky. That is a good point and harder to style. If you heard that I'm gon na come this way and and it's so true, it's crazy. What a haircut will do makes it so ho much easier, ok, just point cutting into that, and she likes it over her ear. So I just kind of point cut into that up to her ear. Ok, now this side same thing yeah. It goes from like five minutes to like to when it's longer too short the best, and you guys will see that when I go to style it how fast it is. So if you need an easy, fast haircut, this one would be it. Okay, again just point cut into that and then start going tight here on the sides and the back: oh okay, then I'm gon na hold this out again like they did over there just kind of point cut into that. Take a little bit of that link. Okay, now this top, she just likes it really rly chunky, really any the the more texture, the better, so just take just kind of chop into this. So it's like your bangs that tiny bit longer I mean they're shorter, but not like extremely short time. But yes, this top point cut okay, so I just I hold that up point cut into it and then she goes this way now she she lights the length over her ears. So I come in. I don't take as much length off of her ears. You can see, I just had a point cut into that, but I don't take as much length just cuz she's. She likes it a little bit longer, so we always take more up here and back there. Then we do this side make sense. Hallie'S you got ta, have your sights yeah, you have that's true. Very true. She'S done a little bit of everything, so I have to tell you guys a story. It'S funny. We went to well. I'Ve been cutting Lisa's hair for 22 years and I had gone to a hair show and a short spiky cut head. I learned - and it was just so cute - she's - got perfect hair for it perfect face for it, so she come in just for her regular appointment right. It'S too easy yeah, it's too easy to have it's work to go back so same thing over here. You guys. I'M just holding that out just a point cutting a little bit into that. But yes, she was a trouper. She just let me do it and it's been fine. Ever since I'm like she said, we've changed it up confused, but you think I said a little groan. Yeah, okay, no, like I said she likes the length here, but she does like textures. So what I do is I took a little slice there. Then I scoot over a little bit and then I take a little slice through. There will slice through there little over there. Okay, we need a little bit through here too. That just makes some different links up there and then I love to take the texturizing shares through all of her hair, and then I take the razor and kind of get out. So it's a little bit more PC just because she has so much hair. You need to do like extra on texturizing for her hair because she has so much so I'm just going around and it's about 2/3 like when I hold it up. I go 1 2, so it's kind of down below and up above down below and out. Ok, now after I've done that, that's when I bring in the razor - and I come up here and I just kind of chunk out pieces and it works real good. When we use a razor doesn't it seems to take different chunks out, which is nice. It makes it PC, yes, very PC, so the whole top isn't like this. It'S not cut the same, but yet it's not too. You know what I mean: it's not like so uneven, but it looks bad, but it's just it just makes it PC. So let me turn them this way same thing. I just kind of take a little chunk, okay and then the Bay Area I just take - and I just kind of come along this side - and I just kind of shave a little bit like this. That just takes some of the bulk, but yet she still has the link. So, okay, now to style you guys you can see like when I do this. Look at that. That'S that the texture! That'S what keeps it up. You can just see it stand up on the phone kind of I add, root, lifter into style. This gives it volume through the base area, so it will lift and stay lifted during the day and then the mousse just one squirt. That'S all you need. I know it doesn't look like much, but if you use too much it's too much very concentrated, so you just need a little bit. Okay, now we're gon na dry. His back you just write down and back here, just take the speaker's back and forth. So you can see, I just start in the back to get this dry. [ Applause, ], dry, I'd, love to take them epic brush and go back to the fourth to give the movement really well together. In fact, there's a link below if you need a hairbrush, you can just click on that and either order in there there's not much money. All right. Okay: two drops of the oil I'd love to put the oil in that made them through that her hair can handle three rub it in really good and then just come through here and it'll. Just make her hair really soft and it'll condition it and make it shine. Okay and we're at least that has such thick hair. I used to tacky it's a little bit stickier than the clay. I just rub that in and they it's flying. Okay, rub that in and then just start grabbing at it feeling better we set of hands right. That is true. True, true he's a little bit, you can see you just bring this down. Okay, now I'm going to bring her to the front so to my near, so I can piece that out. Okay, all right, please! Okay, now we're just gon na spray. It Novak coming nothing, no texture! It just stands up on its own and then I'm going to turn her around, so you can see the back. Morris Blackett: This is Lisa...I love the hair cuts Radona gives me...its always quick and easy to style...Thank you Radona for over 20 years of hair cuts!

Denise Peacock: Beautiful! I love the shape and texture. That’s a nice brush for drying that style. I watched the video of you getting your haircut and it looks great! Keep up the great work! God Bless You! ❤️

See Jay: I love these short cuts but the back of my head is flat. I also am broad shouldered and the blunt cut neckline looks too manly on me. Any suggestions? I am 70 so chin line looser and looks worse if back of head too flat. I also have fine hair and a lot of it along with a mix of wavy spots, cowlicks, double crown so always need lots of texturing. I love the spiky look and occasionally can get a cut that it will do that but not consistently. Also, I am naturally gray, quit coloring a year ago and love not worrying about it fading or growing out within a couple weeks. Thnx so much for any tips you may have. Love your videos!

Jessica Smith: You did a great job as usual. Looks so good on her. Thanks for sharing this.

Jessica Strong: Very Beautiful ! ! ! A lot of art work going on there ️

Kathy Knuteson: Love this style!

Kristi Matash Johnson: I remember writing to u approximately 9 years ago in beauty School because I was older and and to my surprise supported. You were then and are now still my favorite person to watch!!! I always go back to your older videos too just to get a full range!!! I’m turning 50 and I really love cutting hair, but I’ve always worked in chains!!! A lot of the girls that took cosmetology in high school was a two year program and barely had clients. I went to Aveda because of their supposedly good reputation. In my town I absolutely learned only state board and it was 5 weeks of classroom and the rest of the year they made us appointment of what they felt we excelled at we did mocks 5 times in a year and our classroom was all what would be on state board. We did have classroom on Friday and every levels of classes had one day a week until at the time management classes meant something. I almost fell over because my management test was word for word. Ohhh I passed with 100% That’s what are Aveda wanted the highest scores, but I wouldn’t look for a job at first because I couldn’t do a bob, perm, pixie and a lot more!!! I knew basic color, but all these new types of placements no clue. I worked for Sport Clips for 4 years and loved it until every franchise was all about timing when great clips came out!!! I’m not talking about me taking an hour on a fade! I went back and got my barber license and only wanted to cut men’s hair!!! Ohhhh small time, old men didn’t believe in women cutting their hair!!! Huhhh Back in the day the older ladies built clientele at the chains because they were not bought out by “REGIS”!!! So if you’re too slow at one salon, they all know, I don’t have clients to rent a chair and don’t live in a diverse city where men believe women belong in a barbershop!!! I’m soooo ready to give up!!! I have an associate degree in finance and did sub-prime lending (Predatory) lending which caused the recession! I am barely surviving on haircutting? Help??? Please feel free to be very honest, only if you have the chance to write back!!! Tried nursing homes too

He cut my hair a few weeks ago but the top will not stand up and my bangs are too heavy. I also have a cow lick on both sides of my temple that will not lay down. I wear my hair over the ears. Thank you so much for any help you can give me. It just will not style like i want it.

Lori Dupuy: You've done a video with her before didn't you! I remember...I love watching you cut hair!

Linda Rawlinson: Love it.

ladygisele3: I have seen several hairdressers in my life and they all have difficulty thinning bangs and cutting equal hair on both sides! It's discouraging. When I get home I have to even out certain strands. - (( Sorry for the translation, I don't speak English.
