In this case, RaDona is going to use some “magic” products to help give our client the appearance of thicker hair as well as add movement and volume. To start with the styling, RaDona starts with using Monat’s Root lifter. With this, it will help lift the roots up from her clients hair to help make the roots lift and appear thicker. This way it also adds some volume to her clients thinning hair. She then uses Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse. This will help condition the hair while providing a touchably soft hold. This will also help give RaDona’s client volume, body, and movement. Make sure that you only use one squirt of Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse since it is super concentrated. After you blow dry the hair, you can just leave the hair like this. If you want to style it, you can use Monat’s clay to help move the hair to stand up and piece out. Then you will use Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil to help with any frizz.

Girls hairstyles today I am Nancy here with me. We are going to do a really fun cut on her. We are going to use the Clippers and we are going to shave the bottom half we're going to do this short, but we're going to go short to a little bit longer and we're just going to have it messy and kind of straight. It'S gon na be fun, so I have the number four on my Clippers. I am going to apologize because I have to use my old Clippers because anyway, my other ones Brooke, so if they are a little bit loud, so I apologize, but just bear with me we'll be alright. Okay. So all of this we are going to do with the number four okay [ Applause ], which is gon na, be so much fun safer, SuperDuper, easy for her [ Applause ] see they're a little bit. Well, I'm sorry because see how these Clippers speak a little bit on your I apologize, but I have to do this ham at that on video, because I knew [ Applause, ] 1030 right taken so long as this mother, [ Applause ], then up to the No [ Applause ] in the front, I'm just coming to Burt simple here: okay, I'm sorry that took so long and I will just make sure that's all even here in a minute okay, so I just come around here to the back of her head and around okay. What I'm going to do, I'm just going to comb this all forward? Okay, I'm going to hold this hair so where this is shaved, I'm going to just start point cutting straight up this way same thing over here: okay! Now so from this point, just give it come up this middle okay, I'm gon na point through it into this. I want a very choppy and fun, so I'm not just like point cutting, but I'm really kind of chopping into this. We want this to just be short and fun, okay, so through this area we want short. Also now, as we start to get to the friend, I'm going to angle up this way and the reason being is because she wants her bang area longer. So you can see how I come short and then I ended up this way. Okay, you're getting excited yes, yes, you betcha, okay, gon na look in the mirror, really fast. Okay! Now, what I'm going to do is take these sides, and I'm going to angle this way also - and I think what I'm going to do to after we are done cutting take them on this leg. Also do the same thing: we're going to dry it I'm going to texture it a lot we're going to dry it and then we'll probably cut some more after we dry it. Okay, I'm going to blend this in more my taking that side, because we want this really tight through this area. Take my shares right here here right here. You take this type to the end, also which we did back here, which at that time, okay. So this area, I'm just going to come in chop it this a little bit. Okay. Now I'm going to take my razor, I'm not gon na just come in here and just take. Let me turn this way, so you can see just take this just so. You have some movement in there with some shorter hairs. We just really want a lot of movement yeah, I'm very fine and thin hair. So the more texture we give her the Messier and more fun it'll be, and if you do those shorter hairs in here you know the longer hairs will sit shorter hairs. Okay, now I'm going to take my text, raise and Cheers, and I'm going to come through the line, that's here and I'm really going to texture this, so it blends really. Well, you just want that to blend really well. So I'd like to take my texturizing shares through that area. Okay, I am gon na bring the texture ice and cheers up through here a little bit. Also okay, now I'm going to do. Is my comb cleaning up a little bit for my slippers, see what you know? Okay, I introduced my little buzzers new trimmers. Okay, look out for me. I'M gon na come straight across here. What me so you guys can see. I can show you see how that cleans it up really nice time around her ear anything here just so, it goes into more of a point. You just lend us a little bit through here. Okay, same thing on this side: oh just come clean this up. Okay, sir items, I'm going to go up and around your ear in here again make this into a point: okay, perfect right! Now, I'm going to take the root lifter, which you can you guys can see this, which was fun. She can style it up like this. In a fauxhawk, she can flick it downward this way I am gon na dry. It just messy. Well I'll, show you guys: okay, I'm gon na put the root lifter through here through the root area. Okay, then I'm going to take the mousse, the magnifying mousse. Okay, then we are going to dry it and if we need a cut after we drag me with so we're going to try it now. [ Applause, ], okay, what I'm going to do with her beans - and you come in here and I'm just going to kind of piece these out. It'S way too heavy here in the front! That'S what I like about drying it out, as you can see where you need to to cut just going to bring this up. You guys kind of chop into this just a little bit on this corner. Okay, now, what I'm going to do is add some Oh trick here. Some of my oil just can do two little drops, I'm going to get something that before I can drop it. Okay, there's two troughs just rub it in my hands, then I'm going to rub it in her hair, which makes it shiny and soft. Okay. Now I'm gon na take the clay which is super awesome to a piece of L, but it's very soft. It'S not sticky, like my other stuff used to be so I'm loving it if you want the front downward okay, so fun so glad she let us videotape. She just woman, really super easy. Her new Z, yeah women are less hairdos. That'S for sure! Okay, you guys there is the new haircut for Nancy, with the number four clipper and it's just fun and messy again you know she could styler up in a fauxhawk. She could style it to the side slick it down anyway, there's a long way. She can wear the short fun haircut so anyway. Let me just turn her around to the site a little bit super fun, but I appreciate you guys watching and then I hope you have a great day please like and I'm subscribe and share. I would appreciate that so so much and anyway, let us know what you think: thanks have a good day. You

Lesley Court: I’m 73 and saving this to take to my hairdresser. Young people need to understand when we are on the downside of our lives we don’t give a damn what young folks think. We just enjoy ourselves!

Laura Shore: I LOVE IT!!!!!!! As a senior, I love a great, fun haircut. Just because we are older doesn't mean we don't want to be a little "Hip". Great job!

Linda Collison: I am so happy to see this haircut. I lost all my hair to chemo and when it finally came back (not all of it came back) it was very dark brown not blond as I had been all my life. I've been so frustrated and embarrassed that I don't go out much. I have a wig but it's so uncomfortable. I really didn't mind being bald once I got used to it so almost wish that it would all fall out again. I have areas in my hair where there are spots with no hair at all. I'm hoping that I can explain it to my hairdresser and see if she can duplicate what you've done. With being bald for so long then having this nasty mess, I haven't seen her in about 2 years. I'm hoping that she can help me. Possibly, I can send her a link to this page. Thanks for posting this. It gives me hope. :)

DoeZ: Wow!!! I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d ever see an older woman at least older than me (and I’m mid 50’s) rock the same kind of hair style I wear. Of course I have the blonde highlights and also purple highlights LoL to go with my spikes. LOVE the haircut. You go girl!!! Ignore all the haters and negativity they’re jealous they can’t rock the look.

Dona Linn: What younger people don't yet understand is we age on the outside but not on the inside. This lady obviously feels young, sassy and vibrant and the haircut reflects her inner self. I personally think she looks wonderful and full of spunk. I don't understand the negative comments because she looks pleased with the cut and isn't that what really counts?

Ranita Smith: OMGosh... I LOVE this style!! Wish you weren't so far away... you're an AMAZING STYLIST. Been watching you for years. ❤

patsie lee: I love every cut and style of yours that I've seen. I think it's wonderful that someone young, stylish and talented as you are, helping older women to look nice. Plus, you actually fix hair the way your client wants. You are a rarity my dear.

princessdiamond123: You rock girl! This my moms signature style all different variations of this cut. When her hair grows out I cut it for her when she can’t get to her stylists. She always get compliments when I cut it for her, her stylists says I do a great job too...I’m a natural(fast learner)...just give me the ✂️and I’ve got this! Lol , I like learning new techniques & I thank you

marinemom351 mom: I am 65 and this is exactly how I wear my hair. I get so many compliments on my hair from women my age, some who say they wish they could wear their hair like mine. I tell them to just do it because it grows back. This cut looks great on her. I love it.

Patty Velia: I love this, I use to wear my hair like that when I was in my 40's, 20yrs later I would love it again

Lilbit4u weird: It looks awesome. Super fun and edgy! That's the point of this pixie cut, for all you who don't have a clue what you're looking at. Your hair represents your personality. There is no age limits!

TheAmericanSpice: This is awesomely cool!! It's quick, easy AND I can do it myself!! Tired of paying someone else to screw up my hair!! I'm 56 and know I WILL Rock this pixie haircut!! Thank You for a great video and showing this beginner how it's done!!

Paulalina: Great video! My hairdresser gave me a pixie cut I love. At 64 and with essential tremors it's very easy for me to manage and I love the look. Nancy looks fabulous, like the two-tone color, too!

Patricia Robinson: I can't believe how much younger it makes her look - I love it!

Eaglette: I sport a #3 all over pixie and love it! This woman looks wonderful and the cut took years off her too! Thank you for sharing.

Susan Smith: I love this hair cut. She looks great. I’m showing this to my hairdresser!!!!!!

NickyMercado: I like people who do whatever they want with their hairstyle. I simply love it. She looks so much younger.

Jane Weaver: I love it!!!! It's a youthful look for we seniors.:) So wonderful for a summer cut.

Jean Lankton: I'm 65 years old with heavy coarse hair. I've worn a pixie cut for years. My cut is done super short completely with clippers. The one comment I always receive is "I wish I could wear my hair like that!". Some women think a short haircut affects their femininity. Not at all! Your sense of being feminine comes from within.....not your hair!

Andria Alvarez: My mom is going to be 75 in a few weeks and about to get this same cut done by me. This lady is rockin' this look and so will my mom. Haters are gonna hate. Age should never dictate the type of hairstyle you have. It's your life and your hair, live it and do it however you want.

otisbdriftwood1982: I think it's cute. When you get older, you have to right to do whatever you please. To wear your hair, makeup, etc. any way you want. You deserve it. We have followed many rules and regulations about clothing, makeup, etc. for many years. If you have not watched a YouTube named Puffin's Wife, you should. To me, she is inspiring. Btw, she sometimes rocks a pixie cut.

Dawn Matthews: Hey, I'm 75 and I wear my hair spiked! Just because I'm old doesn't mean I have to look it!

Nora S.: I just happened by. I love the way you cut hair. You're awesome! That pixie style on that woman looks so cute! (don't let the haters get you down!)

Tanya Walker: Question: What universe are SOME of you living in?? Her haircut/style is super cute!! Longer hair does NOT suit everyone! I LOVE short pixie styles!

Valentina Очеретяная: Мастер и прическа шедевральное исполнение!!СПАСИБО большое!!

Tina Coleman: Love this haircut/style! I'm 66 with thin and very fine hair. I wear mine in an undercut asymmetrical pixie. So easy to care for and always looks good.

judy lee: I just got a cut very similar to this and I love it there's a lot you can do with the top. Scrunch it, comb it all to one side, it's very versatile. I get a lot of compliments on it cause it suits my face shape and it's great for summer.

Pam Litzinger: I wore this style for years and loved it. (I may go back) it’s super cute with a tight w back neck line!♥️ it’s so difficult to find a person who can cut this style

Carol Poole: This looks so darn cute. I wear my hair short and would love to get the nerve to do this cut.

Susse Thrane: Looking great. Don't let anyone especially children dictate how short you can wear your hair.

Donna Davidson: I have this haircut, I’m 65 and I love it! I get compliments from young and old men saying I look sexy!

Laura anne Hess: I do my own hair for years now and have learned a few tricks with this great video. Thank you!

Lazy Pajamas: Hey every client and stylist is different! There are a few things I’d go about differently, but different techniques aren’t necessarily bad. She got the look and style her client wanted with a lot of sassy texture, I really like how it turned out, so does her client that’s what really matters!

Steve Nelson: I love it. This is the cut I want my girl to do for me.

carole clare: Very stylish, modern and quick. What’s not to love. Go girl! ✂️

debbie pont: I love this clients new look. ! IT looks really good on her. NIce to see a different look opposed to the stereo type cuts for the ages. Pretty sassy lookin ! Love it

Fran Giameo: I am 60 and I LOVE it!!! its pretty close to what I usually do but its definately what I want!

Catherine Yamada: I love it! I’ve been wanting my hair cut like that.

heyitzmon: Great Pixie Cut!! She wears it well! Thamks 4 posting!

Spyder Quilt: I love this cut, and it's hard to achieve. I wish you could cut mine like that! Nice work.

Tracey South: I think it is a fun look. Despite what some say about it being wrong for her age, I think attitude and sense of style is more important than age. My opinion. With some funky earrings and the right frame of mind, it can work. I do agree with some comments on the part of the cut done with clippers, is kind of patchy/choppy looking but the overall style I think is fun.

D DOLLAR: I wore this cut when I was in my 30’s. It looked edgy and cool with my eyes made up and a sheer red lip. Now, going into my 70’s l find a softer look is more age defying. The jowl area is not something, I myself, like to accentuate.

Donna Bergman: GREAT haircut!! I LOVE it!! I have short hair and I'm going to have my stylist do mine like that!

A.J. St. John: I'm 57 and I'm still rocking this haircut too. You go, my sister-friend from the 80's! Yep. Everybody mocking this woman will one day be 57 and sporting your pink hair from from 2020. Trust me on this. We don't age on the inside.

GA Grammie: As an older (71) woman with a pixie cut, fine hair, who would like to still remain current I can see why her client would want a pixie cut. The problem I have with this video is the quality of the cut. Never has my stylist EVER used those clippers on mine and my style is versatile, age appropriate, and easy to maintain. Yes, it is cut over the ears and yes, the back is short but not with clippers. I've had it this way for a few years now and I now see just how lucky I am to have an excellent, master stylist. Even if money is an issue, and isn't that true for most if us, no one should settle for a botched cut. If you like the style take a few photos to show another stylist as a guide but look for someone who can do a softer version. A little softness is necessary once we age. My sides are cut a bit longer and angle toward my face with a wispy look. I, too, like my bangs longer but then I have a higher forehead to hide than this lucky woman. The back of my hair transitions to a very short back for easy upkeep. Upkeep can be had without the clippers and the almost bald places this poor woman will have to grow out. And it won't grow out evenly either! A good cut will still look good even as it starts to get to long. Due to a health issue, I once went over 10 weeks without a cut. Not that I am suggesting doing that but I was still getting compliments the week before my cut. Yes, the style was a little different from the fresh cut but I was still able to make small changes and it still looked good. No one but myself knew it was supposed to be much shorter. So, whether you are old or young no one should settle for a bad cut. For those of you who are more 'mature', if you want a short, sassy, pixie cut then go for it. Do want makes you feel good. After all, haven't we spent enough years worry about others opinions?

Rhonda Thacker: I absolutely love the cut I think I’m going to get the same thing done. Thanks for sharing ❤️

hyltonla: Super cute! I’ve had really long hair for decades. I’d love to be brave enough for this cut.

Kathy Thackston: OMG...I’ve been looking for a EDGY cut for fine thin hair. This so ROCKS. I’m DEFINITELY doing this only thing I’d change PERSONALLY for my Personality is an ELEMENT of Shock with some BLACK underlying LONGER PLATINUM Bangs... You have made my Day. Forwarded to my Stylist already this morning

Toni Reisinger: I am 47 and I just love it! I spent a lot of years not doing things because I listened to others! Let the haters hate and go for it!

Bar Rez: Talent on loan from God! Amazing eye and technique. I was horrified at beginning thought massacre scalping disaster but it came out rockin perfect! Now show us YOUR CUT pleeease. Love THIS!

Betty Houk: I am 83 so a wash and fluff hair style is just my style ! Blessing to all ,stay safe ,stay well . Be kind to each other ,we are all one Family , The Family of mankind !

Oni: I was shocked she wanted it shorter, but it looks really nice. Love the cut

Shirley Drake: I’m 68 years old with thinning hair. I love this cut!

Sylvia Avila: Love it, everything about it looks awesome. When I go to a salon and I ask for a cut like this or a pixie cut, no one knows what it is. Not even when I present a picture. Great job and I wish you were my hairstylist. Have a awesome day.

arlene kerans: I am nearly 79 and I got my hair cut even shorter than this...like a long crew cut.  I get nothing but complements on it.  My face is unlined and my neck is smooth.  I stopped dying it and it is overall grey now.   Different colors throughout...natural grey.  I love it.

Leigh Saldivar: I love it! I used to wear my hair short. Very cute❤️

eileen oposnow: Radona is fantastic. I had been a hairdresser in my twenties (I am now 70). Recently after viewing her videos I am able to cut and style my hair more up to date and stylish than it has been. However, my hair is not only fine but has thinned much over the years due in great part over the years to thyroid onset in my forties, so I am skittish about texturing my hair to make it look “plumper”. Can she show us some more flattering styles for women like me? I am not afraid to try new fun things! Recently I colored my silver hair a dusty lavender with permanent hair color, which is still nice as it fades out. Doubt it if I would ever go with a blue or a green but I may give a rose blonde a try. Any other suggestions?

Judy Smith: I love it, I wear my hair very short and I love the ease of doing it.

Valerie Lihou: I love it! Makes her look younger! Perfect!!!!!

Donna Console: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CUT AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR YEARS FOR SOMEONE TO CUT MINE LIKE THAT.....NO ONE SEEMS TO GET IT.....EVEN WITH PICS...GREAT JOB....SOOOO JEALOUS

Laurie Estes: Love, love, love this cut on her. And now that things are opening up, I'm going to make an appointment for this cut.

Amy Gilmore: This looks awesome! Is there a video on how you highlighted her hair? Love that too! ♥️

Laurin Collins: Love it! She looks amazing!

Janet Myricks: I have to disagree with everyone. I’m 47, almost 48, with thin, fine hair & I would so rock this cut!!!

Juanita Morris: I really love it. I'm 67 and have always had my hair short. I would totally let her cut my hair. Don't listen to all these negative comments.

Karen Forbes: WOW!!!! That is absolutely gorgeous. I love it so much

Roxanne Harding: Love this haircut!! You did a super job

Julia Smith-Hynes: Love, love, love it! I am 65 and am thinking of going shorter for the ease of care. I just don’t have time. I wash my hair once, sometimes twice a day since I am am active outdoors a lot and it’s summer. It is just so cool.

Tricia J: I am 64 and have always wore my hair like that. I thought I would start to grow it out but after seeing this I am going short again. Love this cut. RaDona, what type of comb did you use on her hair ?

Della Juanita Underwood: I am 70 years old: a young 70. I would rock this haircut every day and spike it as much as possible!

Leanne G: I love this pixie cut on her, she looks amazing!

AnnaMaria226 M: I’m in love with this cut I graduated school almost a year ago and I just went off to booth rent because I have a decent clientele. One of my favorite clients is coming today to get a haircut and lowlights and I think I’m gonna do something similar to this. You’re awesome love it On a side note I’m reading comments talking about bald spots because of the clippers. If you’re truly a stylist and a good one first and foremost you wouldn’t be so nasty about another stylist we’re supposed to bring each other up this isn’t an easy profession and secondly let’s remember this is an older lady and she likely colored her hair which means those spots you’re seeing could very well be a change in hair color :) education is key I don’t care how long you’ve been doing it #dontBeAnAsshole

Mary Ray: Wow!! This haircut is super cute !! Looks great on her !❤

Lee BK: Since when did it become anyone else's business to tell someone that they shouldn't have a certain hair cut because of their age or shape? Age should NOT be a deterrent. As for the style...she loves it and good on her. Nothing worse than a bunch of haters bitching about something THEY don't like. YOU don't like it, YOU don't have to have it.

susan barr: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your videos and I wish you could come to NY and cut my hair!!! I Adore this cut and I just LOVE the way you style this beautiful short hair do!!! PERFECTION!!!!! I CAN watch your videos all day long!!! From your new "Subbie" Sue ❤

Autumnal Glow: Love it and I also love the stylist’s haircut. I’d love to have my hair like that but my hair is very fine. I just did a 1” clipper cut all over by myself. I have thinning hair and was tired of cleaning it up in the shower, etc. Going to color it fun colors now. Also got a wig to play with. My hair has gotten thinner and thinner over the years. I’m late 40’s now. I just can’t grow long hair anymore.

Msha: Oh wow....Such a cute cut! I am 54 and wear my hair in a similar style.

M. F. Richardson: Lady, you look OUTSTANDING. Great Job.

Gina Foster: Adorable!!! I would love this haircut!!!

Linda Boo: Looks awesome. You are one brave lady! I love it!

Diane O'Conner: To all the negative commenters, take a chill pill. The cut looks nice on her and will be easy for her to 'fix' every day. I'm all about simple when it comes to doing my hair. Oh, and btw, I'm 70 years old. Yes, we do get tired of doing our hair and makeup, but we do it because the older we get, the more it takes to look nice. After all, you're the ones looking at us!

TheSuperHarrygeorge: 99% are positive and love it. I alternate with this type of close crop and a graduated wedge. I have it cropped now as did it myself until i can return to my regular haurdresser. This really suits this lady.

LeeLee5: She wanted it, she got it, and she does look younger! May not be for everyone, but, geesh on all of the negative Nancys out there. Smh...It isn’t YOUR hair. She’ll enjoy the ease of taking care of it, too. When she tires of it, her hair WILL grow out. You go rock your cute do, girl!

Mary Ramirez: WOW... love it... Nancy looks great with her new due...great JOB

Brenda Thayn: Love this cut! She looks awesome!

Char Pyles: From one 60+ woman to another, lady you look absolutely MARVELOUS!

labchic97: I love it! I'm going to get mine cut like that!

Teresa Alpizar: omg! i need someone like you to do my hair! Awesome!

Jennifer Holt: I absolutely love this hairstylist, so wish I could get her to do my hair, I cut my own, bnb I never let anyone touch my hair & yes, I dont cut perfect, but works for me, this stylist is one i would so love to give me a dew!! Such funk, fantastic styles!! Adore adore

Dianne Bedwell: I’m getting my done like this when I get back home. Love it.

Janet Weeks: That looks adorable!! Love it!! But how can she do it herself on a daily basis? I am in my 70’s and would love that style

QuiltingChic: I think she looks fantastic and you did a great job!

Diana Burazin: i like it! I have fine, thin hair also and short hair is much easier to get volume and lift! This is a cute easy hair style and looks really good on her!

Gail Firegirl: That looks awesome!!! Love it!!!

Kendra Robar: I love this cut and hope to get one just like it. I think Nancy looks much younger :)

P Teehee: Love it. Looks really cute on her.

Deborah Kolusk: You look beautiful!! I thought with all the cutting you weren’t going to have any hair left but she did a excellent job

Mag Da: Love it! Would like to see what you could do with someone with thinner, finer hair.

Barbara Mowrey: I've been a hairdresser for 35 years and I love it! She looks thinner, more youthful and more in Society fashion. Of course I have Elizabeth Taylor's birthday and Elizabeth Taylor's taste and I watch and love Dynasty so there you go. I think this woman looks fabulous! I just wish I had the nerve but I don't yet. This woman would look older in my opinion with any longer style.

Valjean Macias: It is so cute and suits her to a tee! Super easy and I am going to try it soon. Thanks!
